  1. Thanks for the recommendations next time I decide to play Fallout 4 I will definitely look into them.
  2. Ow I know what you mean, every-time I restart cause something broke too much. I know I need to set aside at least 2 hour to remake sanctuary, at this point I can build it from muscle memory. I use building a settlement to mark progress, cause they take so long. The next wall of text is me just venting, about how long and my process for building sanctuary so don't read unless you feel like it. Note I do console command myself a bunch of resources due to how many times I have needed to restart. I just got though doing it for the 10th time (I think). I spend about half an hour scraping all the junk (and trees including fallen one cant those be like pre-scrapped), a few minutes moving things around eg crafting stuff. After that I get to building, where I put up my bridge defences takes about 15 minutes to get everything positioned right. Followed by getting the perimeter defences up, takes about 20 to 25 minutes even with my quicker method, also install the water pumps at the same time. Next I set up my powerplant (normally a floating building filled with fusion generators and a beta wave generator) takes about 10 minutes to set it up. Spend the next 15 to 20 running around setting up the power lines so I have energy everywhere. Then build the floating market and floating sleeping quarters takes about 20 more minutes finally my house in about 3 minutes. When done I barely feel like playing, only place worse is the island cause its way to big.
  3. Yes and it isnt what I was asking sorry if it sounds like it. What I mean is many of the fallout 4 armour/clothing mods I want to use are either, under-armour or are designed to use all armour slot. The mods that tend to do this are ones like lord inquisitor/plague doctor. Which use the arm, leg and the torso slots. The thing is is the build I use requires both, my current under-armour (nanosuit orange version) and the 5 pieces of armour I wear (as all 5 of said armour pieces have legendary effects). Which means things like lord inquisitor or the plague doctor coat, which takes up those 5 slots cant be worn, as it is only a single piece thus only has room for 1 legendary effect. So if I could take the appearance of the lord inquisitor coat/plague doctor coat and put it on just a chest piece (have the appearance while keeping the gear I want), I could keep my current build while still looking cool.
  4. I wasn't 100% sure where to put this, so I chose here hoping at at least wasn't the worst place. Ok so I have been thinking about this for awhile. This game has a ton of really awesome armour mods, my problem is many are under armours or take up most if not all the armour slots (Or at least many I look at do). What I am wondering is if it's possible to have the appearance of said armours, on a chest piece, so I can still have my chosen under-armour and other armour pieces equipped but have the special chest piece override/hide the other armour/under-armour pieces. Again, sorry if this was the wrong place to put this.
  5. Extended weapon mods allows you to mod the revolver like this if I remember correctly.
  6. Ok I have tried to do this myself and didn't turn out well at all, I don't appear to be very good at this.
  7. The blast set off at the end of mass 3, caused a space time worm hole in the milky way galaxy, that hit a armory sucking it in dumping it in the commonwealth. Does that help your immersion.
  8. Look up the Insane Armory mod by Insane Plumber. It's not quite the same, but it changes the deathclaw gauntlet to an actual deathclaw hand that you equip kind of like the hive hand from Half-Life 1.Thanks for the mod looks awesome.
  9. Looks like you and me had a similar idea, though mine includes being able to swap barrel attachments as well. Even made a topic about it a while ago.
  10. So nobody else wants a deathclaw gauntlet, that looks like Fallout 3 and New Vegas's version.
  11. Don't suppose you could direct me to said mod so I can have a look at it. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61824/? Just as a side note, I haven't actually tried the mod out so I am not sure how it works. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I lost the topic (how I don't know). Though I have tried the mod and it seems to be good though compatibility is a bit of an issue. Thanks for showing me it.
  12. Yer it could also have alternatives, like energy ones that extend from a solid base when in use.
  13. Yer I agree it would be much easier to be able to save presets e.g. supply line robot, settlement guard robot ect.
  14. It should also negate fall damage if gliding/slow falling.
  15. As the title says, could someone add a mod to the existing deathclaw gauntlet, that changes it's appearance, to look like the Fallout 3/New Vegas counterpart with it possibly ignoring armor. As a alternative make it a standalone weapon. Also included a picture just in case, someone doesn't know what the fallout 3 and New Vegas version looks like.
  16. So I am guessing trying to make this mod, may be a bit difficult with current resources, or nobody is interested. I will chose to believe the former.
  17. Don't suppose you could direct me to said mod so I can have a look at it. Also just in case you are interested Portable Crafting Tools gives mobile workbenches.
  18. Could someone alter the assaultron helmet, to remove the antenna thing on the back, it looks really silly in my opinion. I would attempt it but I have zero knowledge of FO4edit or the creation kit.
  19. Note to self, do not post mod ideas at midnight(GMT), it just gets buried under everything else.
