Bravo to all of those who have submitted wonderful, insightful opinions! Seeing wonderful mods and reading threads like this makes me proud to be a member of this family of sites.

I rather disliked the linearity of the storyline. It wasn't horrible, but they did rely on some bad mechanics, such as the ancient invisible wall, to impede progress. I enjoyed it, but I know I will never get the hours out of New Vegas that I did with Fallout 3 and Oblivion. There seems to be little feeling of exploration, the main reason for playing both previously mentioned games for so long.

I agree with ub3rman on this one. Dremora Companion is a great mod if you want a good companion and your own oblivion plane. I remember something about making an oblivionized(Is that a word?) version of cyrodiil, but I can't remember where. I'll post the link if I find it again.

When do you think a /about command will finally be implemented?

Might I suggest a white list for whoever runs the server? I build on another smp server that relies on it to block out untrustworthy people, since you really can't tell who griefs your buildings.

Is the multi player server open to anyone?

If you guys haven't found this out already, there is a mod that alters the carts of the game, working for both single player and multi player. It really simplifies their functions and makes them insanely useful. The link to the website is: http://www.birdcloud.com/autocart/.

The Crimson Shadow Help Needed Quest Makers Scripters Exterior/Interior Designers Current Story A mysterious man, named Don Lobon, contacts with a letter and asks you to join his guild, The Crimson Shadow. He states that the mission of the guild is to protect Cyrodiil and its citizens from an ancient, mysterious evil. He also requests that you come see him for more information. After a trek to access his guild hall, deep underground, he welcomes you into the folds of the guild, hoping that you can advance the guild's cause and protect cyrodiil. You advance in the guild and gain more and more suspicion as the quests he sends you are to collect ingredients and artifacts. You wonder what he could need such things for. He soon sends you on the a quest that partly confirms the thought that he may not be all that he says.. He asks you to kill your fellow members, wherever they may stand. Soon after that, he sends you to an abandoned fort, deep within Blackwood Forest. Delving into a dungeon that doesn't seem to fit the image of an abandoned fort. You encounter dark creatures, ones that you have never seen before. After braving the long dungeon, you see an ancient artifact. It is not easily reached though. The leader of all those dark creatures stands before you. After successfully beating it, you reach the staff, but things do not occur as you thought they would. Don has reached his goal, thanks to you. Using the artifacts and ingredients you collected, he obtains a dark power within the staff. He can control the shadows that you have seen many times in the dungeon. After you manage to defeat him, despite his power, you can control it yourself. What is done with this artifact is entirely up to you.... I have to say that this game is really fun when you get down to it. I just got the alpha and I already have my own mine and cave/home. Once I figure out how to make screenshots, I'll post them. It does have a certain level of difficulty to it, but, at this point, my goal is to avoid enemies and go for that iron.

Why can't your current computer play Kotor 2?

Well, Team Gizka has pretty much failed. Everyone left and the team leader really isn't even trying. Even their site is down last time I checked. Instead, a couple of people led by a person name stoney made their own Restored content mod. Its pretty much on its second version or so at this rate. The site I pointed out is sorta like the home of stoney and other people working even more to restore what was taken out of the game before release. A couple of mods made to restore the various missing aspects of the game are in the works now. Edit: Now that I think about it, I wouldn't say fail. As far as I know, their work sorta allowed stoney and the like to work on their restoration. They just sorta gave up at some point. The team is basically dead ;p.

I wholeheartedly agree with kieranfoy with the fact that you should get kotor on the pc. I love kotor 2 on pc though. It might be better than the first restored. Turning off the LOD solved the blurry area, but the textures are still really messed up.

I recently reinstalled Oblivion after a serious ctd issue. I put all of my mods back on after resetting the ini and I start it up and everything is really messed up. Here is my load order: Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
