eat several times a day? what's your planned timescale for starvation, dehydration, and sleep deprivation? i don't mean to criticize but you won't starve to death in one day, hell it takes about 3 to dehydrate to death

Here's an idea, in the rough, but regardless first off i would suggest you make this overhaul in "moduals" so that each individual portion is easier to manage. or replace should someone else do it better (god forbid) well here's the idea: -on tutorial you get incredibly shoddy equipment; "rusty" weapons, "Dry-rotted" leather, "Rusted steel", and so on -"passable" armor should be the most common kind of armor in the game, you'll be seeing a lot of leather and iron armors (perhaps a "light iron" heavy armor set) -good armor is expensive as hell (2000 or so gold), and you probably won't find whole sets of it in the wild, a bandit chieftain may have a set of nice boots, but the rest of his armor is bad. -same goes for weapons, a lot of iron and wood and basic bows, decent weaponry is hard to find -if something degrades far enough it's lost forever -repairs take specific items -coinage is hard to come by, quest rewards are reduced -smithing needs to be more involved, but that's a whole other mod.

make a new spell that resurrects the target and sets them to companion? make them non-essential as well.

i have a simple suggestion, it would require a UI edit, but still. when you use the issue command feature (which should be bound to a key) and target something a radial menu comes up with all the actions the follower can do to that object. using this will override the AI temporarily. these actions can include: for items: take, equip, steal, etc. non-agressive npcs: talk, pickpocket, distract, attack, etc. agressive npcs: attack, distract, sneak attack, pickpocket, etc. you get the idea. also, it would be nice if one could specify how the follower acts based on your actions. I.E. when i draw my bow my follower targets the same thing and we loose the arrows at the same time. or i want my follower to not use melee untill an aggressive enemy is in melee range

LE The Ultimate Survival/Realism Wishlist.
monkeyboi replied to Yickfou's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
here's what i would like to see. during the tutorial you get shoddy weapons and armor, that barely work, and most bandits have this type of stuff too, now you can buy a decent sword/bow from a vendor, but it will cost you a decent sword should cost around 1000 septims, and you should almost never come across them in the wild. same goes for armor. hopefully this will make the game more difficult because you don't have a decent weapon for a while, and even better weapons (elven, ebony, daedric) are extremely expensive and rare in the wild. also, if possible, bring back weapon repairing with one more feature: if the weapon breaks completely it's gone for good (save a few exceptions, such as god weapons and quest weapons), and repairs should be suitably expensive based on the material of the weapon/armor. -
just make it so when you equip the hammer you have access to two new spells. and when you unequip it they are removed
-
While that looks bad-ass, i doubt it will happen. but i would like to see some even better looking argonians (not that i don't already like them)

Bow perks, upgraded elven bow, orcish or better arrows. Do some pretty high damage with each draw hit, especially if you've added an enchantment. Only takes me about 5-6 hits to cripple. i meant more along the lines of grabbing it's attention, rather than killing it with the bow. personally i can't hit the damn things when they're in the air

E + Lydia + E + Second Horse = Lydia Ride Horse....
monkeyboi replied to Modslave's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
here's an idea: using the "do something option" you target something and hit e, this pops up a radial menu with a collection of options based on the target, horses get ride, attack npc's get attack, talk, distract, picpocket and so on. even have it have other options if you're in sneak mode. -
some ideas: a custom bow that has a very slow draw time and a custom enchantment that makes it hit dragons relatively hard, this bow needs to have a vert fast projectile speend so you can hit a flying dragon easier, thus getting it's attention. also it needs to be useless against anything but a flying dragon. also a shout that equates "COME AT ME BRO" in dragon, so that a nearby dragon will attack you.

i just want a garunteed throat-slit when sneaking.
-
i really just want a small change to the favorites menu. when i tap "q" to open it i want it to bring up the menu as it is now. but i want the "a" and "d" keys to cycle thru categories like "weapons" , "magic","potions", "apparel". also a small idea: some items only appear when i go to the specific sub menu and some only appear on the primary "favorites" menu. that would make me a very happy man.

i want to have to regulate my body temperature thru clothing, fires, spells, potions, etc. etc.
-
maybe it just needs a more refined animation set. this game was made with consoles in mind so maybe the animations had to be somewhat "rough"
-
i would like to see a mod (hell i just may try to make one) in which the three trade skills don't level your Player level, but you still have to spend perks like normal (balance!)
-
i really like recon, i use a 4x scope whenever possible, unless it would be more pertanet to break out the m-95 12X also i don't go for hundreds of kills, i usually spot the enemy first (or a group) and then take the shot in case i miss). also i'll wait for an enemy to try to repair his vehicle, and kill him. and i love using my mortar strike for tactical destruction.. all in all i try to be as much credit to the team that i can, with my very powerful short-medium range semi-auto silenced rifle.

hardcore mode: sorta like new vegas but better, rather than have 4 stages of hunger. thirst, and sleep deprivation make it a sort of sliding scale of debuffs, and make it so that hunting for food is efficient so people don't always cop out and drop 2 coins on some bread and remove all the debuffs.
-
the combat shocase was most likely staged to show how good the animations look. that said i hope the game has combat that feels 'heavier' with less flourishes and fancy moves that break immersion as a medieval-esque warrior
-
ideally i would like the best of both worlds, where a character would be completely nude - when appropriate - like prostitutes (if any), romance (if any), characters where it would fit the personality, and even if it would fit a quest well. I imagine a quest/ random encounter where you would be walking in the wilderness and you hear a cry for help. you approach the sound and see a unfortunate traveler completely nude (covering himself humorously, of course.) and you simply escort him to safety. simple things like that, i don't want every single body i loot to end up nude.

Perks that replace animations
monkeyboi replied to monkeyboi's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
well jeez, i was hoping that it was basically a script that redirects the original animations to the better one... -
I recently had an idea for a mod that will change a players animations for various things based on perks that the player has. i thought i could use the same basic principle as the 'ranger takedown' perk. i went into the geck and i couldn't find out how the perk worked for the life of me. so, i ask the Nexus community: How in the world does the ranger takedown perk work? it didnt have scripts or anything.

if this happened i would never play another game again... EVER

I Will Be Going To Bethesda Studios To Meet The Developers
monkeyboi replied to stealtrecon's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
EXACTLY, do you realize the sheer epicness that game would be? -
i would think of skyrim as 'streamlined' rather than toned down, they took a lot of the number crunch that comes with building a good character (morrowind, and to a lesser extent oblivion) and made it so your character grows from your choices/play style.

maybe just better textures that only work player-side?
