  1. Why would you want to cure her on the vampire side anyway?
  2. Because in a way you are a Vampire Lord, not just a regular vampire. How many vampires do you see out during the day? Even in movies and shows -- powerful vampires could walk in the day but have some sort of weakness/drawback. Even if the character is not in Vampire Lord form, he still has the blood -- and I'm sure if the blood is as ancient and powerful as the dude told us, then the sun won't kill vampire lords but will hurt them (Like they currently do) If we were basic vampire noobs like the 100s we kill, then we'd become ash the second we fast travel  It doesn't necessarily work like that. There are different bloodlines of vampires that come from different progenitors. Each bloodline has different qualities, abilities, and drawbacks. Sanguinare Vampiris is Harkon's bloodline: the Volkihar(the strain in Skyrim). Volkihar vampires don't burn up in the sun like the Cyrodiilic vampires(Porphyric Hemophilia) they are only weakened by it. So it doesn't really matter if your pure blood or not you still won't burn up...only be weakened. Even if you're an ancient vampire like Harkon you're still vulnerable (hence the reason he's going after Auri-el's Bow in the first place. Okay so what are the advantages/drawbacks of the Skyrim vampire strain? The Volkihar vampires I was talking about in my post. That's the strain you play in game. You play the Porphyric Hemophilia vampires in the Oblivion game. Also I wouldn't think buying armored trolls from the dawnguard would be lore friendly lol...buuut then again illusion magic is all about manipulating people sooooo...idk. Making crossbow bolts and such as a vampire I think would be fine because they're just a type of weapon. I don't think they should be only for the dawnguard. In a roleplay perspective if your vampire character is willing to go out and learn the techniques...there is nothing really preventing him/her from doing so especially if they forcefully glean the information from the dawnguard muhahaha lol.

  4. I know about that lore of the moons but if that were true how do you explain the phases. If they were still glowing from a fading divinity it seems like they would be at full phase constantly. The glow must have some relation to sunlight...correct me if I'm wrong. If it is divine energy seems like even that would hurt vampires as that is what sunlight is.
  5. *sigh* if you were paying attention I didn't say anything about the moon creating light I was talking about *reflected* sunlight.
  6. I'm just speaking on technicalities here. I'm not saying they'll burn up in moonlight, I'm just saying they might feel some kind of ill effect from standing under a full moon. That's when reflected sunlight would be the strongest. Any other phase may not reflect sufficient sunlight to produce any noticeable effects. From what I understand in the lore though, the sun is just a hole in Aetherious (heaven I guess) that radiates pure Atherial energy (what I assume is what causes harm to vampires). So maybe the moons can't reflect the energy...only the light.
  7. Also he is said to have stolen the secret of life from Akatosh...
  8. Do you have LOOT or BOSS to sort out your mods' load order?
  9. So I was thinking today that moon(s)light is technically just a reflection of sunlight. So during at least full moons shouldn't vampires take at least slight damage? Or is there something I'm missing from the lore?
  10. When my dunmer character decided to marry Aela before right before they were about to attack a forsworn camp. Aela didn't make it...
  11. So I was derping around solstiem when 3 wild ash spawn attack me. I start dousing 'em with frost magic and such and after a while I noticed their health bar wasn't going down at all. I even use the Finger of Death spell from the Apocalypse spell package that kills instantly...nothing. So I say screw it and use the kill command aaand NOTHING. Wtf is going on. A heroic khajiit even showed up to help but unfortunately he didn't stand a chance. I don't think a mod is causing the problem as it has never happened before to other npcs in all the time I've used the mods I have. If you think the mods are important I will post them upon request. Also yesterday I cleaned my save using the Skyrim Save Cleaner in case it's relevant.
