  1. i too am having the same problem. Also, it only seems to be a problem with my main character. The others seems unaffected. I have also done a re-install, and followed the steps outlined above, but to no avail....any other thoughts on how to fix it?
  2. Go to Skyrim? ....my sig speaks for itself...
  3. Yea, I just finished downloading a bunch of updates, new mods and crap..then boom, update, script dragon fail....wah :(
  4. Hmmm...I too am interested in this.... There may be a way to use a .bat file to make this easier..... now, if the player's inventory could be found somewhere or sent somewhere to a text file then maybe that would cover that angle. Just some random thoughts....might help it along
  5. I know that Tytanis of TUM has mentioned that it may be released in the next update of his mod.
  6. This post needs some attention. Tho, it is easy for posts to get lost in the flood. I was making sure that no one had made a post about the less-than-awesome enchanted weapons. I mean, yes, some of them look 'pretty' But I don't want pretty. I want 'battle-axe-of-searing-flesh' with wisps of flame emanating from the super-natural steel that is my death-dealer. *cough* o_O So ya...erm...good luck.. ;D
  7. I had this thought for a mod idea under the same thought I'm glad to see someone bringing shape-shifting to reality
  8. with the addition of gunpowder...could we go take down dragons with cannons? Shove a cast iron cannon ball straight down its fire-breathing throat! HURRAH!!!
  9. I see a hardcore mode mod in the future... Armor must be repaired, and critical hits bleed...and if left untreated (either with a healing potion or healing spell) the character eventually bleeds out and dies
  10. Imagine.... You are nothing more than a frozen mass of sludge, hanging much like one of the many stalagmites that accompany you in the frozen cavern that you occupy. However, unlike these stalagmites, you are all too aware of the cold that grips you. prevents you from moving. Eras have passed, and yet still you hang... The need for weapons has created the need for ore, and in turn has created the need for prospectors. Prospectors comb every corner of skyrim, looking for the deposit that will thrust them into easy living. From your perch, you see a team these prospectors. Little do they know that they are the first living being to step foot in this cave for generations... This need for ore has created something else. Those whose underhanded choice it is to steal, rape, and pillage. Highwaymen, Bandits, Claim-jumpers... As the prospectors get to work, looking for signs of ore, a band of outlaws enter the cave. It is easy to see that the prospectors will be done away with quickly...and yet all you can do is watch, frozen to the ceiling of the cave. As the butchery ends and the scoundrels dig through the pockets of the dead, a large man approaches the others with a look of concern on his face. "That blizzard has moved right on top of us. We'll have to set up camp here." The looting gives way to the essential things, namely building a fire. As the flames rise, and night falls, you feel the subtle changes in temperature already taking effect on your gelatinous body. The change in temperature is enough to allow you to free yourself from the ceiling. Yet in your weakened state, you are unable to change form. You must find a template...something basic to take form off.... Didn't one of those bandits have a dog? ------------------------------------------------------------- So thats the idea...you start off life as nothing more than a puddle, and then eventually be able to shift into any creature found in skyrim. One would first have to learn how to change into a creature, perhaps learned by killing them (heh, go figure) Perhaps the more complicated and powerful creatures (mammoths, giants, dragons etc) one would have to kill more than one. In some cases maybe you'll get chased down by a hunter if you become a deer, or go unnoticed as a family pet. You could terrorize a village as a bear, or destroy a castle as a dragon... Just another wacky mod idea....
  11. Its a sign that someone out there has to make this mod...I had the same thought However you were able to express it much better than I could.... Your Idea of books solves the problem of the more complicated part of try to design your own weapon, or harder yet, the modder allowing you to do so I hope quite a bit of attention is put towards this topic as smithing does seem to be getting some attention
  12. With 50 hours played, I've only created one character. He's an Orc specialized in smithing and one handed weaps, but with enough knowledge about Restoration to get out of sticky situations. I do have plans for a second character, an Argonian...destroyer of everything... xD
