  1. Best AI/custom voice: Sofia Best looks: Barbarian Sunya All followers are either pretty, or have great AI. Wish those modders paired up creating them :D Now I've tried combining the two using CK (since I'm not really a fan of Sofia's looks, while Sonya looks HAWT), using Sonya's file as resource (and template), modifying Sofia's file (as Active), but I guess that's not how things work, since she ended up having a vanilla (ugly nord) head. I've tried renaming Sonya's .bsa archive so that Sofia's file can detect it (I've read that somewhere), but it had no effect. Can any experienced modder tell me how to do it properly?
  2. I've just bought a legendary edition of Skyrim and I'm practically stuck on character creation. Camera won't focus on face, instead the character is stuck in some slow "turn around" animation, flailing the head around too fast to set any detail on the face right.. most of the time I'm looking behind their ear.. it only happens with Females, males stand still like they should.. I originally suspected it was the newest version of Racemenu mod, but after deleting that and installing older version (2.1.5) those girls still flail around.. I'm getting desperate and I'm really starting to regret that purchase.. Females still flail around even with Racemenu shut down, so I don't have any idea what causes it.. Since it happens even after I deactivate ALL mods and play without SKSE, I must assume it's intended... so anyone got any idea how to stop females from flailing around stupidly?
  3. Could any skilled hair modder try to recreate some nicer dreadlocks styles for skyrim characters?   5. Well, I've seen Commander Maro's son killed in Markarth by "trespassing". I was supposed to kill the guy for Dark Brotherhood quest but guards kinda got him first while I was waiting for a clear sneak shot.
  6. I almost though this bug is uniquely affecting me.. seems like I'm at least not alone. Have any of you figured out which mod is causing it? or is it a general (though rare) skyrim bug? I'm affected by this lately, and I've been trying to figure it out ever since.. starting with my newest installed mods. I've already ruled out Ningheim Race, Moonlight Tales, Moonpath to Elsweyr and several small mods, but still no change. I feel like I've tried everything except reinstalling skyrim (which I don't want, since I have 168 active mods). I've tried deactivating most mods and sorting load order with BOSS.

Hello I accidentally shot myself with an explosive arrow (from SkyRe) - I shot at a wild wolf, not realizing that I have explosive arrows equipped instead of usual ones, and it blasted me to the ground. That would not be so bad, but when my character got up, camera did NOT switch back to character (aka was left locked in the ground), I still could move around and jump, open doors etc, but not attack (mouse buttons not working), and nothing I've tried got me control of my character back. I've tried scrolling (ofc), tfc to unlock & lock back camera, activating werewolf form to try to force it to 3rd person view, entering building, but to no avail. To my shock, even after restarting game and loading earlier save I found myself unable to do anything by mouse buttons, though activating werewolf form this time switched me into 3rd person view. Any advice how to fix this without reinstalling the game? I'm using about 100 mods, of which only SkyRe and Werewolf Upgrade (by undomir) actually conflict (Werewolf Upgrate overwrites werewolf scripts), but as I was shooting explosive arrows, I was clearly NOT in werewolf form, so I guess this is not the cause of this bug. Skyrim version 1.9.29 and SKSE 1.6.11 EDIT: my last option worked - turning on Skyrim with launcher instead of skse_launcher, saving the game (as I was able to move and attack) and then turning on the game with skse again. Although I have no clue what's causing this bug, so I can get it by quite any "killcam" move or knockdown animation.. (and there's PLENTY of those in SkyRe)
  8. As people may have noticed, there are currently 3 separate mods that are adding a playable version of Hrothmund's Axe to Skyrim. But this axe looks really small if you are using Zweihander animations, or any other animations that place 2handers on your shoulder while you're idle. This is because unlike most other 2handers, which are held close to the end of handle (like for example Steel Battleaxe), Hrothmund's Axe is held WAY closer to the middle, so the Axe's blade is too close to the character's head and therefore clipping through most hairstyles. Not to mention because of being held like this, when you swing it, it actually looks you have the range of a 1handed axe, but you are hitting targets at maximum 2h range, which looks very bad (killing by swinging an axe half a meter in front of somebody?) Therefore, is there anyone who could try to edit the mesh so the axe is held relatively in the same part of the weapon as Steel Battleaxe?
  9. Anyone else would like to see shock spells disintegrate the way they do in TES Online trailer? Currently, shocks disintegrate ONLY if you use shock spell on target that is bellow 15% HP already. The idea is to disintegrate ALL THE TIME, provided target dies from shock damage (or is affected by kind of shock DoT by the time of his death). Reasons: Unless you use vanilla spell system, you pretty much can't disintegrate even with perk - mostly you'll take 30-100% HP in one shot (unless you fight a dragon), so you never hit a target at 15% and less HP for it to activate. I could try to do it myself, but with my very limited knowledge of CK and no knowledge of scripts at all the only possible change I could do is setting HP percentage higher, and that would probably just mean that you could instakill anything with just sparks..
  10. hello Anyone has ever encountered a bug where after you are hit by dragon's frost breath, your movement speed gets PERMANENTLY reduced? I don't know what to think of it.. Seems like every time I get hit with it, my movement speed gets reduced by ~20% of the previous amount, so after a quite short combat I'm "dashing" at speed about 2x slower than walking - it looks ridiculous, but game gets unplayable and I have to reload older save. I'm running about 100 mods, but they they should work with each other nicely.. Dragon was an unnamed Blood Dragon (frost species) I was using 2 pieces of armor enchanted with the enchant from Deadly Dragons Armory "Nimble Diamond" (+%movement speed) to counter the fact that ACE makes you move really slow wearing heavy armor and having weapon drawn) I tried to fight the dragon with <100% frost resist and >100% frost resist, nothing has changed, except I ofc received damage while not being 100% resistant.. it's like if "chilled" effect never went off and was stacking instead... but it isn't visible in "active effects" either.. my magic mods that might (but mostly shouldn't) affect frost breath: ACE Phenderix's Magic Evolved Deadly Dragons Spells Naruto Overhaul Phenderix's Ultimate Magic System Apocalypse Spell Package Spell Combos (possibly, but combos shouldn't affect player and they shouldn't be permanent either) Forgotten Magic Auto Magic Scaling but really none of these mods should affect dragon's frost breath.. anyone has any idea what may be the cause?
  11. I'm still searching (since this morning) for a "close enough" armor on the nexus, but every single armor is either showing 80% skin or has skirt long enough to touch the ground.. And if I'm not mistaken there is neither this hood on shoulders instead of covering head. overall if someone could do this it could even serve as a starting point for bazillions of retexes and remeshes and benefit the game greatly.

Anyone up to it? I'm afraid I know nothing about working with models so I can't really help and I can't see ANY robe that would work good with Way of the Monk or any other unarmed combat.. and since my character looks almost exactly like hinata I would really appreciate it (and a lot of fans of Naruto Overhaul too :D)

I've managed to create such scar by modifying the femalehead.dds texture of temptress race, but that simply ain't right (even if it looks okay.. for being drawn in MSPaint :D) anyway, I've abandoned the project, since there is no hair nor armor even slightly looking like the picture
  14. Hello everybody, would it be possible to create a replacer for vanilla scar1? (the one under left eye that looks like knife wound) I'd like it to cut through eye from the eyebrow height to the mouth height (approx) - so both under eye and above eye (if you still don't know how that looks like, look here: http://narutopics.bravehost.com/myPictures/Kakashi7.jpg ) I'm trying to create a witch-like caster, and I wanted hazel(or kiwi)-green right eye, solid white blind left eye (problematic too, since every mod's blind eye is freaking silver... I wanted plain white eyeball without pupil and iris) - with a giant scar going through that eye.. Also I'm having problems with Ashen and Temptress races and scars - it seems like only about 1.5-2cm of the scar1 are visible and the rest is just cut off (so it starts way under eye and looks like scratched cheek :S) - anyone has any idea what's causing it?
  15. Anyone got experience with savepcface <name> ? I've tried to model Lindsay Stirling's face and export it to replace lydia's face. But when I imported that face data to CK to change Lydia's face, it nullified all non-vanilla face enhancements - custom hair, hair color, all data of makeup (even though makeup was vanilla :S) All I've got left was eye shape, eye color, nose and mouth.. all other data was lost in a void... I don't know why bethesda even cared to implement such lackluster command.. is there any other way to copy your ingame created face to NPC with all mods considered (mainly apachiihair and extended color sliders) this was that face on my character: http://i45.tinypic.com/sor13m.jpg this was the face I got on Lydia: http://i45.tinypic.com/a3d1l5.jpg (after trying to change her hair again, because I've got her default ash gray hair with her default hairstyle..) as you can see they look QUITE different lol :D
  16. I'm so excited about them and Dawnguard is still delaying... and there are no mods that add any kind of xbow to the game (despite numerous gun mods) Anyone's up to it? I don't know that much about modding, but it shouldn't be so hard to add some "hand crossbow" version at least, that would be held just like those guns. As always, crossbows should have powerful shots but firing very slowly.. so far the best I could do (since I have zero modeling skill) was make a custom bow in CK that had very slow fire rate (slower than daedric) but more damage - so it works like "snipe one good shot from stealth, change weapons and charge in to finish the enemy" But till I could place it in the game, CK crashed (as I clicked NEW in the chest loot), ruining all I've changed, so I gave up :S

  18. I guess "IsInDangerousWater" means you are swimming in streams, so the water can carry you (and if you stay afk there possibly kill you)

  20. I'm tired of that stupid Skyrim shadows. Every character looks totally stupid with one side of the face glowing and the other side so dark you can't even see it. I mean, it's a bright, sunny day, my character is standing in the middle of the street, and half of his skin is absurdly dark. To even see a face I often have to stand near fire and facing it.
  21. Skyrim is too frikkin cool for being nude. I have nothing against slightly bigger boobs and slightly more revealing armor, but making complete nude mods with boobs of the size of planet, that's just fugly and disgusting. I don't like that kind of thing even in porn, not to mention PC games..
  22. well then, to combination spells: let's say you combine 3 words and cast it: a) spell is in the database ("known" word) - you will cast it, because the effect for it was found b) spell is not in the database yet ("too powerful" for you to use) - after casting it, you will DIE (or if you don't want - you will wake up after 24 hour coma :biggrin: ) ideas for spells from book: brisingr, v1 - enhance your current weapon to create a powerful blast on impact brisingr, v2 - creates a fire on target place (possible to use to light up caverns, etc) brisingr, v3 - when holding legendary sword Brisingr, it will start to burn, dealing bonus damage and leaving enemies on fire jierda, v1 - catapult victim into air, fall damage probably kills them jierda, v2 - break legs of all enemies in front of you, cutting some HP and greatly slowing/rooting them (~10 stamina per enemy) jierda, v3 - break arms of all enemies in front of you, cutting some HP and making them drop weapons (~10 stamina per enemy) ..... mor'amr - opens locked doors/chests (possible more variants for each lock difficulty) ..... btw, to make magics feel more natural: - once you learn a word, you will learn only it's BASIC meaning - from NPCs, books and "meditation" with other mage, you can uncover all other meanings of the word (not for free.. NPCs may want you to pay or do a quest for them first) (if my suspicion is correct and shouts are recognized by ID, not the actual audio file or name - this means you can add almost unlimited number of meanings (spells) to a single word) Hero could start as a simple farmer in any of the villages around the world, with no combat skills at all to start with (well, to be fair, give him few basic points in archery :D). Now we can decide if we want a book-like story, or free open world. The first will include a companion that will give you the necessary quests to learn to fight, cast, ride a horse and everything else, and with who you will wander the world. Or you can decide to make an open world, where you can freely travel wherever you like Cities should be big, and each of them should have at least 1 secret path inside (aka if you chose to be warden, you can't walk into Galbatorix' city via front gate. When you talk to citizens of the enemy city you are visiting, you gotta be careful what you say.. one bad word against the empire will make them call the guards to set you into jail. To guard AI - they should not recognize you, unless you promenade in front of them like an idiot. It's also good to have a spare Beggar/soldier/whatever clothes on, you will be able to fool them better (and therefore pass even to semi-guarded areas like Shipyard etc)

Dunno if it was suggested already (I'm not about to read whole 60 pages), but: MAGICS: - completely delete all spells, leave (and expand) just shouts (erase CDs of them). - make magicka add to Stamina, and don't show Magicka anymore on UI (larger "energy" pool) - make shouts cost stamina. When your stamina is gone, make shouts cost HP. (make it so if you have 20 stamina left and want to shout a 40 stamina shout, it will take 20 stamina and only 20 hp, not full 40 HP because there is not enough pure stamina to cast). - there is no minimum limit, so if you shout without having enough HP for it left, you WILL die. - make special usable artifacts (gems would do best) that will be able to store your life energy (stamina - make a spell that drains 100% of your current stamina and add it to usable item) - whenever you are out of stamina, you can activate the artifact to get another layer of stamina to drain - casting again will drain stamina from artifact, not from your body, until it's empty or you activate it again to shut it down. To balance it, I would suggest putting a 24 hour CD on the "fill" spell, so you won't end up having 11048241804214 stamina reserve after few minutes in town. Words of Power: - should be able to learn them from NPCs, Books, Altars, Armor, or just by hearing someone say them. Combined effect: - make combinations of different words do different things (like in books) - that will require new interface options to make a new words by combining those you already know - this way you can create thousands of spells. otherwise thumbs up for the idea, I would very much like to play that.
  24. better for rebalancing magic would be if magic skills actually increased the effectiveness of spells, instead of reducing mana costs. don't know about you, but I would rather cast 2 destructive spells that cuts down almost all my mana BUT do some real damage, than spam spells like an idiot while doing no damage whatsoever.. take some Restless Draugr (or better) - if you have just flames early game, you have to spend like 2 entire mana pools to take him down. in dungeons, it's at least pretty easy to actually HIT with the spell all the time. When you're out in the open, fighting bandits, they will dodge about 90% spells (if you are spamming, because you can't be very accurate holding your mouse steady while you're mashing left-right-left-right-left-right.... while still tying to follow enemies with cursor.
  25. yeah, especially male eyeshapes are ridiculously stupid. most of them could be used only on character of age 70+.. would be nice to make some "usable" ones.. there is just 1 good eyeshape for males, and it doesn't look anywhere near nice on those muscular monstrosities. Females at least have some damn nice ones, so you can pick yours.
