I found out the problem. Apparently Sim Settlements do not play nice with scrap everything and scrap dead. Removing those took away the lag. Weird

Hello,I'm trying to find out why my framerate is around 15-20 when going into Boston. I looked up all the technical issues online and Google and nothing works. Interesting though if I iron sight my weapon my frame rate goes up to 30 fps and when using a sniper scope it jumps to 55+ fps. I tried downloading boardless, lowering setting, but the problem still presist My specs are the following: 1080 TI i7 4790k 16 DDR3 Ram SSD My mod list is the following: 0 0 Fallout4.esm 1 1 Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp 2 2 Snap'n Build.esm 3 3 Thematic and Practical.esp 4 4 SettlementKeywords.esm 5 5 HUDFramework.esm 6 6 FFO.esm 7 7 Arbitration - When I first played Nukaworld and that guy who is using the blowtorch in the market told you there was a resistance group in [spolier] park, I was excited to think there was an actual quest line in dealing with the raiders. Unfortunalty that turned out to be what it turned out to be (being vague cause spoilers) and you ended up getting the open season instead. Seems like that was a miss opportunity to repopulate the park with traders

Question About Distant Building Color Clashing
ahnjd replied to ahnjd's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Hi thanks for the help. I turned up everything and it was notiably lowered (Still some flickers here and there) Although I do get this weird effect. For example I scrapped the broken house in Sanctuary and from a distance, it looks to still be there, but getting close, it disapears as it should not be there. Is this something I just need to deal with? The only LOD mod I am using is FAR atm -
Hi there, is there a mod to fix distance buildings from having their color clashing? What I mean by this is when you look at a building from a distance, it will start flickering between two colors, but once you get close, it will return to normal.
-
This may be a silly question but will the characters have 360 movement like in Fallout 4 or will it be like Skyrim where when you back petal you have your back turned to the screen

tales from the commonwealth - how to start?
ahnjd replied to Deleted38767805User's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
This mod is very organic with the game. From what I have seen so far, there isn't a big quest, but several mini quest that you will just so happen to stumble in. The voice acting is very professionally done, you will do a double take in some of these quest thinking Bethesda put them in. One of the many quest starts right outside of Diamond City across the bridge of the crashed ship. You will see a bar called "Saints" -
Hello, I just re downloaded F4 and modded it up, however, the load time when starting a new game seems to be taking forever. I have tried several stuff life the advice from this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/377160/discussions/0/412446890550175453/?ctp=5 and disabled the cloud sync, however, nothing is working. Is there a work around?
-
It was for the entire 900 series, although the 980 GTX did get the full 4 GB. Still for some weird reason, Newegg gave me a 30 dollar in credit.
-
No, it was jab at Nvidia for marketing the 970 GTX with 4 GB VRAM, but what the consumers actually got was 3.5 GB VRAM http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2016/07/nvidia-offers-30-to-gtx-970-customers-in-class-action-lawsuit-over-ram/
-
Think more like 1080 GTX and probably will say something about 1080 TI. Just a speculation. Edit: Funny comment on the page asking how big the mod will be. (3.5 GB)

You can find it in his all in one http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/15842/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D15842%26preview%3D&pUp=1

Ha, funny you made this post because I just wrote an idea in the thread below (Irony of Post War America) Not so much of a story idea, but it can affect the Commonwealth to make It more dynamic and add an artificial Kama System. I found it some what disappointing that your actions up until the end really didn't affect the game (I guess that is the story aspect) It's just a copy/paste from that post. Where in Fallout 4 you no longer have a Karma system might as well wait for modders to make a mod to simulate the problems of society you will create. The drug idea I had kicking around is make a certain type of drug (psycho, jet, etc) and you supply the wasteland. The negative of doing this is the more you make of that type of drug, the less they will be worth if you sell too much at one time. In order to have the price go back up, you need to either sell out of the area or wait couple of days until people need their fix again. In addition, flooding a certain area with a certain type of drugs, say you mass produce Psychos and send most of your shipment to Diamond City, the NPCs will start exhibiting the symptoms of psycho and become aggressive where the Diamond City security will "have to arrest them" in the same way they arrested that one bloke who pulled a gun (insert some kind of spoiler) However, by creating a specific type of drug, you can earn enough points (affinity or some other type of measurement) to start branding a drug where you can sell for a higher value. These drugs you can still flood the market and will eventually but because they are branded, the time to wait till the price resets will be lowered. By doing this, you can turn your settlements into meph (I guess in this case Jet) factories having a caravan system of drug mules that will also earn caps. Coverting your settlement into a Jet Lab will increase the unhappiness of that settlement (due to long hours, fumes or whatever your role play needs can justify it.) Also if you sell drugs to your settlements, expect the same results to happen with the Diamond City example. This in turn will cause other drug barons to try and take you out of business by sending their gang to attack you personally or attack a settlement that is producing drugs. You in turn can "capture" (in the same way how you capture and extracted information from an actual Drug Mission in Game) to find where the gang hideout is and put them out of business. When taking over a gang hideout you can blow everyone's brains out and loot, find a drug formula they branded and make your brand, or find the head chemist and have him become a unique NPC boosting your drugs. On the flip side you can try to be someone to tries to cleanse the Wasteland of drugs like a sudo Followers of the Apocalypse. You have your towns make drugs that cures addictions and try to assist people who do have addictions. (This also will bring fresh new faces into the settlement) This will give you artificial Karma points, but will make your settlements happy. The people who are not happy will be the Drug Barrons and they will send out people to try shutting you down. Same process, stop them, blow up base, etc.

Well there are plenty of those, except the bourgeois is the post war tend to work for an organization the usually deal with death. From Gun Runners, NCR, Diamond City Guards, to the Triggerman, they are what is considered in Fallout standard the middle class due to having a steady income that gives them disposable income (who wants a to go a Jet Party?!) Speaking of which (not to hijack this thread) I always thought it would be fun to have a mod where you could impact the economy of the wasteland and a sub to the karma system. Probably not, but one can dream xD

The biggest powers in the wasteland tend to be those who run Caravans. They are considered to be the Bourgeois class. Every state like entity in the Wasteland (probably with the exception of Enclave because they don't really tell how they get their resources) like the NCR, like Caesar Legion and even in Fallout 4 the settlement you run and Bunker Hill, the people who have the money (or caps in this case, just another form of intrinsic value that honestly is no different than the dollar bills in our pockets today in principle) are the regional power. Post war consumerism is no different than pre war, just the priorities are different. People will pay more money for clean water over dirty water, more for an assault rile than a pipe rifle, etc.

I don't know personally, but you can try reaching out to content creators on youtube for this answer. One of the best content creator that uses Fallout 4 for his/her parody is UpIsNotJump. Below shows one of his works (Rick and Morty parody) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6znkK4in3Wo

I think its because it is a Bethesda platform for mods, meaning if Bethesda sanctioned having such a platform, one would believe they would try to work with the mod in order to make it the best platform possible. Instead, the "Officially Sanctioned Mod Platform" show Bethesda had has a pocket full of Fks and few to give.

[Mod Rel] BREXIT CELEBRATORY FLAGS!

Soon you may need to make a Union Jack without the St. Andrew and St. Patrick Cross. -
Hold on, is the term "God Howard" actually used in a non-derogatory fashion by some people? I always thought people called him "God Howard" because, you know, if there is a God, he clearly doesn't give a damn about what he created, and is laughing at how we are tearing each other to pieces, while he just gets worshiped blindly, and grows more powerful, despite having creating an utterly flawed product that he abandoned the second after it was built. If Todd Howard was a God, I would think he would be a God in a sense how you appear to be a God in "The Sims" Game. God Howard builds a great looking pool for you to go into, but once you are in, Todd will then delete the pool ladder and let hilarity ensue.

Overwatch on B.Net. Not B.Net own by Blizzard, B.Net owned by Bethesda. Go Sue. Will that work?
-
Kind of funny because Blizzard is on a rampage to try cleansing Overwatch p0rn on the internet. http://www.cnet.com/news/blizzard-trying-to-crack-down-on-overwatch-porn/ I wonder how Blizzard would react knowing their IP was being place on Fallout 4. In the past Bethesda can turn a blind eye stating they had no control over it. Now that Bethesda.net is sanctioned by Bethesda, I wonder if they thought about this risk.
