  1. Yes, at least I have nothing to complain about gameplay-wise. The stuff really works like it should.
  2. I play a stealthy mage and I like some aspects of the system. I focus on Illusion which I find works as it should. Alteration took a hit and has become really, really boring. I liked this a lot in Oblivion with its many fun utility spells. Now? Armor spells and detect. Not even elemental resistance! Conjuration has no Bound Dagger (I need SNEAK ATTACK!!) and no armor either. (Have not used summons much) Destruction is underpowered as far as I've heard. The fact at you can dual wield spells is really sweet, and makes for some fun combination especially with Illusion, but the dual cast is too expensive. The two things that bug me the most are related; not enough spells and no spell creation. Few spells would be acceptable if you could make your own and a plethora of spells would render creation unnecessary.
  3. I tried this, and didn't seem to do anything.
  4. Yes, I like it as well. But really the standard bow should just be compatible with spells, although not simultaniously.
  5. Would reloading require a hand, thus only allowing one shot if off-hand is otherwise used?
  6. Some people reply as though they are forced to use mods...
  7. I think they are (I know I am a little) a little sick and AFRAID of its popularity, and are sort of defensive of their genre of choice. They need some faith in the western fantasy genre, because it's really not going anywhere just because anime is popular :P There is room and plenty of audience for both types really..
  8. Never had trouble with favorites and DW. Works as well as any other application of the favorites system.
  9. I would actually rather have a nerf of crafting, than a buff of enemies. This would validify other character builds.
  10. Some people really, really do not like anime. I mean, neither do I, but the reactions here. It's almost funny... But not really. Fun mod idea, and although I wouldn't use it, there may be similar ideas I would like.
  11. I have a few times tried dual Bound Sword for the hell of it, and used dual sneak to take down enemies I found really hard to handle, and it is just really clumsy. Either DW was never meant for sneak, but coincidentally works halfway, or it's just poorly done. Also from what you describe, dual power attack is really the only option, because single attacks are really just single attacks with one idle hand... I agree that hand-to-hand combat needs a serious revamp and not only due to difficulty (too low with über smithing/enchanting, and sometimes too high when you're insta-killed by bandits).
  12. A simple fix to start out with would be to cap smithing. At effective lvl 150 maybe, so you at least get some bonus from smithing items? But even that may not be enough.
  13. Ok, just wanted to make sure you knew about the limited option already available until an unarmed mod is made :)
  14. I don't really get DW. Do you simply power attack till you're out of stamina?
  15. FYI, unarmed combat should be quite effective with heavy armor, or so I've heard. With the right perk, the armor on your gloves becomes damage rating. I can see how you'd want more though.
  16. This has been suggested before, so it probably will show up some day.
  17. Only read the title. I totally agree!
  18. I'm not master yet so I didn't know they were two-handed. Well, that kind of makes them inferior now doesn't it... Bad game design. EDIT: So, you're better off dual casting a lower level spell?
  19. Bumping this to keep the great and very much needed ideas alive.
  20. To me, that is the epitome of elven warriors. That look is sooo epic!
