im guessing theres a lot of people like myself who are creatures of habit and will not bother with steam workshop not out of some hate of steam or distrust but out of pure laziness lol and of course the whole its what everyone is used to using. id guess that nexus may get fewer new members as workshop will be advertised a lot better and people new to modding will see it first and see it has bethesda written on it so not look any further but those who stay on workshop will probabaly only be part time modding with only a few mods installed and those who get more involved and want a hundred mods would learn about conflicts very fast and resort to a community like here with helpful mod authors and modders always willing to give some advice. i for one have no doubts about the nexus suffering badly from this, yrs of excellence has no doubt built up a loyalty amongst modders here

lol weird topic but im in agreeance new electronics is a nice smell, in general new electronics are awesome but i fondly remember unpacking my alienware for the first time and inhaling the scent of awesome

@vohcaz lol I work very early mornings and dont sleep much and forget simple computer functions inbetween energy drinks. If the loading screen bug is the worse i have out of this patch ill be happy have only played an hour or 2 since it patched. the plus side to the bug im forced to close skyrim and go back to the real world So original question anyone else have it or just me lol

im all for 3, it is a big world so its understandable to have some barely fleshed out characters but major characters like him need some love. though on the otherhand the whole civil war was pretty rushed and the aftermath was badly done so bethesda may have just gotten lazy and/or rushed. i for one am glad it wasnt delayed

i had the finisher one a few times since day one, also a similar thing when using any crafting table sometimes my character would just stand there and i could only get around it by fast traveling or reloading. i found the finisher one only seemed tohappen when i was next to walls (maybe not enough room to play animation, lol im just guessing)

Ever since i got the latest patch ive had improved performance and less bugs in general but have one new bug where every now and again ill fast travel and it will stay on the loading screen un frozen it keeps changing the hint/info and pics but never stops loading forcing me to ctrl alt f4 to escape as nothing else works, was wondering has anyone else had this or is it just me. other than that patching to 1.4 has done wonders

ill be watching... like some creepy big brother government program would love for this to be made as i love D&D have been playing for yrs and own pretty much every faerun 3.5 and 3rd edition books, also a tonne of faerun novels so if this gets done ill be in love i hope it goes well once the CS is released

I dont know a lot about modding but am pretty sure this will only be possible with the CK, I would love a mod like it and am hoping some talanted modder out there manages it

my advice... move on, the riften house is a bit lame compared to the others. cant let one glitch preventing you from buying a mediocre house ruin your game, to the houses credit it is a bit better than breezehome but only a bit. im sure when the CK comes out it will be pretty easy to fix the glitch also you must remember, try to avoid feeding trolls it only makes things worse

Hi ive been lurking around the nexus since early 2010 (i even signed up so i was slightly less creepy lurker eventually) mostly enjoying the mods but have recently been lurking on the forums and have found there are quite a few witty people around these parts so wanted to start this topic to see if anyone has any good jokes or stories (prefferably clean) to share and lighten up everyones days with laughter the world needs more laughter. so if this topic goes as i hope it does the world will be a marginally happier place. so who wants to be first? someone should and my stories and jokes violate all kinds of rules so i cant go first p.s. im not sure about pics, id love to see some comedy pics but would hate to see this place turn into a demotivational haven so if pics please original only, not from the webs

I realised we may get lucky they may all migrate to steam workshop where they can troll to their hearts content without fear of our mighty moderators wrath. Is there any greater satisfaction than reporting a troll checking back 5 minutes later to see a normally comical comment from a moderator and a new member on the banned list... gotta enjoy the little things in life. Though i believe that Yoshh has insulted lemons im pretty sure lemons have a slightly higher IQ. I was thinking about the steam one click modding... that cant end well how are they going to deal with conflicts, so back to the other topic i believe trollin can flourish there where they may actually have a reason to be so angry. on the plus side trolls seem to have very short attention spans so those not destroyed by the moderators will get bored in another month or so and move on. Im still saying they came from the fifth dimension... theres a shortage of chairs over there, which could explain the trolls anger

Hi i have been curious of late as to where all the trolls swarming the nexus since the release of skyrim have come from. On the majority of mods these days there are troll comments and plain ignorant comments what happened to the "if you dont like it move on" approach that the nexus has always seemed to have? I keep seeing new mod authors make a decent mod but the textures could use some work or other things like that, these things take practice, and yet people (in general less than a month on the nexus with 4 posts and no mods) feel the need to leave hateful comments about how bad it is with no constructive criticism to be found in there generalized "this is crap make something usefull or GTFO" styled comments. Surely these people can see that they have no obligation to dl and use things they dont like and surely they realize free content may not always be of the highest quality but it comes down to two words... It's free. therefore you cant hate on it according to the laws of everything awesome (no serioulsy look it up, rule 68 of everything awesome states that "free stuff is awesome no matter what") I personally feel bad dl'ing some of this content as i have never been a huge contributer to this site i have zero mods and less than a hundred posts so i never really give anything back to the community (ill oneday release something im just self concious about my quality, i swear it has nothing to do with lazyness on my behalf and a short attention span that would cause me to abandon mods at random offering no support because i seemingly dissapear from the site for months at a time). Granted we all go through the lack of understanding and leave comments that seem dumb thinking back on it but these trolls are just plain rude so after my random rant that probabaly doesnt make sense at parts I have a question for the community Where did the internet trolls come from? (and i mean in the beginning not just here, im mostly bored wanting to see comedic creative responses that will make people chuckle) Sorry for the long rant Insanityone
