  1. Vortex defaults to the 32bit version of The Sims 4 instead of the 64bit version. There is not a browse button available under the games edit path to select the 64bit version. The workaround I found was to add the 64bit version as a tool and make it primary to run it. This works but is not ideal and needs to be fixed.
  2. I am unable to select "NONE" in the Vortex settings under update it just stays on the stable settings. The program keeps updating to 13.5 from 13.3 that I am trying to use. The Sims 4 will not run under 13.5 It is not able to deploy mods. Yes I have sent in error reports. Anyone have any ideas so i can continue to use vortex till the Sims problem gets fixed whenever that happens to be?
  3. It would make it easier to figure out what mods you had already installed if you had not played in awhile. Having several hundred mods installed and trying to figure out if you had say all the armor mods you use already installed being able to just look at one section would be very useful. I still think Vortex should have a way to sort by mod type or category on the left hand side.
  4. I have had the same problem and reinstalling did not correct it.
  5. Some mods for the sims 4 require installation in the \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Tray folder rather than the Mods folder. Vortex installs everything into the Mods folder without checking if the mod contains a .tray or .blueprint file extension signifying it needs to go into the Tray folder. This means Vortex can not currently install Residence/Commercial lot mods.
  6. That worked thanks so much! I used add tool to add TexGenx64.bat containing the line TexGenx64.exe -sse and it ran from the dashboard super!
  7. Yes Steam is running vortex is running and SKSE64 is started from inside Vortex and mods that use SKSE64 are working as expected.
  8. Yes I have all the required files installed. Here is a link if anyone wants to try. http://forum.step-project.com/topic/13029-dyndolod-236-skyrim-se-beta-with-dynamic-lod/
  9. TexGen64.exe and DynDOLOD64.exe are not working in SSE with Vortex. I used Add Tool to add both programs to the dashboard of Skyrim Special Edition. Vortex and Skyrim Special Edition and DynDOLOD are installed on the same drive. I made sure to add the -sse switch in the Command Line section when setting up both programs so it would know it was running on Skyrim Special Edition not oldrim. When I run each program it throws and error saying it can't find oldrim directories and settings and then exits. Here is a copy of the error log [00:00:00.000] TexGen based on xEdit x64 starting session 2018-02-19 21:13:25[00:00:00.002] Using Skyrim Data Path: [00:00:00.004] Using ini: [00:00:00.006] Fatal: Could not find ini[00:00:02.882] Saving: Settings[00:00:02.885] Saving: Logs Since this is the exact same behavior you get if you fail to put the -sse switch into the command line when using mod organizer 2, I suspect that it is not seeing the -sse switch. Is anyone else having the same problem? Have I missed something? Does anyone have a work around?
  10. Run all 3 in administrator mode works Vortex.exe skse64_Loader.exe and Steam.exe Then you can make skse64 primary and run SSE from inside Vortex and still use steam overlay.
