Will TES V Use Kinect and/or Move?
stealtrecon replied to LegoManIAm94's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
All I can say is that its not likely that there will be any motion control for this game. -
I really like the meshes, they are looking good. I think we are going to need to design our own unique imperial architecture made for the swamp. I was taking a look at all of the architecture of each city and none of them seem to be exactly what we would want to use for stormhold or gideon. Perhaps we can discuss what we would like things to look like some more.

http://www.4shared.com/file/eLdi-Q4O/TWMP_BlackMarsh.html here is the updated blackmarsh esp. It has generated forestation, but only about 1/4 of the entire land I believe.

I'm currently generating the landscape with the regions editor in the CS. Its taking a while, but, I have time.

You nearly finished with any concepts at all? Can't wait to see them.

Sounds useful, but I don't think I plan on going into programming. I'd prefer to stay in the design field. -
I Will Be Going To Bethesda Studios To Meet The Developers

I'll keep in mind the perks idea, but I'd prefer to keep the combat system real time. I never really favored the idea of slowing down gameplay, not even in fallout. -

They won't make a province as a DLC, so set that out of your mind.

I changed the name of two cells so we have a general idea of where the locations are.
-
http://www.4shared.com/file/8duQckZz/TWMP_BlackMarsh.html That is the updated esp. It has two locations marked; Gideon and Stormhold.

You'll have to work with rhymer on getting those meshes textured the :D I'll still try and learn myself though, I've always wanted to learn how to make tilesets.

I'll be going to Bethesda in a month or two, depends on when my treatment ends. -
Good idea LHammonds!

Alright, since you already have meshes for that portion of black marsh feel free to work on it. I'm no master at texturing myself, so I'll probably have to study it on my own and learn how to texture meshes.

Anybody experience any trouble downloading from the student site at all?

Well, goes to show I don't know the difference between terms. Too much stuff out there to know, still so young. I'm seventeen by the way, so I have the right to be a little incompetent when it comes to hardware specs. -

The motherboard I chose has 12 channels. I'm using server hardware for workstations. I gave you links to all of the hardware. http://www.intel.com/products/workstation/processors/demo/demo.htm -
Yeah, not too hard since I know what it should look like.

I love it dude, you're more than welcome to join us. As I said in my first post you need to download the proper mod files since we will be starting from scratch. I'd like to announce that the first step in our little project will take place in Stormhold. If we can make a decent Stormhold and upload it, of course blocking off access to unfinished areas, we may get some good reviews with the mod. I'd also appreciate it if you use windows live messenger or some other form of messenger so we can stay in easy contact. my live id is [email protected]

Actually, for game design its not useless. AutoCAD and Animation programs require lots of memory, especially if you plan on using 6+ screens each running its own program. I've updated the computer to have 96 GB now. And this isn't a "lets not waste their money" topic, its a "lets build the most powerful and extreme computer possible for gaming and design" topic. :P
