I have A Feathered Friend - A Skyrim Short Story installed ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/83232/? ) Allthough I am level 32 I havent started ityet. But the writing seems great.

Use LOOT. It seems you got your mod order really messed up. Missing stuff in game means just that : the files aren't there. So this could be load order issue OR wrong installation. OR you turned off mods during a playthrough and Skyrim cant find dependencies. You cant just turn off certain mods during a playthrough. It must be one of these three things AFAIK.

Well, I was with Celebor yesterday, the snow elf. As a witnessing survivor I loved what he had to say about the falmer / Betrayed and the Dwemer. Too bad we don't see more of the snow elves in Skyrim.

I also had trouble with AFT in the past. Both UFO and AFT are simply not as advanced as EFF (As I read in a thread made by a programmer) So I use EFF. There is a fix button in EFF. Be careful though, changing these kinds of mods mid game could break your game. Try reset follower count "Set followercount to 0" Use the disable / enable console command. Wait 31 days. If it doesnt work the only true never fail method sofar has been to use the recycleactor command. However this will also break their quest status, so don't do this with Serana in the Dawnguard quest for instance. It will break... If they are ordinary followers, you'll be fine.

Depends on the mod though. Something like texture mods can be safely uninstalled. Scripted stuff and dependencies are indeed much more dangerous. As such I wouldnt disable USLEEP.

Hahaha, well if it works! I use EFF, all the other follower mods bug the hell out at some point for me. Still if it happens to best way (if set followercount doesnt work) is to use "recycleactor" , it completely resets them *WARNING* it also resets their quest level and so on. But it works... Highmachinegun : the combat state sometimes resets the follower yes.

EFF allows you to change the nickname of a follower. No need for CK :)

My game is pretty stable. Had one CTD and I am LvL 31 now. My computer is not that good, i7 / 8Gb / with HD Radeon 6xxx series. PS I also use SKGE instead of ENB.

Wow, it's still active. hard to believe people still love skyrim this much. I know, it's amazing! It's in beta testing

I would compartmentalize the installation. 1) First only install textures > check FPS 2) Install ENB > check FPS in Riften area 3) Install mods that add stuff (like city expansions,SMIM, grass and so on) > FPS check Than you know where it happens. Skybirds was a total drain on my PC, but that was an older version. But never installed it again.

Also remember that Beyond Skyrim is nearing completion. Allthough I assume it will work on both Skyrim's.

Maybe a Radiant Quest? Those are pooled from certain locations. So since you didnt take Sybille's quest, the game throwed the dice and re-used Pinemoon. That must be it I think.

Considered any quest mods? There are a few that are pretty good. Maybe one of these Horror mods...cant think of a name atm (sorry) I take it you already have Hunterborn and so on?

I'm on Win 7 / 8Gb / 2GB Good but kinda old HD Radeon. If I can manage to play without CTDs, so can you. You learn to work with the memory problems Skyrim has. Usually I do a quick play and keep adding mods and test for stability (By entering exiting Whiterun, do a good fight etc) . Only then I start playing for real. A big problem is adding mods when you do your real playthrough. (I know its tempting!)

I always say you should consider decisions on what is here *now* . So if you really want all the bells and whistles that have been made since 2011, Legendary is the way to go right now. If you wait, yeah, things might be great when SKSE64, but its a big project, so who knows when it hits, and as you mention yourself, that all the mods you love get ported? So if you really like what you see go and want it today, go Legendary. And, if a lot of mods do get ported to SSE+SKSE64, then you can look forward to playing that in the future, since you already own it.

^^^ What Ishara said. Most people install ENB drivers and then pick an ENB that suites there taste. Because I have a slow computer I use SKGE , http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75954/? Gives a lot of options without sacrificing FPS. Imaginator for the final tweaks.

If you have immersive citizens you might not need "Run for your lives" I think Immersive Citizens covers that. As far as I know I see no mods that would interfere with dmg manipulation. But you never know. Could be something in there.

It's not possible to change the terrain outside of the Creation Kit. So that would be a no...

What organizer do you use? Does it happen without the flora overhauls? Can't help much, but different colors have different meanings I believe (black, blue, purple)

I would look into CCOR and Immersive Jewelry (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64283/?) . It adds so much to the game and they have a lot of economy mod dependencies. You could also add Jobs of Skyrim that can help you make a bit of money at the start. Definitely add SkyTweak to your game, it allows you to tweak your own stats plus those of merchants. I once played as an NPC, so I debuffed my offensive skills with SkyTweak. I had to walk with patrols if I wanted to go anywhere else, that was fun. Also there are several economy and properties mod, but I am not well versed in those. Alternate Start would probably be a good mod as well, but has been buggy in my playthroughs. Let me know what you figure out yourself.
