  1. I successfully installed Wrye Bash and then installed BOSS by activating the installer in the Oblivion Folder. BOSS works perfect when I click on it, it goes to the internet and updates the masterlist. Now when I activate Wrye Bash the BOSS logo does not show at the bottom of the panel. I also tried to install BOMM, but once I go through the procedure, it tells me that I need to create an empty masterlist. I try to do this using Settings to no avail. I looked at the help files on Wrye Bash, BOSS, BOMM and the internet but can't find anything related to this. Please, if anyone knows how to work this out, once again please let me know.

  3. Hi! Golden Oriole: Thanks for the advice, I will try to install Kvatch Aftermath and let you know if it worked.
  4. Hi Everybody! I just downloaded Better Cities by Bananasplit and was amazed at this awesome Mod, now I walk the City for hours visiting every nook and cranny. I saw that all the cities where there except Kvatch, I have a file called Kvatch Aftermath and I was wondering if there would be a problem install it. The thing is that Kvatch Aftermath requires CURP (Cyrodiil Upgrade Resource Pack), which is also a major mod and I don't want to mess my setup. Is there someone with some experience with this? If so, I would be very grateful for the advice. May the Nine bless you all.
  5. Hi! AlfredTetzlaff. I'm sorry I didn't answer before but I'm so involved with installing and reinstalling this game by making mistakes with downloaded Mods. I when possible OBMM but some Mods requires BAIN,Cobl,Obse and you name it. I use Wrye Bash but for some reason when I try to merge Mods, as suggested by this program, people become bold headed, eyes are completely black and you name it. I don't know why but not all NPCs are bold and black eyed. You know, I'm still looking for which of the two Mods I should use, I have Better Cities and also Cyrodill Upgrade Resource Pack. Also I wonder if I could have a combination of the two. Maybe some one out there has already and experience with these mods. The thing is that I have made mistakes installing Mods in the past that ended up in an unsolvable mess. Well if you have any idea about these two Mods, please let me know. Thanks many time friend.
  6. Hi! AlfredTetzlaff, many thanks for your help, it was great. CURP - Cyrodiil Resource Pack is a large Mod that enhances the game's experience, it also have additional Mods included called CUOs. I believe CUO are Cities Upgrade Overhaul but not sure. CUOs add quests and modifies the cities when installed. One of the Mods included in CURP is Kvatch Aftermath, the rebuilding of the City after reclaiming it from the Daedras. I'm relatively new with games so I hope I didn't make any mistakes with all this explanation. Once more I want to thank you for the assistance.
  7. Hi Everyone! I don't know if this is the right place to ask these question but please let me know. I've been using OBMM successfully in converting Mods to OMOD, thanks to the help I got from here. Now I spend more time searching for Mods than playing the game. Now I have a new question as to how can I archive the new converted OMODs in case I loose my Oblivion game and want to reinstall those OMODs. I also see "OCD list" button in the OBMM second panel, I have search the web for this but to no avail. One more question, I downloaded Better Cities along with CURP and before I make a mistake I would like to know if is possible to install both at the same time. The reason I ask is that I understand that both changes and add buildings to the cities.
  8. I have installed several mods and they were working fine until I started playing with Wrye Bash. I'm trying to learn the features on this program so I started to look into the different aspect of it. I must have clicked on something that altered my games structure because once I left this program, Oblivion would not launch at all. I took the last saved game and tried to load it with no avail. So my question is, does my save games contain all the backward files or not? Do I need to back up my Data Folder also? Like always, thanks for any help you can give me.
  9. Hi! Thank you friends. I think that with your advice I will install Kvatch Aftermath. Thanks again.
  10. Hi! All of you: I have downloaded Kvatch Aftermath and also Kvatch Rebuilt. I would like to see destroyed places rebuilt but I like to know which of the two mods should I install. Thanks in advance for any help.
  11. Hi! I installed Oblivion Goty on Windows 7 Premium and followed the instructions to install the game out of Program Files (86). I downloaded and installed Battlehorn.esp and checked it with OBMM. OBMM showed a conflict in Record Group (Cell) for Battlehorn.esp and Knights.esp. I'm having constant crashes and I wonder if this is the problem. Thanks for any assistance
  12. Everybody out there, Hello! Since I started to visit this Forum I have nothing to say but that I find everyone very friendly and attentive. I wish to learn as much as possible and maybe in the future I can be of assistance to someone. An example is that there is a showcase inside the main bedroom at Battlehorn Castle. Every time you put something in it the woman that takes care there opens the damn thing and everything disappear. I remember someone had the same problem in one of the forums. I learn that pressing Tilde,♠ pointing the mouse at the showcase and left clicking on it brought the ref. #. I then typed lock and voila, nothing lost anymore. I know this is baby stuff compared to you people out there but one has to start somewhere. So please, if you have any recommendation I will appreciate it. I can tell you that now Oblivion is super much more fun. Qwaxalot, do you mean your are around there too? Hammonds, I went to the sight and copied all the instructions for OBMM, thank you. xa_chan, I went and installed Oblivion in Program files\Microsoft Games\Oblivion instead of allowing Oblivion to install itself in Programs Files (x86). I don't know the reason why but the game doesn't crash at all. I mean, I've been playing for two hours with no crash. Once more thanks everyone with best regards, Hanker109
  13. I can't believe it, I was born in Marseille, France in 1941. My mother and father were french from Eperney. I'm a senior but my mind is on the twenties and I love computer games, specially RPGs. I understand when people talk to me in French but I can't hardly read it. I tell you, the world is full of surprises, by the way my name is Dominique Charoy but everyone calls me Nick for short. Those mods make a lot of difference in the game, it's another world altogether and that with only 5 including the ones I bought from Bethesda. I uninstalled Oblivion and then reinstalled it again, as you suggested, by putting it in a folder in the Microsoft Games area. Before, the game would crash every 5 or so minutes but with the new installation the crashes are no more. I was reading about OBMM and it states that it converts mods to OMOD, is that true with all MODS? I took 2 mods, Faces and Invisible Ring and using this program I converted them to OMOD. I notice that there is padlock in front of the OMOD files. I'm very much interested in looking for those favorite mods. Best Regards, Nick
  14. Hi! Hickory I want to thank you for the help you have given me, I was a little bit confused so that is why I did not thank you before. I really appreciate your time in assisting me in getting this game going well. There are so many options that I'm crawling to learn all there is. Thank you again. Nick
  15. Hi! xa_chan: I went to Tesnexus for the Wry Bash utility and Holly Cow! , there are 21 one files there, including Wry Bash Python. I downloaded the 289 archive full and the 290 update. I hope I downloaded the correct ones. I read somewhere that Oblivion could run up to 250 mods but you say you have over 300 of them. Is it too much to ask you for your favorite ones? After what you said I will uninstall Oblivion and install it back to the C:\Games folder as you said, this game crashes so much that I wonder how I'm still alive. I search for the meaning of OMOD but I can't find it, is it Oblivion Mods? I believe there should be a dictionary of all the Oblivion terms, abbreviations, etc. because they are so many and sometimes (for me most of the time) confusing. Well, now I going to reinstall the game. Thanks again, Nick
  16. Hi! xa_chan: As requested I'm listing all the mods that I have installed in Oblivion and they are in the same order as they appear on the Launcher Data File: BattlehornEnhanced.esp, DLC BattlehornCastle.esp, DLC MehrunesRazor.esp, DLC Shivering Isles.esp, Knights.esp, Oblivion.esm, and last Reznod_Mannequin.esp. I included the Oblivion.esm in order to show the way they are in the Data File. I tried to install KvatchRebuilt_1-1-15412.7z but when I checked marked these files, when I started the game, the program became a black screen. When I unmarked them the game started normal. The DLCs installed themselves. By the way, I installed this game on Windows 7. I thank you for taking time to help me,so far, have learned a lot from your advice. I see that in many instances these mods require other mods or utilities like OOO, Cobl, OMOD, obmm, obse and the list keeps going, this is like driving in an unknown large city without a map. I just starting to learn about them. The whole thing that got me into this was when I added Battlehorn Castle Enhance it said I needed some mannequins and where to get it. Now I have a quest to collect all kinds of armor and dress the mannequins. I'm having more fun with this that going out and fight. Best regards, Nick
  17. Hello friend! xa-chan: I wish I could say something better than thank you, your instructions are awesome and I really appreciate your help. I hope that the kudo I posted will show up. I have downloaded all the files you recommended and I will try to install them but, do I need to start a new game or just plug these with the actual game?
  18. Hello again xa_chan!: I believe that I'm getting into deep water here, I went searching for the OOO V1.32 but see so many options about patches, upgrades, and you name it, but as for the mod itself, I could not identify it even if it hits me in the face. I guess that being new to this makes every step hard. I guess that this is like doing weight lifting, no pain no gain. Well I have to thank you one more time for your help, which has been great. Best regards, Nick
  19. Hi! xa_chan: Thank you for the assistance, I will try the OOO since you say is the easier one. I downloaded Kvatch Rebuilt and it states that you can use either one. One more time, thank you. Best Regards
  20. I have downloaded some Mods for Oblivion Game of the Year Goty and some of them request to check mark OOO and/or FCOM in the Data area before you launch the game. I have look all over for the meaning of these files but being new to this has made it impossible. I some one out there can help me with this it will be greatly appreciated and have the blessing of Akatosh and the rest of the Nine.
