  1. Hah that is a great idea considering the fact that someone already made a mod like this for Oblivion. If I can get his permission to port it I will port it for you. Edit: I sent the creator a message asking if I could use the assets. No reply yet.
  2. I am a modder. I could do this and so could tons of other modders however no one has the time. If someone could get a team together it could possibly be done in around 3 months (with a big enough team). If you could put a team together I have general skills. Like I am OK at everything but GREAT at nothing. I will volunteer for Project Manager/ Bug Finder/ Fixer. I have NO artistic skills whatsoever so I could not do any modeling or 2D art. I have an idea to incorporate Fallout 1 into Fallout New Vegas that would be easier than this yet still plenty hard. This would require players to purchase Fallout 1 before they can use the mod though. My idea is a arcade machine inside of New Vegas that lets you play the actual Fallout 1 and not a remake. To do this however the modder would have to validate that the user owns Fallout 1 or they could get sued. To do this they would have a certain file from Fallout 1 that you would have to put into a folder in New Vegas's data folder in able for the mod to work. If you are a better modder than me and want to make this idea become a reality, go ahead however I would like credit for the idea.
  3. Then how are you playing it? It requires Steam to play. I purchased it at GameStop and never activated it on Steam. Works fine.
  4. Ok so the problem is that I was a modder for Fallout New Vegas but then I got bored with the game so I uninstalled it and the G.E.C.K. Well I came back to the game and I want to mod some more but the G.E.C.K. will not load FalloutNV.esm (the main file). I start up the G.E.C.K. go to File and then Data,,, select FalloutNV.esm and press ok. Nothing happens. No errors. No indications that it was even trying to do anything. I go back to Data... and I see that FalloutNV.esm is unchecked. I have tried running it as administrator still nothing. I am sure that I installed the right G.E.C.K. too and not the Fallout 3 one. I also know that I installed it right. What's wrong? Please help. Note: I did NOT attach my copy of Fallout New Vegas to Steam and do not want to. The G.E.C.K. is not on Steam either and I don't know if there is even a version of the G.E.C.K on Steam.
  5. No it is not. The reason is that all games ever made were made on a computer of some sort. This means that most of the time they develop a PC version even if they aren't going to release the PC version. With TES and the TES: Construction set I can guarantee that it is a port from PC to the consoles. With Bethesda's new engine, if it's anything like Unreal Engine 3, then they would develop a game on a PC and then they could just click a few buttons to port it to consoles. It makes the developers job a lot easier to make it for PC then port it. PC is the dominant gaming platform and that is because it has better graphics, mods, you can update it when new tech comes out so on...
