  1. Splendid words my friend, absolutely darling. Now, since I'm in a Wilde mood today allow me to share with you my absolute favorite scene of the play "The Importance of being Earnest" "Algernon. All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his. Jack. Is that clever? Algernon. It is perfectly phrased! and quite as true as any observation in civilised life should be. Jack. I am sick to death of cleverness. Everybody is clever nowadays. You can't go anywhere without meeting clever people. The thing has become an absolute public nuisance. I wish to goodness we had a few fools left. Algernon. We have. Jack. I should extremely like to meet them. What do they talk about? Algernon. The fools? Oh! about the clever people, of course. Jack. What fools!"
  2. Too true, Google is right. To stay on our pleasent topic let me simply add this : "Thsoe who find ugly meanings in beautiful things are corrupt without being charming. This is a fault. Those who find beautiful meanings in beautiful things are the cultivated. For these there is hope" Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Preface.
  3. "Le mystère de l'amour est plus grand que le mystère de la mort." Oscar Wilde

  18. "My Price" said the tall Altmer while looking at his nails with half open eyes, a big grin on his face "is no less than half of the share, loot, payment, or whatever you call it. I want half of it." And do know I can carry more than you think, a good pack mule is expensive, and I do not plan to carry burden on my back, 'twas designed for a higher cause; here is where my ancestral knowledge of the arcane comes to use, a magical transporter! He raised his head and looked at the Hag "Well if it's free, I'll have one. Let's hope it doesn't kill me".
  19. The High Elf is playing with his mug, pretending to be deeply focused on it, finally he takes a sip while listening to the two brutes not sitting far from him "Don't be foolish, you cannot master a troll by strength alone, you must set an ambush, use traps, stealth and magic. Although since I do not think Nords know anything about the latter, I am willing to aid you, although it comes with a price... And it won't be cheap" He said in a strong, controlling yet charming voice, allowing his tone and sharp wit to strengthen his words, give them precision and make them land on the opponents mind, like a charm, whilst still looking at his mug without even blinking, pretending not to care. "Who says ignorance is bliss, it'll provoke their curiosity, draw them in to accept the offer. In the end, more coin for me" he thought, letting a delicate yet hidden smile run through his lips.
  20. Well then, now it's my turn. My story begins as these stories often do, a Genius of a high elf named Corlan is born, raised by whom and how do not matter here, what he is does. A poet, bard and traveling minstrel, traveling around and inspiring with his sharp wit and strong words, not much like the usual traveling minstrel, our hero has Class, a blue blood with a well deserved wealth and an Ego even bigger than the number pimples on a teenagers face. Although not uncommon with the arts of Magic, the art favored by his ancestors, our hero prefers stealth, and remaining unnoticed whenever he's in trouble.
  21. If you save Aryan La Valette in the Prologue, you get the "Strong Back" ability which takes the maximum weight limit to 300.
