  1. That's what I thought, I also noticed there is a statment that there will be another file for PC coming that can be used from Windows instead of the DAupdater. I think I might wait and see if that will be a patch kit or a similar complete revision like this one is.
  2. I saw this and looked at the singing cutscene in the toolset, and to be honest I am not sure how they made it work. I understand what they did, but how it works together no clue. The song is like I thought with it's own track, but the speak line (with no actual dialogue) and animate face (which is timed somehow to the voice in the song) tracks for Leliana I have no idea how they tied it into the song track. I can't get the object viewer to show the curve/connection from one to the other. I think it can be done, but might be a nightmare to get it accomplished.
  3. I noticed this looks like a full new version not just a patch. Is that assumption accurate?
  4. This isn't the same "hairstyle from the Leliana SA facemorph" that we looked at two days ago? My mistake... Shoulda' checked closer. Sorry... It is, and if DW is right it should show up, and also means we were both mistaken for the other person. However, I think the other person was trying DW's trick and it was not working for her, so if this works here, then we may want to get with that other user and let her know to try this method. Perhaps the other user was typing in a different pathline than this one causing it not to show up in the CC. EDIT: DW, the other user Thandal and I are talking about is dani80. If you see a response that this is working before either of us do, can you let her know about this XML trick?
  5. I have completed with every type, now, and dual wielding warrior is my favorite. Mages are still boring for me staying back and causing too much damage too fast even on nightmare plus. 2 handed fighters are waaaay too slow. Archers I use as backup talents for my dual weapons just to change up sometimes. Rogues are fun on occasion to add the ranger talent just to have furry animal friends. ;) Sword and sheild is similar to 2 handed in that can take a lot of damage, but not really dish it out. So the nice mix of causing havoc at a quick pace (but not too quick) is the nice dual weapon warrior. Scrapper to the core.
  6. This was put in another board, but may answer your question. It's pretty in depth about what it would take and why it has not been tried yet. http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/223727-romance-in-awakening/
  7. The body models do not work the same for DA as they do in Oblivion. The armor/clothing/nude models are all seperate models independent of each other. I know that Oblivion the armor depended on the body underneath, but in DA that is not the case. Hence the reason for a lot of armors not to be based on the nude body models. There are some good armor models that restructure the model to be more feminine for females, but not much variation for males. Also depends on ow much skin you want as to which armor/clothing mods you want to have. If you want just slender females, xeltech has a good mod here and tmp07 has three good ones at Bioware Social Network. For more exposed armors those made by Oldwolfe, hsli, and Firinneach should fit what you are looking for.
  8. Cool, at least it's progress. ;) I know that the sexy clothing mods said they had LOD files, but I am betting that is where the conflict was by that last description you gave. Firinneach's are good, I used them for some time before using the propotions fix for the armors. I miss the light armor a little less for the Dalish armor, but oh well. I still use his apprentice robes for males and females. As for his mod, he has the LOD files as seperate downloads, so you will have two downloads for each one you get, one for close, then the LOD for farther distances that you add to the main file's folder in the override.
  9. The looking bad far away then good close up means that particular one is missing the medium to far LOD files. As for the one that look good far then up close get messed up means the LOD for medium and far are ok, but the main close up file is messed up. I wonder have you maybe tried deleting the downloaded files, then redownload them. I wonder if the download currupted the files, and a new download might fix that problem.
  10. Not that I can think of off the top of my head. However, all is not lost. I would suggest contacting tmp about getting the hair into the CC. Perhaps not something released to the public if he/she does not want to, but they might be willing to help you out on a one-on-one basis to get it into your personal game.
  11. The two NSS and NCS files are scripting files to make the Expanded shapeshifting work. Now you did remove a weird tint file the fixed the clothing issue, correct? So we are at the crashing issue that was happening before the addition of these mods. What other mods before these did you have?
  12. Ahhhh, thank you Dan. Was wondering why a harirstyle mod wouldn't have the .xml, but as a full .mor, it wouldn't need it. Yeah, it's a package morph similar to the one that WolfheartHU made for Wolverine at my Requested mod. All the needed files for the morph are in a folder for the one head. In WH's case head file, skin texture (beard), and eye texture. This Leliana is a similar type package.
  13. Ok, haven't tried Drac's mod, so was not sure. The LOD files are length of view files so that the model will look the same from close or far in the game. I'm just trying to go through your list and narrow down possibilites. Please refresh my memory, what was the last mod you added? and was the game working fine before that last added file?
  14. Ok, I checked in the tucked hairstyles mod, and the ponytail look from the Leliana mod is in there, but the other main picture version is not in the tucked hair mod, at least the main file one. I have not checked the earring version.
  15. I think I see what the problem is. The link you have is for a Leliana morph package, not a chargen package. That same author also made the tucked hairstyles mod that is here: http://social.bioware.com/project/2595/ This one does have the chargen xml as an optional file, and then can be used with the chargen compiler for the use in the CC. As for if that particular hairstyle is in the tucked hair mod I do not know, but as it is from the Leliana mod you would have access to the hair in the toolset only.
  16. I think I know what will help with this. The proportions fix, if tmp's version, has files for all of the armors and clothing that are not stand alone mods. I found a way around it that might help because Ii like to use Firinneach's Combined Mesh version of mage robes. An example, like Morrigan's robe, you can remove the Morrigan file from the proportions fix folder, and then use the Morrigan robe mod you have. If the two remain in the override, they will conflict. That might be causing the crashing especially in the case of the noble clothing that the nurse wears in Ostagar near the place you said it was crashing at. The game is trying to use two files for the same clothing, and crashing because it does not know which one to use. Same would apply to the sexy robes, commoner clothes, chantry robes, etc. I think there is even a file in the proportions fix for underwear that would fight with Dracomies underwear mod. Now looking back you stated that the proportions files you had were only for the undressed models, and on top Dracomies underwear mod that might be a conflict. However, make sure the proportions files you have are just for the underwear and not the full files. (I made that mistake when I first got it thinking I was getting the clothing one and got the undressed one instead which conflicted with Realistic Look)
  17. That's a fault of the game when using the utc files. Once a utc file has been loaded in a game it will keep those stats. You have either two options, run a console command (which I do not know unfortunately), or load a save game from prior to getting the armor you have modded. DarkeWolf or RustyBlade will know what the console commands are I am sure.
  18. I've done some poking around with the mods you listed and scratching my head as to which one is causing the problem. Being that the armorr tints is in the override, I have a hunch that might be an issue. I experienced sommething similar when I used Firinneach's Combined mesh mod and retinted with the T7/Dragonbone retint mod. The tint files should be erf files. Might remove those to see to see if they might be a problem with the clothing issue. As for the Ostagar thing (sorry just noticed it from your earlier post) when you force load a game, immediately create a new save, then reload the new save. Then see if the problem persists. The way I would approach this fix would be to remove all of the mods, then replace them one at a time until the problem reoccurs. That should help narrow down the root of the conflict.
  19. I see a variety of causes here, and nailing down which one could be problematic. DA Redesigned, IA, and JB all deal with textures, and make sure that proportions fix only has files for the naked bodies. I also use those, made by tmp77 I think, and they are redisigns for all armors/clothes/nude models in the folders. I like to use apprentice robes by Firrineach, so I went into the proportions folders and removed all robe files as an example. Also, the game will take files in the override folder first over those added using the addon option. I will bet you have something in the override folder that is causing a lot of this, and override files do not show up in the downloaded content to turn off/on.
  20. Have you tried just going towrads the war table? The trigger place to start that cutscene is about the first set of ladders/scaffolding down the walkway from the joining area. You do not have to, per se, follow Duncan there. I usually pass him as I go to that scene. EDIT: I have even gone down to the quartemaster to sell the junk that I get from Daveth and Jory. As long as you do not pass that trigger spot, you can explore the rest of the camp all you want.
  21. Thandal, I have learned that the werewolves reverting to naked humans was due to IA. I have never had them naked all the way back to the original release of the game.
  22. Do you have any other clothing mods, like one of the proportions fixes, installed? Or a texture mod that might be affecting textures close up? It sounds like the LOD files for longer distances are working fine, but closer where textures are more defined seems where the problem appears.
  23. Hey, even the kennel master said they are at least as smart as the average tax colletor. :whistling:
  24. Benjah, RB is right, what you are descibing is not normal, and you have to have some sort of mod conflict causing what you are describing. What you think my Leliana should be doing is not what she is doing, and I have only two mods that are not cosmetic.
  25. lera213, I am not sure why it does that. I used to have it and was disappointed when I would make a face with a beard and look normal, then when it went into DAO it suddenly had a severe guant look to it. I quit using it because of that reason. My guess is somewhere in the coding of that program that was fixed when they released the full game.
