  1. I've been thinking about this very thing and just found this thread. The simplest way of scripting this wouldn't need to take into account the ship stats or crew skills; they would just be unavailable until recalled and you'd get an ongoing amount of credits and/or resources for each ship you have out on missions. Nicer features: ship stats and crew skills affect amounts gained set it so they run actual missions, like the ones you find at kiosks, returning after a variable amount of time with rewards as specified in each mission, maybe even occasional items as well include a chance for ships to come back damaged, or even destroyed in hardcore mode include a chance for crew to come back wounded (or even killed if non-essential) fancy notion, give the crew the experience awards from quests to level up their skills
  2. I had been away from FO4 for a while and hadn't seen the reply with the fix - thanks!!
  3. Are you licensed to sponsor a tier-2 work visa?
  4. Saw in another thread that deleting the data\f4se folder can help with CTDs on startup, and what do you know, it worked. :-)
  5. Crimsonrider has a step-by-step here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20752
  6. I think you will either have to wait for a new version of Place Anywhere that's compatible with 1.10.64, or roll back to 1.10.50 and the previous version of F4SE as well.
  7. I have this weird issue with F4SE where the game will run fine if Steam is not already running, but if Steam is already running, Fallout will crash on startup - I only get as far as a black screen with the hourglass before it crashes to desktop. I'm running the latest versions of Fallout and F4SE, but I've been encountering this since 1.10.40. Anyone encounter anything similar? This doesn't happen if I run Fallout without F4SE, or if I run 1.10.26 with the corresponding version of F4SE for that release. I haven't tried going through and removing mods yet, because I have around 250 running and I don't know offhand which ones use F4SE, so I figured I check here first...
  8. Okay, maybe not all. Most I can't tell, but some I definitely can - teddy bears, telephones, typewriters, alarm clocks. I forget which axis that is, but they are not upside down, they are just facing the wrong way. The rotation axis is relative to the object, not the world - if a clock is supposed to be lying on its back, for instance, it's lying on its face instead. Computer monitors are fine though, as well as safes and armoires and things. So it's definitely not all of them, then. I didn't notice when this first happened, so I don't know if it's a particular mod or not. Anyone have any ideas? Or seen anything like this? Here's my load order, copied from LOOT:
  9. Actually not even sure it's Nuka World - assumed so, but it's not showing as downloaded in Steam. Maybe just an update.
  10. Never mind - managed to wrangle it somehow via reboot, new game load, and then save load.
  11. So Nuka World just downloaded to my system, and I can't load my saved games. I can start a new game, but not load saves. Anyone else having this issue? I do have around 200 mods installed, and I would hope I don't have to go through them one by one. So if anyone else has any suggestions, I'd appreciate.
  12. Yes! I'd love to have Giddyup as a follower. I wish you much success, Flowerguy360, though I don't know enough about mod building fo4 to be of any help yet.
  13. This is how it should have been done. I'd love to play with just basic needs enabled but without the limited saves, hardcore damage and all that. All the survival options should be selectable or deselectable in whatever combo.
  14. It's in the Bethesda patch's change notes that you should be able to assign them as shopkeepers now, but I haven't tried it myself yet.
  15. I'd love to see Kiera Cameron's CPS (City Protective Services) gear from Continuum modded into the game. CPS nano suit - ballistic weave, can color change top and bottom separately or together, has built in stealth field, hefty strength enhancement, and can deliver incapacitating electric shocks CPS service weapon - looks like just a pistol grip, but flips out into something that looks a bit like "That Gun" when you grab it. Has a pop-out holographic HUD when you target with it, and IIRC, different ammo types, including non-lethal stunning. CPS assault rifle - looks cool, is based directly on a Japanese airsoft gun (Jing Gong "Thunder Maul")
  16. What I would love to see would be the suit and weapon Kiera Cameron uses in Continuum. The suit is obviously a ballistic weave, with color-changing capability, which would be cool. The gun, though - that would be awesome. Looks a bit like "That Gun", but has it's own holographic pop-up HUD, and changeable ammo types to stun or kill, if I remember correctly. That would be a heck of a mod.
  17. I had all kinds of trouble getting my mods to load after the patch. They looked like they were loaded in NMM, but when I started the game, it would complain about missing esms. I don't know the exact cause, but I found a messy workaround that works for me. After trying to load a game and getting those errors, I click the update button in NMM, which re-downloads the latest version of it. Normally, it would tell you NMM is already up to date, but after getting this error, the update button would re-download and start the installation process to update my already-up-to-date NMM. Then, when I run NMM again, I see none of my plugins are check-marked, so I check all 130-or-so of them, and then the game runs and finds the mods. Trouble is, every time I add or delete a mod, I have to go through this all over again, it seems. UPDATE - looks like I actually have two different versions of NMM installed - 0.61.13. and 0.61.20 - and the earlier version was the problem. My shortcut was still pointing to it; whenever I ran the update, though, it would load the new version. D'oh! TL;DR version - make sure you have the latest version of NMM running, and it may help
