  1. The game is broken on PC. Crashes, audio glitches, textures stretch to the sky in areas, the water doesn't render, the RTX is a frame rate killer even with a good graphics card, there are multiple bugs throughout even the opening areas that weren't even in the original version. It's a disaster and after Cyberpunk it's amazing that this broken mess isn't being talked about more. It's a joke.
  2. Since the maintenance announcement I constantly get logged out. It's random, some tabs I stay logged into and some I don't. Some log me out while the browser is still open. This is true on three different browsers I've tested. Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, and Brave. The only security I have on my PC is Windows 10 Defender and Malware Bytes. Nothing has changed on my computer pre or post your site upgrade. I even tried to follow the link you left in the update story, but when I got to the forums it said I had to be logged in. When I went to log in it said I was already logged in. Literally nothing in my PC has changed before or since this. Unless something with Malware Bytes conflicts with whatever changes you made, it's still an issue. The randomness makes me think that's an unlikely culprit though.
  3. The environment on Nexus posts is getting toxic. Today I posted a mod request to a mod that said it's taking requests and had another user go on some unhinged rant. I doubt I even have to post the persons name as I see them doing the same thing to everyone on roughly 40-50% of the mod pages I visit. There's absolutely no reason Nexus shouldn't have a true block feature. I can't think of another site of this size that doesn't have that feature. I even have the user blocked and all it says is that I'll no longer see their mod's. What difference does that make?
  4. In response to post #81823788. Unless they explicitly say otherwise, it shouldn't. When I used the old mod manager NMM, It updated all the time and it never affected my modded games.
  5. In response to post #80307978. #80350118, #80354833 are all replies on the same post. HA! Sure I'll go with oldschool. It beats middle aged nerd, I guess.
  6. Morrowind is almost 2 decades old?! I feel old af right now.
  7. The pictures look great, the commenting and apparently the moderating, not so much.

It really does remind me of early Bioware games and the idea of a complete experience instead of something hacked up into microtransactions and DLC. I hope Bethesda and other companies pay attention to these types of games and the experiences many gamers want, but let's be honest, microtransactions make these companies billions of dollars. If people don't have the self control not to indulge in them, they aren't going away. Sorry to hear about the game stopping bug, that stinks. I hope it's fixed now so you can finish it. Cheers!
  9. The new design is much easier to navigate and it's much snappier as well. I like it. I still don't like how if I click on New Today, or New This Week, that I have to click "See More". Just load as many as there are. It's a completely unnecessary button press. Other than that I like it. It would be nice if we had more options to customize our profiles to keep in touch with each other and the goings on in Nexusland without having to go to other social media, like that cesspool Twitter.
  10. Such a good game. I hope this sells well. I'd love to see what the dev can do with a bigger budget. Greedfall is excellent, but it's clear that a limited budget didn't allow it to get to the level I'm sure they wanted it to. If you like old Bioware games, this will be right up your alley.
  11. Nice interview from a really talented artist!

  13. In response to post #71856523. MMORPG's have been around for 3 decades now and single player games are moving along just fine. I wouldn't worry. It's not an either or situation, there's room for all types of games.

Ah, I see, thanks for the info. I hear Gopher is getting ready to do another series on Vortex. Hopefully that will be more comprehensive. One thing I'm almost certain about is that the renaming feature wasn't in there from the start because I even asked about it when I first started messing with it. I think when Vortex started you could rename mods only in the downloads tab, which doesn't do much good for my purposes, but I'm willing to admit I'm probably wrong about that. I guess my only complaint moving forward about Vortex is how it doesn't have a proper tutorial for knobs like me.

Sorry, I'm probably being a moron. I'm in the mods tab and clicking left and right on the mod I've downloaded and I don't get that window where I can change the name. EDIT: so okay, I double click the mod to get to the rename part. Awesome, I'm liking it, but you should probably make that clear in a tutorial video. I could have sworn we couldn't change the name in the mods tab before. Was I wrong the whole time? If I could make one suggestion, when I right click on the mod, an option to rename, or bring up the panel where I can, would make more sense. Double clicking it makes me automatically think I'm installing it. Am I right on this, or am I f'ing it up even more? If I can rename my mods in the "MODS" tab, I'll switch tomorrow. Apologies if I've had that wrong the whole time.
