Hi. I have some texture mods running and SMIM. SMIM is overwriting the other texturemods in a conflict in most cases. It seems that all is fine but the doors in Riverwood (and i guess at every house with such a door) are looking weird: Is this a texture problem or a problem with a mesh? Bonusquestion: I've read on a modpage (Project Parallax Remastered, but i don't use that mod) "Sometimes you may notice shifting spots on some of the textures, this is caused by the mesh". Is this always the case if using parallax? At a stonetower i saw shifting spots on the wall.

Needs: - Mods that bring RPG back to the game. Holy f***, what did Bethesda with the game and those stupid charisma-only options... - Overhaul like FWE / PN - a lot more Wants - even more @chucksteel: Nice. You will have a lot of work here with F4. ^^ I saw a lot of houses without access, haha.

I never had my perfect game. I had a lot of mods which were great and helped to play the game. But a good overhaul like FWE or PN was lacking. I know there were some specific overhauls but not as good as for the Fallout games and often only for specific parts of the game (i.e. one combat perk overhaul, one perkoverhaul for stealth and so on). And no, Tendos stuff was not a perfect overhaul for me.

Such a mod (or mods) will come. F3, FNV, Skyrim had it and F4 will have it too. But it will take its time. A Fallout game without something like Wanderers Edition or Project Nevada is not a Fallout game for me anymore. ^^

What means you were not able to find a solution? If you have a missing .esp or .esm file FNVedit will show the error and there you can see what is missing. Seems you have more than you needed. If i have the all dlc.esp running along with the others there shows up a warning in the game. You have both weapon modification mods running. They are not compatible with each other. You can read that on their pages also. Example from the WMX page: -
You dont gave much information. Just "wanted to install a mod and it wasnt working". What mod and what was not working? As a beginner you could watch some of Gophers Tutorial vids. Could be helpful.

Hi. I played without any issues over 170 hours but now i got problems with primary needs. Project Nevada is used but i dunno if that has something to do with the problem i wanted to mention it because thats the only mod i use that affects primary needs. For some time my primary needs got stuck. If i save a game and reload it (or fasttravel or sleep) they are working again (as it seems) but got stuck again after a while. Strange thing is that when i was sleeping the counter is always at 6 then. Not above and not 0, always 6 and is changing only if stuff happens mentioned above. Does anybody had an idea how that is possible or how that can be resolved? Ok i found out that this seems to be a bug according to Falloutwiki. There it was mentioned for Xbox but i got it too so it can happen on pc as well. :sad:

The problem is that we can't voice new lines for the vanilla characters (though I think Veronica and Arcade also do comment on a few vanilla locations) :tongue: Well it would be enough if Cass could be pre-patch (her chat behaviour) again. For the others im not thinking about new lines. They just could use their comments more often. :-)

Thx for those proposals. I know the mod Russel and will play it because i liked New Vegas Bounties but im not interested in mod-companions for the rest of the game. There i prefer vanilla companions. :-) That is the question. I hope someone will be able to do that.

Hi. I don´t know if there is a mod out there for that but i couldn´t find one so that´s why im posting here. I also don´t know if this needs a mod or could be solved via console command (which i doubt atm). What is common in Skyrim is virtually not present (or very little) in Fallout New Vegas (or Fallout 3): Comments from companions. Honest Hearts did this a bit better than vanilla FNV but it´s getting worse after playing that dlc with the companions there and their chatter and you come back to the Mojave and those companions realising that they are in comparison almost quiet most of the time. Rose of Sharon Cassidy counts as one of the talkiest companions and Obsidian did a horrible job with her when patching her chatty kind out of the game: I think you got the point. I like the chatty way more than the silent companions no matter if in Skyrim or Honest Hearts. So it would be nice if someone could fix that if that is possible. At least Cass should be the way like she was before patch 1.4.0.525 and if the others could talk a bit more somehow that would be even better. cheers

There is something like that but a lot (!) less than the books of TES. In Fallout stories and background are mainly told via Terminals or through dialogues. Afaik there are not many mods to enhance that and if it´s more like DC Confidential - Scattered Stories. It´s a nice and immersive mod but very small and without a specific relation to the lore but rather personal stories of people. -

Hey. There was this very nice little mod for FO3: Scavenger World. Maybe someone is interessted to port that to FNV or make something similar for FNV? Especially with FWE Scavengers World was very usefull and i think it belongs to FNV too. :-) regards.

The "clean your save" like mentioned above is - to be honest - the very last solution and only one step before "f*** it, im going to start a new game". There is no clean save in Skyrim possible. Even if you can manage it for one mod, another mod will likely suffer from it. Lots of modauthors are saying to do NOT a clean save.

Hi. Always when i reach Moss Mother Cavern and Valdr my game freezes. This is not happening when i deactivate the .esps of all mods except Enhanced Blood Textures and ACE - Archery and save the game, reload it and then i can go to that place without a freeze. Those two .esps have to be activated otherwise the game crashes instantly after loading a savegame with those esps disabled, so that is normal. The point is which mod is causing the freeze. Maybe its related to Valdr and not the place himself, i dunno yet. Maybe someone got an idea? I deactivated Amazing Follower Tweaks also but the game was freezing again, so i assume ACE, Enhanced Blood Textures and Amazing Follower Tweaks are not the mods who cause the freeze. Here is my loadorder: regards edit: Ok, fixed it by myself.

One problem is if Skyrim is running on XP 32bit and in the bootini is NOT 3GB enabled the game will crash after a while. Just for the info.
