Well, if you cant handle F3 INSIDE a building, which costs realy not much fps, then you need realy a new computer instead of playing with a calculator. ;) -

What do you mean? I wont use distance decreased and distance decreased modified together, i wanna use one distance decreased mod and one weather mod together. Or did i get you wrong? -
I tried the jackets back in 2010 and they were nice. A usable mod. Recently i found Wasteland and Bog Outfits but i havent tested it yet.

Two liked and known companions were Sydney and Amy Wong Maybe you like one of these: Fallout Street Lights for the dark nights. The American Hammer, Sete di Sangue and some other weapons of this modding girl (check her files or readme for the other weapons). Her weapons are deluxe. For me the only single weapons ive added to my game. This and FWE is enough. ^^ DC Confidential - Scattered Stories is a nice little mod which brings bit atmosphere and immersion to the game. Example. Scavenger World or Scavenger World -- Updated is realy worth a try. Fits perfectly F3. Somehow i always liked the Super Duper Mart. Here is the Super Duper Basement! So you have FWE and MMM? Then you´re realy in need of BoS DC Ruins Patrols. This is . Ok and for the little break a bit of Fallout Food (FWE compatible). hf

Distance Decreased needed but won´t work

Hiho. I wanna play with a mod like this (or exactly this): View distance decreased or View Distance Decreased - Modified. Maybe there is an fps benefit but even if not i´d like to play with mentioned above mods because of the view distance. I don´t need the full distance view the game offers because of the horrible look with gridstoload 5 and the popup thing. So i like a bit fog in the distance for the atmosphere of the game (and if the fps are a bit better it would be nice). I´m playing with Dynamic Weather and Enhanced Weather. I also tried Project Reality but switched back because of the lighting and the to-nice-weather (Here is not realy a fallout atmosphere. Seems like this mod was made for Skyrim first and ported to F3 then). However, the problem is that i cant get the distance decreased mods running along with the weather mod. Only with Dynamic Weather deactivated (also with Project Reality deactivated) it will work for me. I tried a bit with the loadorder but it was not working (distance decreased before and after a weathermod). So does anybody knows how to get a weather mod and distance decreased (or a similar mod to that) running together? That would be nice. cheers -
Fix your loadorder like this: FOIP readme. Then you have to create a merged patch with FO3edit (this will also tell you if your loadorder has errors or not).

You could use "player.setlevel <level>" or just play with level 30 along. ^^

Just a stupid idea and i realy dunno if this will work but put him through console to another spot and try to speak to him there (f.e. go to megaton and write in the console "prid 0006a775" and then "moveto player", after his appearance talk to him, maybe he is responsive there like he should).

Just one hint, dont use quicksave. This can corrupt your savegame. Use the normal way to save. And if possible avoid autosave. This can cause troubles too.

So you have tried the link above to prove if youre savegame is corrupted and it is corrupted? Because if its not there is maybe another chance what causes the problem. But if its realy corrupted afaik there is no option to fix that because the errors are in the savegame. Only chance is a new game. I´ve lost a game two years ago with ~150 h because of crashes so ... ;) Learn the two basic things in such games: * Save early, save often! * Always use more slots to save and not only one! * especially for Bethesda games counts: Never use quicksave and if possible avoid the autosave features. Bethesda is not that great on technical things. In fact they are poor but i wont discuss this here now. In Skyrim f.e. there was something called "skyboost" from a guy named Alexander. That little tool was optimizing Skyrim at certain places in the world and was realy giving a boost for the fps for almost ALL players without problems for them. And what was the reason? Bethesda has forgotten to set a "optimize check mark" in the game. Those i***** could have fixed the fps issues for thousands of players with only one click but didnt it. Alexander was needed and the realy big response about that to move Bugestha to do something about that. -

Hiho. Wanted to play a bit F3 again with some of the great mods avi but on several occasions/places i got harsh fps drops and from time to time a ctd or a crash with AppName: fallout3ng.exe AppVer: 1.7.0.3 ModName: fallout3ng.exe ModVer: 1.7.0.3 Offset: 006e8190 My System is XP 32 bit Core 2 Duo E6750 2x2660MH Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Gigabyte GA-P35 DS3 MSI GTX560 TI Twin Frozr II A-Data Extreme DDR2 800+ 3GB Seasonic S12II 430W ATX 2.0 I am using FOMM, FOSE, fo3edit for the merged patch and was using the FOIP page for the loadorder. Archive invalidation is active. I am using the Fallout Stutter Remover (plugin for FOSE) and have enabled App can handle more than 2 GB of Ram. In my Fallout.ini i have set "iNumHWThreads=2" and "bUseThreadedAI=1". My savegames seems to be clean at this point. I checked that with this method (console: player.adlevel and i had no freeze and could level up). I havent figured out what is causing a) the fps drops or low fps at all in the game and b) what is causing the crashes for me. My fps are dropping down to ~15 at some places (f.e. the mall or inside the GNR building with GNR Building Redux) and at some i got ~60 (inside and partwise outside). The only texture pack i was using is NMCs Texture Pack performance but that doesnt impact my FPS so hard. Even without that texture pack i had the FPS drops and problems. At three occasions i had missing a texture hand in hand with low FPS (again the mall and inside GNR with above mentioned mod). What is realy strange: I tested the fake fullscreen (windowed mode) but that way i got around 5-10 less than normal! Maybe someone could help me a bit with that? Hi. When first entering Jorrvaskr there is a brawl/training fight between Athis and Njada Stonearm. This matches the lore of the companions and was realy nice made for immersion. If you are progessing in the game the ppl are becoming more passive there and in the end some of them are just questgivers/followers, staying or sitting around in Jorrvaskr. I thought it would be nice if from time to time some of the members are still brawling/train with each other again. This could keep Jorrvaskr and the group more alive and again i believe its a big plus for immersion. I mean "The Companions are a collective group of mercenaries, soldiers and fighters..." and they should/could/must train a bit from time to time and thats better than just sitting and standing around in their meadhall. So when the CK is out maybe some modders think about that and could realize that? That would be awesome. ;) This request is for Jorrvaskr because i havent played the thiefes guild, db or mages guild yet. But maybe the same point counts for those guilds too. So the point is: Keep the guilds more alive with guild related activities. greetings

Skyrim freeze when opening the world map

Hi. Im still searching for a solution. I switched from HD4870 to a GTX560Ti and now i got crashes when im using the worldmap (it opens and then freeze or when im trying to close the map it goes black with sound in the background and hitting M again leads to a ctd). :-/ Any more ideas how to fix that? Zeta Zetas post didnt work for me. -
Something like a hardcore mode like FNV with PN odr F3 with WE is needed for sure. ^^

Hi. I have no sound or stuttering problems in the normal game but with several building mods (not all i use. the very old version of Goodsprings Home (with the basement) is ok for me). In a order of heaviness: Lucky 38 Suite Expansion (sound and stuttering) and Goodsprings Farmhouse (primarily sound and sometimes stuttering ), Solars Goodsprings Home average (sound). That means after a very short while in the "house" my sound is gone and im gonna start to stutter/lag (depending on the housemod). The only "solution" for a very short while is to hit "escape" and back from the menu into the game. Then the sound appears for a short time and disappears again. Against the stuttering i havent found a solution. It would be nice if someone has an idea what is going on there. I dunno. cheers

Hi. Im fine with the ingame crosshair and i like it but the combat crosshair is not my cup of tea. So i found this mod: Bullseye - The Crosshair Replacement Pack. The point is that it seems not realy finished. Also it was an early state and there seems to be problems with darnUI (scale thing) and there is no word about keeping the normal ingame crosshair and just switch the combat crosshair. So it would be nice if someone could take care of that. I guess some ppl would like and use that. cheers

New patch problems

Same for me. I played with the older patch without any problems for 44 hours and not one CDT. Now with the new patch my first CDT appeared. And the bonus is that i never had any problems with the sound until i installed the latest patch. Now after a bit playing ppl have no sound etc.
