I think the reason why the hype is less about Beyond Skyrim (and other similar projects) is because it feels very distant. Close yet far, you know what I mean? While I'm EXTREMELY excited about this mod, I know it's going to be an awful long wait before it's done, and therefore I turn my attention to other mods in the meanwhile, but it doesn't mean I've forgotten about it.

I've used CBBE for ages, but only recently switched to UNP because of armor mods.
As for why there are so many different? Because there ARE major differencies, believe it or not. Now, I've no track of "porn mods", but I'd say the most common realistic shapes we're looking at are CNHF, CBBE, UNP and SevenBase, where Seven and CBBE are quite alike IMHO (and undoubtedly realistic (truth is, there are women out there with bodies like that)), UNP and CNHF both are a bit less "romanticised", less curves, more square and masculine (while UNP is more petite).
Whatever you choose in the end though is just a matter of personal tastes. I don't mind vanilla that much, and I've used CBBE by standard for options' sake, only switching now after almost 2 years because of desirable armour mods.
Bottom line is just "meh" imo, I don't really care.

Sure enough doable but as mod authors go, I doubt anyone would like the idea of being "pushed aside", and a mod like this would naturally require a heap of permissions.
It'd be nice though, if the Nexus could launch a "collection" system, like the Steam Workshop has, but I'm afraid as it is now, you're gonna have to make do with Steam's solution.

I dunno about runes though. I think they're pretty much useless as is. I'd rather have increased damage there :s

theres a mod im dying to find for months
its the bouncy breast while wearing armor or clothes lol but i cant seem to find it i've been looking everywhere any link guys :laugh:

Most likely because of mesh, there's only so much you can do with textures alone. I use AOF.

Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar and Lovely Hairstyles by sn00p are both of great quality and really well looking imho. Then there's Lore Styles Hair Set by MacKom, which is not entirely as top notch quality wise, but still beautiful.

I know a lot of these have a handful of endorsements and downloads, but regardless of that, I sincerely feel they're underrated. Hate all you want.

WoW robes are all just a dress mesh with different textures pasted onto them, it's easy to make but the low detail is gamebreaking imho; and while I agree that T5 lock is the awesomest most ultra giga$#%& cool armour ever designed, it's unfortunately not beautiful in the way it was delivered.

I just thought I'd chime in with CNHF - It's an alternative but ALSO, being a dedicated follower of Calyps on tumblr - I know that he's been asking people what they would like to see in CNHF next. Maybe hand in some solid examples? :smile: (also I think that his request on women opinions only is a tad misplaced, but I understand that he means to achieve a look which purpose is not only to attract men).

Anyone ever done this? I'm currently sort of stuck, I've heeded the following advice but keep ending up with a fancy error. Namely:
Character Making Extender Error Illigal 'Game Settings' value. conflict other Mod? Stop FaceGen system.
Please check load order and raise a priority of CharacterMakingExtender.esp
The only things I've found regarding this error message is about custom races, which is something I'm not using.
Any ideas?
Edit: I'd also like to mention that I'm getting my import to work on selected NPC, but then ECE completely quits affecting everything else (e.g. my own character and showracemenu sliders not usable).

You never NEED mods, but depending on what game experience you're looking for, there tons of alternatives.

You're right, the Imaginator is a good way to change easily contrast and saturation. The only flaw of this mod is his little FPS drop, because he change many other things.
All values are set to 0 by default; if you only change the desired value there shouldn't be any major loss. It's the price you have to pay for such a tool, no matter who develops it.
