  1. Wouldn't it be possible to un-complete that quest via console so he isn't set to wuss mode? Or just set him to aggressive directly?
  2. that Khajiit is gonna look more awesome when i put a dagger to his throat Argonians FTW ....'kay?
  3. The Khajiit and Orcs are looking nice. I was gonna play them both anyway, but now I have confirmation that I'll get to look good doing it.
  4. I played on console so it wasn't possible to get massive files, and pretty much just had a save per race while only using about three of them. I also was taking ghetto screenshots through the little savegame portrait that the game takes, so I had at most twenty save files, mostly of one character, at any given time. Not that much compared to others here though.
  5. I had to translate that. That's actually pretty funny.
  6. A game...within a game? We need to go deeper. *inception face* But yeah. Minigames. Thumbs up.
  7. I think it's the Fus-Roh-Dah shockwave that was mentioned in the GI article. Unimpressed? THIS. IS. SKYRIM we're talking about here. XD
  8. I don't think it will be related to magic in any way, because you'll be able to use it regardless of what weapons you have equipped. Magic is only castable if you equip it. The guy in the trailer had a sword and a shield equipped already. I think it'll be treated as a new skill type on top of magic.
  9. Sounds like you picked up an Arrow of Regret somewhere. Gotta watch out for those.
  10. My Nord will be male, my Khajiit will be female for the health bonus. It's not like she's going to let anyone hit her, but it's still nice to have a bigger buffer for the occasional unplanned scuffle. Unless they completely redo how stats work, then I really don't know.
  11. I liked A Dance In Fire and The Argonian Account. They were pretty well written, as well as serving as character background for my two favorite races, showing how they are on their "home turf". I also liked the Barenziah series, and a few of the longer skill books. A Game At Dinner made me respect Helseth quite a bit. He's quite the magnificent bastard. And of course I've gotta mention Ahzirr Trajijazaeri. My bible when it comes to how I play my stealth characters. There are more, but those are the ones I can think of right now. I've got a chest full of nothing but books in one of my houses. I should make a list.
  12. Methredhel and Amusei are my homies. I also think J'Skar and Hassiri are cute.
  13. Well, there was that business with Sanguine....
  14. Other people will be able to do Dragon Shouts too, so you're not unique and overpowered. Shouts are a type of Nord magic. I'm assuming this means certain enemies will have these abilities too.
  15. I can see where people are coming from with the Mraaj'Dar hate, but I actually like him the most. All the other characters (aside from the orc) are kind of too "creepy cultist" for me. We're a guild of people who murder for money. We're the only guild directly associated with serving a deity, but still. Cut the pretense please. I don't understand the love for Lucien either. He's the worst with the creepiness. He's actually the reason it took me so long to join the Brotherhood. A guild of people who are gonna act like him? No thank you. I guess a part of it is, I don't like a game where everybody likes my character. Unless it's something like Infamous where the entire crowd beats up your enemies for you. But you have to earn that, it's not given from the start. Thinking about it from his point of view, why should he be falling all over you just because you're a member of the same band of murderers as him? It was more of an accomplishment to finally earn his favor, unlike everyone else who lovebombed you from the start. And plus he was funny. He even breaks the fourth wall a little in his merchant dialog. "You got a deal, idiot... Now I can sell it for five times its worth!" Every merchant does that, but he's the only one that admits it. Getting the orders to kill Mraaj'Dar along with everyone else was the worst bit for me, and RP-wise was the reason my character Jangle-Tail finally decided to quit the guild. I'll admit there was also a little Feline Solidarity influencing his actions... J-T also researches his targets and decides on whether or not he wants to go through with a contract. He also has his own set of morals that, though skewed from the norm, aren't something he's willing to break, even if it means having some ghost come after him while he sleeps. (This is a little off-topic, but I kinda wanna say it. It's actually been a little unsettling, reading certain posts here talking about how Lucien is such a sexy and charismatic person, when to me he just screams "I am a cult-master. Relinquish your will to me and I'll give you affection. But only if you do what I say. If you disobey me, I'll show you no mercy." The whole "loving family" bit is also a tried and true cult tactic. I mentioned it before, "lovebombing". I dunno, maybe lots of posters here are into D/s. That's alright. It just unnerves me to see someone like Lucien be characterized that way. The creepiness would probably count as my second choice for "worst part of the DB". Yeah, Sorry for the tangent, it's just been on my mind.)
