If you can then just treat the comment with the contempt it deserves, it may be a throwaway comment that she's forgotten about already. That said if it does escalate then it maybe it would be worth speaking to someone in authority, the odd comment is easy enough to dismiss but if becomes regular then it's not something you should have to put with. Yeah, well its my 3rd week starting tomorrow so i'll see how it goes, hopefully it was just a joke that backfired, maybe I take myself too seriously Dweedle, you shouldn't worry too much about what she said or what she is going to say in the coming days, weeks, semester...whatever the case. You have to be the one actually noticing, that such a meaningless and narrow minded stereotype, has to leave your mind almost instantly. You know yourself better then they do, so what she or others say, is irrelevant. You can't be sure about the accuracy. Wherever a number is accurate or not depends on the group of individuals...and damn, males are everywhere and fashion different things. It's a bit of a problem here since this can happen daily and almost everywhere. So, just in case, prepare yourself for more. It's sadly unavoidable. You have no reason to put yourself into the statistics at all, especially if you know what kind of person you are. Girls, females and woman thinking that they know everything about males is a myth, especially when they equalize stereotypes...oh and trust me, this happens more then you think it does. Instead of blabbering nonsense, someone has to engage actively into the situation under given circumstances, making sure that it's not like the numbers are telling. That there are exceptions...more exceptions then you know and are aware of. Sure, there's always a majority and they don't apply, but hey, that's irrelevant. I also strongly advise to stay away from woman who think that they are the center of everything. The possibility exists and it's more than obvious, that such individuals don't really know anything about males, at least not the exceptions...generally, most of the males get degraded like Jim said...could it be because of a bad experience? Because they lack words and/or ways to communicate with each other to avoid misunderstandings? Could it be because they think that everything is revolving around them? Not caring about anything else then themselves and how they should be treated? That's merely a selfish person, obviously. Incapable of putting things on a scale and making it equal, not realizing that there's much more behind a person then the look itself. It's a sad thing but hey...nobody's perfect. Who knows...such individuals aren't really sure in what they want and even if they do, they are just as narrow minded as anyone else on such a matter. Honestly, not much can be done about that, it's either on you, feeling and being humiliated from such stereotypes or the opposite...not care at all about what they are spewing about you. I'd suggest the second, just avoid such people generally. If you can, that is. Point is, stereotypes are everywhere and it's hard to root them out.

I wish i could help you more, but i have no clue how your gonna change the settings further to make use of the 2.0b shaders. I hope there is somebody who knows more about it and can solve your issue.

Its always a good idea to have more than one bashed patch available for the mods because you can always return to your favorite settings from back then when the game ran smoothly and without too many CTD's. Try to combine and look into it further, i believe there must be a setting that will allow a somewhat smoother gameplay and wont CTD so often.

I recenlty read a thread that the use of pixel shaders 3.0 has its limitations for oblivion because they are broken in some way and arent implemented very well into the engine itself, its like a version between 2.0 and 3.0! I was searching a bit more but cant really recall the thread where i found that information, it contained a huge mass of input specifically pointed how it is possible to correctly edit the settings inside the ini file without breaking the graphics and make a use of pixel shader 3.0. Anyway i believe that there arent any major changes in between the single shader versions, the only difference is the speed of execution inside the code. Pixel shader 2.0 can have 512 pixel shader instructions per render pass and i believe i can recall that they said that Oblivion uses only 480 per frame. So even with ps 3.0 oblivion could not render the amout of shader instructions per pass because its a limitation of the engine itself. There could be a few minor changes that could affect some surfaces, but im not really sure if those changes would be noticeable.

Can you remember the mods you added before cause it seems that some of them you recenlty added and didnt integrated into the bashed patch are making trouble and/or are causing compability issues or they could have placed themselves under the bashed patch, wich would in the end edit the patch itself and change the whole list again. Try to make a few backups of the bashed patch when you start to merge the mods. Also try some combinations and see if there are more or less CTD's after applying and activating another bashed patch, after all you can always safe a backup of it to spare yourself anymore trouble by working and merging huge amounts of mods that are all active in your load order. To remind you and others, Cobl is pretty sensitive to any changes and could also cause trouble if you recently added cobl to your mod list, especially if any other huge overhauls are activated like FCOM.

The bashed patch will change and recompile every active mod in your load order that you currently run in wrye bash. If you delete a bashed patch that contains information from your current load order i suggest you make a backup of it first if that bashed patch worked for you. By adding mods and activating them in wrye bash, you need to rebuild the bashed patch every time if some of the added mods contain information and change one or more of the same things in oblivion. Basically to answer your question, bashed patch is the only thing that will keep all your stuff glued together and trying to combine, merge and edit stuff to make it work. Random CTD's are a common issue, the question is if you edited something else and not only the bashed patch, cause it actually should work if you activated the backup of it you mentioned before.

Guess i didnt looked at that particular part of the list cause i dont use many of the listed mods, but anyway glad that it works now! Stay tuned.

You can remove the water in CS: Open the worlds tab on the upper bar of the CS, then go to the specific cell, click on it, then you will see in the first window option "has water", just uncheck the box and you wont have anymore water inside of it. It cant be more simple.

You cannot upload a mod that cant be reused anymore in any way, the only thing you can do is to put into your mod description that you dont want that other people use any of your material in their mods. About bought material, i pretty sure its against the rules to distribute anything that has been bought, even if its legally done, you cant convert things from other games, even if they are cancelled, the owners still have all the rights reserved about the material. Honestly i dont think you could upload the material even if you have a written permission from the original authors, so im pretty sure its a "no go" here!

Im not sure about it, can you tell me if you run obse through the shortcut and placed the plugin correctly into your folder? It seems like the files are misplaced. Try to reinstall obse again and see if that will help you! About your load order, there isnt much to say, at least i cant see anything that would corrupt the game (except the UOP, wich cause me for example a lot of trouble, and a lot of other users as well) or some mods that have compability issues. Correct me if im wrong, but isnt obse v19 still in the testing phase? Anyway try first to reinstall obse. Maybe it will work then...

There are a couple of mods that change the detect life shader like this one with a red shader, or this multicolored shader mod - > More Colors or this one, called X-ray vision shader - > x-ray shader. There are many more, just type "detect life" into the search engine and you can try to find some shaders that suits you. I personally dont know if there is any pulsing shader but try your luck.

Do aliens exist? All that we know for now that nobody has any hard facts to support any theories revolving around aliens, abduction theories, E.T visitors, etc. People believe what they want to believe, thats all we need to know about it! I cant recall any event in my life like seeing strange lights, hearing noises, sensing strange presences when being somewhere that i couldnt just simplify, making a rational and reasonable explanation out of it, knowing that it hasnt anything to do with any aliens! I have seen a fair lot of pictures, videos, movies, books, blogs and other stuff that revolves around aliens and things connected to them, and i still cant tell if they exist like most of the folks imagine them. Generally speaking of the little green men, grays, lizard people and other related E.T.-lings i somewhat doubt they look like that. Have aliens visited us? The most intriguing thing is what happened around the cold war, when soviet russia and the US were having a war around who of them will have the better equipment... Since the Roswell incident things where going around, and some may see it only as a cover up for the cold war, but not in a sense to cover the war up literally, only the intentions that this "maybe" man made incident, was only here to mislead a whole country of thinking that the other one werent doing anything to spy on them, to check for new tech and else. The military stated that they recovered a experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon belonging to a classified program named "Mogul", This would even more support the theory that it had something to do with the upcoming cold war, and to spy on another country. And we still dont have any proof of alien visitors... The last two questions are somewhat questionable in my opinion, cause like i said, people believe what they want to believe, and let them think what they want to think! We still dont have any hard facts... Do i believe in any of this? That doesnt really matter to me anyway. If they are really here, why making any hassle around it anyway... That would be the most normal thing in the universe!

It seems that the add is malfunctioning, cause when going to tesnexus.com for example, the redirect stops to execute, meaning it wont redirect if your not logged into the site. Anyway, after logging in, nothing causes any trouble it seems, and maybe some browsers seem to have issues with the redirect stopping and not forwarding to the link from before. Could be a minor issue though.

Should government not hide informations from us? It really depends from the situation and what kind of information is being hidden and locked up. Some goverments hide information to protect there own nation with best intentions, others may do it on a similar, not very visible and obvious way of misleading the people with information that is false or in any other way just common intentional disinformation, wich can lead into inconclusive facts and statements and finally leading people into a misunderstanding of the same thing. There are so many reasons that speak for it and at the same time so many reasons against revealing the truth, in this case any reliable information(i cant be really specific since i dont know what matter and situations it involves here) Do remember that most people are afraid of the truth, and i am certain that this is the majority in almost every country around the world, cause if it would be the other way around, we certainly would not debate it here. Thing is... the goverment is the one in that controls the flow of informational output, and they will at the very end decide if they want to release anything reliable, not mentioning that chaos and terror would break loose after such a release (wich i believe, would be a much more common case than to just accept it).

Sounds like another mod is conflicting or you are experiencing the usual issues when trying to install a heavily scripted mod. Is this happening only with deadly reflexes or do you have any issues also with other mods too? Have you the latest patch for Oblivion installed? Have you read the requirements for deadly reflexes? All this and many more things can break the game if you dont follow the instructions properly.

The specs so far seem more than good enough to run oblivion on this pc, only thing you didnt mention is the graphics card you posses and of course for such a rather common question you can view and read the requirements on many sites throughout the internet. I played Oblivion before on a rather old and decent rig (P4 - 2.7GHz single core(OC from 2.4 to 2.7), 1.25GB RAM, radeon X1650PRO-AGP8X) without too many issues and fps lags on medium to high settings with an average of 35-45FPS ingame. Now i play it all on high with an another CPU(AMD) with 1MB L2cache (old P4 had 512kB and the fps drop was noticeable when fights and more npcs where inside a cell) without having the old FPS drops inside and outside a crowded cell, 2GB RAM and a 7600GT on PCI. So yes its fairly playable and you can help your system with many mods here to increase the framerate a lot more without lowering the settings too much.

The tendency that a child will become violent and problematic at a certain age depends on the environment where it lives. Potentially, every child could turn violent, the problem lies somewhere deeper inside and though it seems hard to root it completely out. Another thing is that humantity itself is a violent barbaric race (wich we have whitnessed many times throughout history, and still further counting as one). Do video games make children violent? Yes and no! Like i mentioned before, the environment is a huge factor here, not to mention the genes (we can hardly change that part of ourselves), the storys parents are telling their children at a certain age (this may be extreme, but dont you think that the part in the story "Little red riding hood" where the hunter "opens" the wolf is not violent? I dont know if anybody is seeing it my way, but it has a certain form of violent character attached to it) ect. Nobody can really know whats happening in the mind of our and someone elses children or how they take and percipiate such scenery of violence, blood, even the normal life, video games, cartoons and else. Fact is, that all this and many other factors are certainly playing a huge role and raising the overall potential that a child will sooner or later become violent itself. And video games are also an almost "daily" raising factor in this situation.

The question is whats the cost/benefit and the balance of a multiplayer implementation into the game, and would it totally ruin the game experience or would it jump into new levels? Reminding that TES4 was going through a multiplayer testing application (if i may refer to this application in such way). you can see the results of it. On the other hand, the TES world was always a single player experience for the individual and i think they should keep it like that. Cooperative gameplay would be a nice addition in my opinion, it could even provide the support for modifications (remembering the shooter Unreal Tournament as best example), the only thing thats questionable, is it worth the hassle? Everyone that would like to play on someones server needs to have the exact same mods, allthough idk if there is any other way around it, since they need to be syncronized at every level (or maybe not? Correct me if im wrong). To get back to it, i would rather say NO to a multiplayer integration. Lets hope they will put all the efforts to make the game a new eye candy, wich would not be very helpful and dissapointing (cause of the huge amount of data that would need to be transfered, and not everyone has a flat-rate or limitless internet availability) when clicking on the "connect to server" button!

I suggest that you remove everything that has something to do with wrye bash first, the Python MSI, the wxPython libraries and any other applications that use them. Then you need to find stable(mostly) versions of Python that can run on your OS. That also depends on your OS you are currently using, cause you cant install just any version of Python on any OS, mostly because of the different bit versions of it(32/64). Now according to that, DL and install the according version of Python on your pc, the link is here. When you manage to find the matching versions of both the MSI and the WX libraries, wrye bash wont be a big deal anymore, and dont forget to install the runtime library of C++ before everythin i just said, if it isnt allready on your pc. Reboot after every install you make, then try to install wrye bash. If you have any more questions regarding to this, folks are always around to help. The most issues about Python and wrye bash are that the single versions of each applications are not matching the same numbers (at least i think that this is causing the most trouble, but it could be something else too)!
