  1. I'd like some help with polishing up some dialogue I wrote for a mod. Please pm me if you're willing to help me.
  2. Any tutorial for making followers with custom textures and meshes separate from rest of NPCs?? I tried this by applying a texture set to a custom race, and it shows kinda, but I have no idea how to give the NPC a custom body mesh.
  3. So I've been looking at Serana's package stack, and got nowhere, she only appears to have a basic sandbox package. No clue as to how she idles while player is in dialogue/ staying still. Any help with that?
  4. Can't you make your dialogue quest priority higher? That way it should override all other quests that affect your follower.
  5. How do I make an NPC a follower once a quest has been started, but not before? I have assigned the NPC 2 factions, the bard one and the follower one, and I would like it so that the follower faction only triggers when the quest begins. Help?
  6. Import your nebula image into Gimp, export as .dds file with the dds exporter plugin, save as DXT1, put the new dds file in data/textures/sky (create folders in Skyrim data folder if not there) and rename as skyrimgalaxy.dds. I think the star twinkling effect is caused by having no minimaps enabled, but I'm not sure. Hope this helps. edit: it's better to save it as DXT5 actually. I checked the galaxy file and they had transparency enabled, so when making your dds file, remember to make the area around the nebula transparent.
  7. Well I'm not going to make any MERP scale projects by myself any time soon, but thanks for the clarification.
  8. Suppose I wanted to make a quest mod, using characters, lore and direct references from another game, say Dragon Age for an example. Also I would like to recreate areas, and adapt existing Skyrim meshes to create ones based on DA using the CK. Assuming that no actual assets (meshes, textures, and the like) are being ported from DA to Skyrim (besides the characters and lore) is this hypothetical mod ok to upload here?
  9. I also have one question, is it alright to use fan created covers of soundtracks (from movies, tv series, games, etc) in a mod, asuming I have the permission to use said covers?
  10. I have been getting this error ever since I first opened the CK. I have no clue at all what to do. And I can't create even a basic script even. Any help? edit: I realised I may not have provided enough info. I'm running my mods through the Mod Organizer, and the CK as well through it. Maybe the the script compiler can't find the scripts because of that? I'm able to compile official scripts using the Papyrus compiler but custom made scripts I can't :(
  11. I'm no expert either, but couldn't you use loose files instead? Just copy the same folders and files relevant to the other mods that you have in your Data folder and package it in your mod. Make sure to keep the file pathways the same or else the game will complain. Also make sure you get permission from the mod authors to include their mods in your follower mod.
  12. Thanks, I already know about extracting the wmx files and the rest, but I'm not sure how to add a new song template into the CK. (I think it requires changing quests and adding new ones, I kinda have no experience with that) Any tips? :)
  13. So I have found this amazing cover of a song (that I have the permission to mod for ,of course) and I'm not sure how to add new ones. Help? Plus, I'm not sure whether there is a lip sync tool in the CK or not, searching online tells me that they have disabled it I guess. So any third party tools for doing so? edit: corrected some typos
