  1. Some of the best mods that the original trilogy had you won't see for this one. The mod author pulled all his mods from here and stepped away from modding. Thanks Nexus. If you want to know why, look up Thane Mod and following the link that is on there. It will take you to his website with an explanation.
  2. I don't have game pass and don't want it. Microsoft isn't known for allowing mods in their games. I have only ever bought one game on the store and it was a freaking disaster so lesson learned. I don't care about Starfield, but if TES6 is an exclusive then I guess I won't be playing it. I'm hoping they don't make it exclusive or if it is, only a timed exclusive.
  3. I wasn't sure where to put this. I did a fresh install of skyrim and all the DLC's. Normally, when I'm reinstalling a bunch a mods I do few at a time then run a test to make sure there are no problems. I typically run 140-150 mods without issue. I had about 120 of those in last night and ran a test and things were working fine. This morning I installed a bunch of armor/clothing and a few custom followers. Everything I installed I used before I did a fresh install of skyrim without any problems. After I got the armors and followers installed, I did another test, but this time I noticed when I went to talk to Gerdur in Riverwood, There was no option to talk to her and all she said was "right". That was it. I then went to the Bannered Mare in Whiterun to run some other tests and when I got close to Hulda, she said, "Right". I tried to talk to her and wasn't able to. She only kept saying "right'". I then tried some other NPCs who I know use the Female Nord voice and they all did the same thing. It appears that every NPC in the game that uses that voice can no longer be interact with. I can't for the life of me figure out what would cause that. It must be a mod, but I don't see how a clothing/armor mod would cause that. I removed all the followers I put in and it still happens. Anyone have any ideas on where to look? Like I said, I have used all these mods before without issue. Update: Found the mod that was causing the issue. A custom follower mod was the problem. Ciri mod by Levionte. I was using it before I did the reinstall and it was working fine. Not sure why it's causing issues now. Removed the mod and all is well.
  4. I personally have no problems with mod author's charging for their work if that it what they want to do. I might even buy one if: - The mod author gets 100% of the money - Nothing in the mod contains resources gathered from outside. They must be 100% created by the mod author. - The mod doesn't rely on anything "Free" to run, ie, SKSE, SkyUI, ect. Unfortunately, none of that was the case when the mods went up for sale. Most of the mods I saw contained or required resources made by another modders. I have a feeling when we see the next fallout or skyrim if there is a creation kit, it won't be free and we will see the return of paid mods. The community will never be the same as it was before all this went down.
  5. I wonder how long it will be before we start seeing follower mods made with assets that were gotten by the modder for free and now they want to charge for the follower? I hope the modders of the custom hairs, skins, skeletons, and so forth don't allow anyone to use their assets in anything that is going to be a paid mod. I don't think i have read one good comment on any mod that has a price on it there..lol
