  1. As BSTreeNode and NITriShape. Since that is the only one showing up in game & not resulting in a total crash. Whatever settings I use, its allways a NITriShape. Thanks for the info on the Materials. I have testures ready and everything to make them. Just was wondering what the materials are doing.
  2. At least the objects don't crash the CK, but there still is this strgane shine on them. Is there any way to create new materials. (Not textures) as I think it needs some custom Materials (BGSM) too(?)
  3. I've done everything as shown in the tutorial several times. But my Objects show up like on the screenshots, or the CK crashes right away. Sadly it only says "File -> Export -> Gamebryo Format" without giving any details on the settings. Also it is for an clutter object with physics while I want to have a static objects with leave animations at best. best would be to get the nif tools to work as I've used them in all other games. I also noticed that the objects have some strange rainbow colored shine.
  4. Hi there, I have around 50 new Tree models I want to release as modders resource. The only problem is I can't get them into the CK as the won't show up. I have tried with nif plugins and the BSG Tools but none of them worked. It was very easy in other games and never has been a problem. But in Fallout 4 it simply won't work what ever I do. And I don't understand why. Seeing so many mods with custom meshes it can't be that hard. So please someone enlight me on the process. It looks OK in nif Skope, but as soon as I try loading it up in the CK it eather crashes or it shows up very wrong with messed up textures. Can somebody please tell me how to export Objects from 3ds max to the game? I use 3ds max 2013 64bit.   5. Well it's way more complicated than I thought and changing the assoc item doesn't help at all. I don't want to remove radiation. I wan't to keep it but without the stupid health drain.
  6. Hmm, I looked at it, but I can't change the MOST important part there. The health drain. From all changes Bethesda made this one is by far the worsed. it takes away all rolplaying from radiation effect and it really ruins the fun for this game 100%. So I really have to fix it asp.
  7. I wan't to change the way radiation works in FO4. First of all I wan't to get rid of the health drain. Than I wan't to add negative consequences on the SPECIAL values. I also could imagine that the HP drain gets replaced with AP drain. So does anyone here know more about it? I had a look through the CK, but I didn't find much to change it.

  10. Apply a BSDismember modifier to the creature, select all vertexes (should be highlighted in red), then select "Skyrim, Main Body". I can't do that. When I follow your steps I end up stuck in modifier mode.
  11. So everytime I edit some creatures shape in 3dsmax the bone weights get messed up. I need to get them back. I have read I can use the skin modifieres to "rip" them back from other meshes within seconds, but noone really telling how to do so. The skin modifier is allways empty. So what should I do? I've searched the hole internet, but there isn't any usefull information about it. If anyone knows how to do it please tell me. Otherwise I won't be able getting more dismemberment into the game.

  13. And that will be the end of modding as we all know and love(d) it. The game industrie and essentially STEAM has archieved a lot during the last years to take away the fun from gaming. This will just be the last nail in the coffin, at least for me. Future of gaming. User generates content -> The very same user pays for content. User has 100% of the work. The criminals behind steam and the game industrie take 100% of the profit -> User ends with nothing. 15% eh, f**k of. The web is already full of ripped mods. And steams now officialy the control freak of gaming. Theres no way to get any legal and uncensored copy of dying light in my country for example. Steam also introduced geo lock, and even the people with US keys are screwed & censored now. I simply won't play the game than, and its not the only one. Thanks steam. Back to topic, I would NEVER sell any bit of my mods, and I would never, ever pay for any mod. I see mods as something like freeware, open source. Modding isn't about to get paid and it should not become like this. If you wan't to get paid, heck get a job! And Im someone who has spent thousends of hours with skyrim modding. I've spent more time with the Ck than with the game itself... But yeah before developing any mods under such a system I rather develop something on my own. Cryengine, U4, etc. all becoming more interesting now. In some wiered way that might can be seen as semi good. Modding will become less interesting and it will make more sense to develop indigames instead.

  15. I have given this game a fair chance now, So I've looked over the incredible dull and ugly design. Installed tons of mods to fix a bit of the mess. And indeed, new vegas is better for roleplaying a gay wastelander. Why? its full of gay characters and penises!!! I've spotted at least 3 ingame illustrations with a 'hidden' penis. The Old World Blues Brains cant stop talking about 'your' Penis Toes. The Biological Research Station dialogue was so disgusting that I had to turn the game off. There are NPCs named Long Dick Johnson and others talking about his long dick all the time. And thats by far not all, just some random examples. Adding to this that there are 3 times more guy options than strait... And thats all without the Confirmed Bachelor perk. Id clearly prefer the "dye hair dialouge" from tenpenny tower over this: IAM NOT JOKING NOR TROLLING. Start up NV and see for yourself. I might can stand the extremly ugly design. I might can stand the ugly level design, even the boring copy & paste side quests. Beeing disgusted by penis illustrations and gay dialogues at every corner in the Wasteland is to much for my taste. Don't get me wrong here please, Iam not against homosexuality in any way. Everyone should have the free right to love and live however he likes. I just think obsidian has gone far over the top with all there homosexual themes and choices. Guess just not my kind of thing, ehh.

  17. Thanks for all the replys and discussion. Seams like most people around here like NV more. I can understand that in some points. Dialogues are great in NV. For me its not all about grafics, but the level design has to be at least a bit visual appealing. And New vegas not updated LOD makes me wanna vomit. (where you can walk through low quality LOD meshes) Especially when you keep in mind that it would have not taken more than 20 seconds to regenerate them. Sure there are mods to fix such immersion breaking glitches, and even visual /grafic mods to make it look fantastic. But thats not the point I meant. The last Bethesda games havn't been a grafic reference either. Some quest in NV are just poor designed. Example: I get a massage to talk to some NCR guy in the NCR embassy. As well as a massge to talk to caisar. Now I instandly know where the Legion headquarter is. Even if I never have been there... Quest marker. The game does not intend to tell me where the NCR embassy is. The massage tells its somewhere south east of the stip. So I search for it. Have to go to all the doors and 1000+ mini cell worldspaces. Still, its nowhere around. I start to search google. Now the FO-Wiki says its 2 doors (means 2 mini worldspaces) from the strip. Back in game and back with searching. No clue. After 15 loading Screens i quit the game again. Time to look fo coc command now. Im sick of it... Ahh there we go. But I hate cheating. Unfortunatly I need a lot of 'movetoqt' and 'coc #ID' commands in NV. There is no fun in searching a good damn building all night long. Finally found the embassy, secretary says the Ambassador is door to the right, end of the haul. K, door to right, end of haul. Ended up in a toilet room. It goes on and on. The result of very bad quest and world design. I don't say that all NV quest are bad, there are lots of good and creative ones, but some are just horrible implemented. Everyone seams to forget how much freedom and choises FO3 offered. It just didn't had a meaning, nor impact on the world, just a karma system defining your reputation and NPC dialouge options. But franky, most times there have been more than 3 ways to solve a quest in FO3. It just dosn't matter how you do it. Quite sadly Bethesda games have been watered down a lot since morrowind to fit the most common causal. And I 100% agree this is a bad move. Essential characters are horroble and such things have to stop. Bethesda should take the positive things from NV and combine it with a world you have fun to explore and which rewards your exploring. At least in world desing beth is master, but I highly doupt that they will ever make a game as deep as morrowind again. its go with the flow, baby... Its generation Xbox.
  18. The visual design is painfull for the eye. how does such a worldspace go through quality control??? Has there been any quality control at all? I guess not... The grafics are just worse. Gamplay is worse, animations are worse. Whats the problem, everything worked well in the original FO3 and it looks better by default. Just hope things will look more vibrant again when beth takes over the stick once more. Lets see. Can't wait for FO4 however, 6 years now :(
  19. It can also be that 90 mods are simply to much for your system to handle. Skyrim is capable to handle more thats right, but it highly depends on the mods and what they do. + your system and graphic card. When sykrim was newer I wasn't able to run up to 100 mods. The game was unstable as hell with more. Currently I use a few giant mods, physic hairs and lots of performance eating stuff. And with these installed, I can't go beyond 45 mods anymore.

  22. Thats epic news! I love Witcher 2 and I absolutly love how CDP handls things. Well a bit late, these tools have been promised since release, but no offence, it surly was some hard work to get it stable. I will stick with skyrim modding whatsoever, but can't wait what GREAT stuff comes out of this. 2 thumps up for CDP :D
  23. hit F4 and you will see the collusion. At least they won't be invisible at all. You can reload the cell with F5, this will make them visible again. Theres no permanent solution fot this bug. What do you mean by pop in farther away?
  24. sorry, when thats a stupid question, but on the Hlaalu set it says; "The following tilesets can be used for modding" So is it a resource?
