  1. You should have two plugins for immersive armors in your plugin list. Did you get the initialization message when you started the game and is the MCM showing up?
  2. Figured it'd be nice to discuss favorite foods and recipes, especially since I bet a lot of people here have very creative or diverse foods they eat a lot. (I didn't see any other thread like this so if there is one already point me to it!) Today I am eating chicken and rice cooked by my sweetie. Amounts and times are approximate. This is fairly hard to screw up. 0.5 kg chicken (1 lb), chopped bite-size 200 g salt pork (mostly just fat, bacon would probably work too or we've done it with serrano ham which was amazing, but then we used a lot less, more like 100 g). should be chopped pretty finely. A lot of the flavor comes from this so it is pretty important. 2 bell peppers (the sweet kind!), chopped coarsely 1 onion, chopped (doesn't really matter how coarse because it will cook down). 1 small can diced tomatoes salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic to taste Sautee the meat. Set aside and brown the onions and wilt the bell peppers in the same pan (so they can cook in all that delicious fat). Also add in the garlic. If you're using fresh garlic, then definitely add it in here; if you're using garlic powder I would add half now and half when you add the tomatoes. If the ham or pork isn't very fatty you may need to add some vegetable oil. Add the meat back in, along with the tomatoes and all the spices except pepper. Cook together about 15 minutes more. Add the pepper. Serve over rice or pasta (or any other starch you have handy. This goes on most things). I just got an order of tea from China so I am drinking autumn 2015 imperial Yunnan gold tip black tea to go with it :) (Ok that sounds like a mouthful when I type it out. It is very nice tea... if you ever want to talk about tea I can talk about it for ages!) What are you eating today?
  3. The problem is that the mod overwrites the language. So for example, if a mod edits Belethor's Store, to add lighting or an NPC or something, then it has to change everything else in the record too (the "rule of one" in modding). This includes the name. So now it is called Belethor's General Goods Store instead of.. whatever that would be in Russian (sorry!). You would need to make a patch that uses the name and phrases from the original, and the other changes made by the mod that you do want. You can do this in TES5edit but it would be tedious. It is also possible that Mator Smash will do it correctly. More info on mator smash: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/3szc71/mator_smash_video_tutorial_conflict_resolution_at/
  4. What Demonikone said - the face/body/hands/or feet turning purple when loading a racemenu preset is from the mod not being able to find an overlay. This happened to me - I still had the mod required installed, but I had merged it, so the preset couldn't find it.
  5. Apparently sleepy Thallassa forgot to link a guide! STEP is really good, but this guide is my favorite: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/wiki/beginners_guide
  6. This has a list of most of the mods known to cause save bloat: http://steamcommunity.com/app/72850/discussions/0/523890681422555089/ It should be updating soon, too, so check back in a couple days. You have a lot of very script heavy mods. It's no surprise your save game is large. It may not even be bloat (bloat would be: save files much larger than expected)... that may just be how big a 150 hour save GETS with that many mods.
  7. Wrye really isn't designed for use with Skyrim. It's barely supported. Likewise, BOSS hasn't been updated for over two years! use LOOT. I'd recommend reading a more up to date guide on how skyrim modding works ;)
  8. You would probably benefit from reading a beginner's guide, such as this one. Read the mod descriptions to see what mods are compatible with each other, and which aren't. I repeat, READ MOD DESCRIPTIONS. Also, when you go to download a mod make sure you go to the 'files" tab to see what optional files there are! One thing none of those will cover: Hoth comes with a UFO patch plugin. You must delete that plugin after you install it because you are not going to (and should not!) use UFO. Rather than using each individual patch, use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71214/? . It contains some fixes the individual patches do not and never will. Some mods may need to be updated to use that; there's a script that will do it for you: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71316/?
  9. You can't use the frostfall-hunterborn patch with Frostfall 3.0. The game will crash after the bethesda logo. No amount of cleaning will fix that. What you CAN and SHOULD do is use the hunterborn-campfire patch. Then everything will be fine and dandy and butterflies and survalism. This was covered pretty clearly in Frostfall's compatability section. I recommend reading it before continuing.
  10. Ah good, firefox. I don't know the instructions for Chrome but here they are for FF: Go to options > Applications > scroll down to where it says "nxm" and then click on it and select "use nexus mod manager". If nexus mod manager isn't already listed, click "use other", then browse to where nexus mod manager.exe is, and select it. (If you are using Mod Organizer, the instructions are the same but you would set it to use nxmhandler.exe).
  11. When you ran loot, did you hit the "sort" button (it looks like three bars, at the top left), and then the "apply" button? Because that load-order is not loot-sorted. You also need a bashed patch and probably a TES5edit merged patch too. bashed guide: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36189/? merged patch guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtLolEgVMTg You have a lot of mods installed. Do you have the SKSE memory fix enabled (have you set up skse.ini) and have you verified it with Memory Blocks Log? You will probably also want ENBoost memory fix installed as otherwise Skyrim can't use more than 3.1 GB of RAM and VRAM.
  12. Why would you delete the backup? That's your uncleaned masters, it's good to keep them around. But yeah, you'll want to put the cleaned esms into either your data folder or into a folder in MO.
  13. You have save bloat son. Maybe check out one of the save game script cleaners?
  14. That's your saved FISS preset for bathing in skyrim settings. As long as you keep the folders its in the same (so it's always in skse\plugins\fiss) you can move it wherever you like.
  15. Probably easiest to just run LOOT again. Crash right after bethesda logo, as you no doubt realized from googling it, means you have a missing master (or a daughter plugin is loading before its master). If you put EnableDiagnostics=1 in skse.ini under general, it will tell you what is missing. Quickest way to upload load order, for future reference, is modwatch: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56640/?
  16. Solution: Grab the update for the skyproc patcher, or if there is none for the mod, don't use that mod.
  17. Optional files of Apachii SkyHair. ALWAYS go to the files tab and look for the optional files.
  18. It looks like those are actually missing textures. My guess is that you have a texture mod, like Ruffled Feather Pack, that edits those textures... but it didn't get installed correctly. Try reinstalling that mod and any other landscape texture mods you have.
  19. Ah, sorry I didn't respond sooner! You can get those files back without having to re-download the whole game! In steam, right click on Skyrim, go to "local files" and "verify integrity of game cache." It'll scan for which files you're missing and download just those. In the future, simply create a new mod... So here's MO"s secret - all those "mods" are just windows folders associated with MO. You can navigate to them using windows explorer and it's a LOT easier to move stuff around. So you'll want to go to mod organizer/mods using windows explorer, create new folders and name them for each of your cleaned masters and one for the bashed patch, and then move everything from your "update" folder into the appropriate folder. Then refresh MO (there's a button in the top left or you can restart it). It should immediately recognize what you've done and you'll have all the new mod folders you need. They'll automatically go to the bottom of the list so you'll have to drag them into the correct location. Hope that helps! Good luck.
  20. Yup. You should read the Frostfall changelog and the new description. The hunterborn patch will need to be updated: you cannot use with the 3.0 version of Frostfall. Please, in the future, do not update mods without first reading what changed in the update! Many updates will break save games or require special care in order to work properly. You likely will have to start a new game now. Likewise, it is unwise to uninstall any scripted mods in the middle of a playthrough. That also will break your save game.
  21. Aww... We should be able to get your old game to load... assuming you didn't change anything besides SKSE and ENB! Those memory fixes *shouldn't* cause it to not load... It's really disappointing to lose an old game. ENB doesn't stand for anything by the way ... I think it's the initials of Boris's favorite childhood anime character or something. But basically what it is, is a number of bugfixes and graphics enhancements that can occur outside of the main skyrim engine. I've written more detail about that here. You can use the bugfixes without the graphics enhancement (which is ENBoost), and it's a great stability increase for basically everyone. STEP is a really great guide for using MO. If you're determined that save is a loss and you want to make the switch, I also prefer this guide. It's a bit simpler than STEP because it doesn't give you a long list of mods to install along with all the instructions, which is good if you already know what you want to install and you just need to know how to make it work properly!
  22. SKSE memory patch and ENBoost. http://wiki.step-project.com/Skyrim_Script_Extender http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost#Recommendations
  23. If it crashes after the bethesda logo it is a missing master. No ifs, ands, or buts. You should create an SKSE.ini following these instructions. Add to that skse.ini file, under [general], the line EnableDiagnostics=1. This will tell you what esp is missing when you crash.
  24. Merge plugins standalone is the way to merge mods, and I think the discussion in that thread I linked pretty well covers what can be merged with it and what can't be. It also has some very clear documentation included in the zip file in a pdf, which you should read (or at least skim) before use.
  25. Oy vey, that's a long modlist. I'm not going to go throught he whole thing right now, but I hope you were very careful when picking out mods to pick compatible ones. (For example... did you grab the CWO overhaul version of Immersive Patrols or the default one that you get when you use the download button at the top of the nexus page?) You may find this troubleshooting guide to be of some help. Not going to just paste the relevant portions here as I'm lazy, but I think it will help you figure out at least part of the problem.
