  1. Enhanced Enemies and SkyTweak. Enhanced Enemies make it so you can add offensive or defensive stats as you see fit, further tweaking the difficulty. With SkyTweak I customised the difficulty of encounter zones. I made Easy a bit harder, medium somewhat tougher, hard > really tough, and extrahard is superdifficult. This means that Bosses are super difficult but I still run into easy to kill wolves. I love the way you can tweak it. I also added some hard HP (non %) to every NPC. Worked wonders on the early levels to make it just a tad more interesting. Today I fought a Dwarven Centurion, felt like Dark Souls! Really exciting battle :)
  2. Yeah looks like you need to go to SSE forum. Looks like the remodeled armor CBBEv3M though.
  3. Never tried Frea as a follower, maybe cause I never liked the the main quest of this DLC. Dunno. So you are right, maybe she is underrated...
  4. Seems to be called Narandil, a follower. In the screenshots you can see the outfit. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81373/ The outfit seems to be made specifically for the character if you read the description.
  5. Unique uniques and Immersive weapons perhaps?
  6. Valid points, thread necromancer ;-) . Let's all hope we get more lively behaviour in TES6. That said, adding to steamteck's post, the work EtherealCoder is doing is amazing... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/users/6701478/?tb=mods&pUp=1
  7. With the technical limitations at the time , I think they did alright. And mods have picked up where Beth couldnt make it. 3DNPCs, Inconsequential NPCs and Immersive citizens fill a definite gap and make the world much more alive. Together with the expanded town and mods, you get a really good result. Hopefully Beth will take this knowledge for Tes6. Have a bunch of filler NPCs, and make them less interactive. Not anyone wants to talk to you. You could make it very believable. I do think Skyrim feels small *after* your first playthrough, but sometimes I notice this also comes with too much fast travelling, and certain routes are enforced. When I go into the hills and nooks there is often a surprising find of new content, even after my 5th playthrough. However, I would suggest making the map bigger for TES6, but just concentrate the action / story elements around certain places. So a nice handholding for new players, but also cater for more hardcore players who like to wander and get lost..
  8. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25259/? Most likely it is this one, or very close to the same effect.
  9. Wow metaforce, thank you for putting in the time to share your loadout, much appreciated. I've downloaded ASIS and a few from your list. Is Java safe these days? Friends told me Java was kind of security risk... Ill be installing a few of these equipment mods I think as well!
  10. Its indeed a tintmask problem. I believe you have to remove the tintmask folder for a bit, when exporting your character in CK. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81561/? This seems to be an ok Tutorial to follow.
  11. This one might be interesting to follow. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/81561/? (maybe turn off music) I made one or two. I can only say to follow steps to the letter. Good luck!
  12. I've been gone long from Skyrim. The hair issue is a setting in NifSkope I believe. Did you use any tutorials?
  13. Longlordone : thank you for your reply. Looking at the mods right now! Metaforce : A character that uses mostly one handed. I do switch from shield, to magic to archery, depending on the type of foe / terrain. But one handed is the main weapon. I dont mind upping the difficulty as I progress.
  14. Changing follower frameworks mid-game can be kind of a mess. In my first play I did this and gave the kind of trouble you describe. I use EFF and it should be able to return the clothes to any character...
  15. > I saw UFO on that list , its outdated (tech wise) and I prefer EFF. > Also I prefer quicklight. It's superlightweight mod. Just tab E for a bit longer to toggle light. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73473/?
  16. After a hiatus (since you can never quit Skyrim) I have installed all my fav mods. There have been quite a few combat overhauls I've noticed. Things that make the system a lot different. Any advice on which one are good combinations? Any advice or experience welcomed! May the quests be with you!
  17. Thanks Bro! I am gonna try a strict mage playthrough. I think I went to creation kit once and modded the deer speed a bit, for extra difficulty :)
  18. Thank you for replying to your own thread, but it's netiquette to add your answer to your thread, so if it ever becomes archived and googled, people will not be left hanging without answer. So what is the answer you found?
  19. Not everything you ask is possible with the following mod , but : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69660/? "Do you know who I am?", does a lot of these things. (Recognise Dovakin) Plus http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23390/? Guard Dialogue Overhaul
  20. I think the nag message probably comes from papyrus,so maybe someone could tweak the original Mod to remove the warning. This is my limited modding knowledge speaking though ;-)
  21. you can run as many mods as you like but the plugin's ( esp and esm ) limit is same as skyrim i.e 255. nothing has changed in this department fallout 4 has the same limitation. But merging remains a possibility, correct?
  22. It very likely that old mods will work. It has already been said by Beth that most mods will work. What we are assuming is that they mean the ones that don't depend on libraries like SKSE / MCM and so forth.
  23. I've been looking at the video's, the models didnt seem to be updated, I think it will just be the shader/render system that will get the overhaul... But maybe the capability will be there. Maybe they will release it with the new havok system, that is a real possibility, since they will publish this with a newer 64-bit engine, no doubt sourced from FO4.
