  1. My main gripe is with the chimney built into warmaidens. It does not match with where I put my fireplace/kitchen in my interior cell. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c358/MJermann/notower02_1.png I tried hiding it with one of the towers you can craft for the Hearthfire houses, but it doesn't quite match. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c358/MJermann/tower02.png
  2. I am in need of some advice, particularly from anyone who has built a player home or any other structure. I've been working on a player home mod and appear to have done things in a reverse order from most people. I built the interior first and now I'm trying to make the exterior match. I can get the exterior to nearly match by sticking the warmaidens and Honningbrew meshes together, but there are a few places where things don't blend well. Would using NifSkope help me at all? I heard it can be used to combine meshes and turn them into a single object. I also heard it can make things translucent, which could help hide some unsightly features. I'm trying to avoid making too many changes to the interior. Can anyone offer any other advise on how I may go about building an exterior that matches my interior?
  3. It's all good now. I ended up making my own tub using some stone walls, dwemer stone chairs, and some stair cases. I'm trying to make the house feel like it fits in with the Vanilla game, meaning I'm trying to only use objects available in the CK. My justification for the tub is whoever built the house either accidentally dug into a spring or dug a hole and threw some boulders in to give it an outdoorsy feel.
  4. Nevermind, the LS was referring to another mod that I was using as a reference.
  5. I may have found a solution, but the mesh is missing its texture. The name of the Mesh begins with "LS" and I can't figure out what "LS" stands for. I have all of the DLCs loaded and there are other objects that begin with "LS" that appear correctly. So what does "LS" refer to?
  6. I've recently started trying to build my own player home and I'm looking for a resource where I may find a small bathtub to go in the main bedroom. It only needs to be big enough for two and I plan on adding script to auto-strip NPCs. So does anyone know where I may find a good tub to use?
  7. So I'm just about ready to start my 5th play through and I've downloaded a ton of mods to make it a really unique experience for me. But I've yet to figure out what graphical (especially textures) enhancements to use. My friend recommended starting with Bethesdas official HD texture pack and combining it with the Skyrim HD mod. Is there any benefit to this? Are there any other recommended graphics mods I should look into? Excluding ENBs. I don't feel like messing with those.
  8. Well I do have NMM and that is how I installed Inigo in the first place, but the author didn't say you could just use the NMM to update the mod. All he said in the instructions was to replace the two files, which led me to believe that I had to update it manually. I've never updated a mod before, so I was being cautious.
  9. So I'm trying to upgrade my Inigo mod from 2.0 to 2.2 and I'm having trouble replacing the .BSA and .ESP files. The files for 2.0 are in a zipped folder, as are the files for 2.2. I can't drag and drop the files between the two zipped folders. Any ideas how to fix this? Or is it as simple as just swapping out the zip folders themselves?
  10. I did, but she didn't move. I was just looking into it though and it seems that since I made her a steward for a DLC home, I can only move her to another DLC home by having her follow me and getting her to be my steward at the new home. Then once she's there I can do the same thing to get her back to Lakeview. Given that this requires me to build up at least the basic version of another home, it seems it would be easier to do this before adopting. That way I don't have to build as much. Hopefully then, she'll choose the double bed. Does this make sense?
  11. Ah. She probably is claiming one of the single beds then. The single beds can be slept in by anyone including children. You'll still be able to move children in but one or other of them won't be able to sleep they'll just stand by the bed all night. The DLC houses can be a lottery as to who sleeps in which beds as the only beds which are tagged as Player Owned and Child Owned are in the bedroom wing. Its for this reason that beds are "owned" by a faction in vanilla houses to avoid this trouble. You'll have to move your family to another player house then move then move them back, everytime you move the beds are reassigned at random you may have to do this several times until they sleep in the correct beds. Annoying but there it is. That's what I thought was going on, but since she's also my steward at the house she isn't able to move to another location is she? I know I tried moving once after I married her and I never got the quest to go visit her in the new location and she just stayed where she was.
  12. That doesn't sound right. In all my other play throughs I've never built the bedroom wing and this has never been an issue.
  13. I actually don't have the bedroom wing built. Could this issue have been caused by making her my steward first and then marrying her? The house was fully upgraded when I got her as a follower and the only bed in the house at the time was the player double bed on the second floor.
  14. Ok, so I've been looking into this little issue for a awhile now and can't find a good solution. I have a follower who is also my wife/steward at Lakeview Manor and she doesn't sleep in the upstairs double bed. Instead, she goes and stands in the room where the children's beds would be. I haven't made those beds yet because I'm afraid she'll claim on of them and I won't be able to adopt two kids. I'm not really seeing any mods that I feel confident can fix my issue and I'm not sure if the consul command "setownership" would work and still allow me to use the bed. Would anyone happen to have any suggestions on how to fix this?
