  1. Oh boy could a student christmas have a lucky day, instead of noodles.
  2. Hello! So I decided to pop a question about a specific hotspot of performance in FNV aka the Strip. So overall im relatively happy how my somewhat lightly modded (30 esps, No Enb, BethINI tweaks: Nothing fancy) New Vegas is running, But strip is somewhat giving me headaches by its fluxuating frame drops. Now its not unplayable by any means going around 40-60fps roughly. My question is as topic says: Are there ways to optimize it? Specifically on a modded FNV? I know its an unoptimized mess of an area and gamebryo is not exactly helping once you add ncm's textures and nv redesigned, but the mods availeble for Strip arent exactly yelling more performance for the area ( basically just different versions of Strip Open, which to my knowledge dont exactly help the performance ). Im just curious and I probably know what the answers will be, but it does not hurt to ask.
  3. 1. Could a endorsement view be an option for gallery? Ie you could view images you have endorsed seperately, kinda like viewing favorites in DeviantArt. 2. Mod Tracking centre(for mod updates) feels very hidden and seeing a mod you tracked is kind of hard now. Should they be showing in the "Tracked Content updates tab" ? Because any mods that im following aint there, only on updates plug on the top bar. 3. Game specific what you have downloaded would be super nice. The current one in the download history tab on the profile is very cluttered, or atleast option to show by game(Similarily how old thing handled it). Just my random saturday insane as sheogorath thoughts continue..
  4. Hi! So a new playthrough is looming in the distance, and im looking for mods that add that little spice for it. As the topic says im most interested in points of interest mods ( probably something like witcher 3: ? points of interest). Something that adds just that little bit of lore/treasure/point of interest in the game, just add that new feel of discovery in the game. The ones I could come up with are: Skyrims Unique Treasures http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12766/? Morrowloot 4E edition http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50740/? The Honored Dead http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52403/? (This has few issues, which im still wondering am I okey with them or not.. but it has the idea there would be gravesites/hanging bodies/dead bodies that tell a story in its own right what is going on in the world) But more would be great! Do you guys/girls have some favorites or hidden gems, that you could recommend?
  5. Some spooky stuff from Bethesda forums https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/refundpolicy It seems like wallet only refunds.. and this reddit post was quite funny what a mess!
  6. Is there a mod that changes the skeleton sounds bit more scarier? They currently feel so funny that im generally thinking of that the song one would be scarier ^^
  7. Found the solution, in skyrimprefs.ini fSplitDistanceMult what had been raised to 4.0000 from baseline of 1.0000(etc)to go against z-fighting had results of removing water lods completely. Had to be lowered to 0 fixing the problem.
  8. Hello! So a pretty straightforward question, is there any value/way besides ugrids in skyrimprefs.ini to increase the water draw distance or that can be added and increased similarely to grass/trees? Or do I have some value wonked in my game right now. http://imgur.com/7HVET1x First image is taken with the gameplay ugrids of 7, water has quite clear "end" where it stops loading the water which is quite disturbing in few places(the glaciers and big lake near riverwood are that parts where its an issue). http://imgur.com/v8Skkd2 Second image was taken with ugrids of 9 ( if I remember right or 11 ), it starts to "fade" abit more nicely, but gameplay suffers too much with such high ugrids value. I did a new game removing all the mods affecting lod/water and the problem persisted so it should not be related to any mod. Attached the skyrimprefs if anyone finds something troublesome from that. Thanks in advance!
  9. Hello! As the title says im looking for alternative gameplay overhauls besides PerMa/SkyRe as they are well.. bit daunting for a newer skyrim modder to first tackle on. So mods with "softer" curve would be great! I have somewhat enhanced my melee experience with mods such as Combat Evolved/Duel + planning to add Action combat, because Weapon Parrying and Counter Striking seem great additions to dual wield/2h combat in paper. So im generally looking for mods to enchance gameplay at sectors of magic, archery and stealth/rogueish. So the thing im worried is I have heard that magic seems to be wimpy at later levels on vanilla skyrim so how to enchance it? Same goes for stealth elements where it seems to be impossible to creep around undetected and doing stealthy kills, with areas having clusters of enemies. Im slightly worried that vanilla magic/stealth/archery arent working on the "slightly" steroid buffed npc:s that im having on my game who hit like small trucks.. even at lower difficulties. So im hoping for ways to enchance the slightly weaker playstyles! So far with I have found as potential candidates are: Simple Magic Rebalance, Immersive Detection of Npc ( seemed great at dungeons, but at daylight every wolf, troll and their counsins from narnia seemed to sense me with superman style xray visions.. no idea is it because enb/slightly higher ugrids or bit of everything ) and Path of Shadows. But what kind of setups are you using? Any recomendations/experience from said mods? Even to melee overhauls/Perks etc are welcome addition, what makes your combat fun in its every aspect? Thanks! And thanks for great mods community!
  10. Oops! Managed to fix the problem.. installing unofficial patches and particle patch seemed to do the trick!
  11. Hello! First post, so apologies for.. well bad english and probably doing something wrong.. Anyways I have this problem at Bleak Falls dungeon where the light beams have this solid even quite blocky shape(screen= http://i.imgur.com/DAmbTF9.jpg?1 ) and im bit uncertain how to make them softer/not so blocky. Allthought.. I have not found any other place that has such visible sunrays as the dungeon so cant confirm it happening elswhere. In the screenshot im using various mods, but im pretty confident that the culprit would be The Grim and Somber ENB (azura performance version) and I would need to change something in enbseries.ini, but what exactly I dont know. ( lighting mod is Relighting Skyrim by NovakDalton* but it is probably not the culprit after seeing problem occuring even when deactivating the said mod) But here is attached modlist and enbseries ( smc mods not listed ) hopefully someone knows how to fix it Thanks in advance and thanks for mod authors for incredible mods!
