  1. > did you install that program that it said to install? > did you run it under x86 folder Program files if you have that type of windows?
  2. > not the mod request forum > playing with a controller on pc is not ideal....it handicaps you unnessaraly, as you already found a mod, but declined soley based on input device prefrence > look at perk mods that add a whole slew of perks, one of them might have a perk where with suffiencet sneak skill you move faster.
  3. maybe Robco Certified mod? with the crazed inventor perk (or you can just buy one off a merchant) you could get several safe bots to follow you, they work quite well and are reliable....though they do seem to hold a limitless amount of items though.
  4. > none that seems to exist. I know a mod like that exists for Skyrim, but all plans and thoughts into having a player owned shop have ended in faliure. > you could invest in Pronto's shop in Paradise Falls (meaning you get a discount), but thats about it.
  5. > Sometimes NMM can be buggy, in which case learn how to install by hand. > did you activate them via NMM, most people think its download and presto play...but you have to activate them in the nmm menu, no green is a no go. > The red triangle means its missing a mesh (due to nmm bug/ improper install)
  6. Prove Your Worth - A Last Stand A fun feral ghoul onslaught at the Memorial outside of Goodsprings Prove Your Worth 3 - Defend Camp Guardian A more miltary-on-military onslaught, quite challening as the sh oot back, vs. ghouls charging, Siege of the Dead One of my favorites, has the feel of Left for Dead/ Walking Dead/ Z Nation and it will scare you. While they are all fairly stable, they also can be a tad rough o your setup, if you only have an averge pc, but if you got the hardware...go get'em (they do have lite version too, if your pc need some help)
  7. > Double check your archive invalidation, turn it off and then on again (doable using FOMM) fixes most minor texture issues.
  8. > Whats you mod list/ load order? 99% of the problems reported on these forums trace back to mods, the most common occurences being: - Mod incompatiblity - improper installation/uinstallation of mods - Missing requirements (ex. FOSE, or Not having Broken Steel) > What have you tried to fix the problem, so we can avoid the back and forth of "I've already tried that but it don't work"
  9. Problem could be: > corrupt save. try loading another save > persistant crashing, seems you have a missing mod requirement, and/or an improperly installed or unistalled mod...they casue problems > mod incompatiblity, try using FOMM, BOSS, or NVEdit to determine mod conflict...
  10. Only merging mods to get the number down. Or you can do a mod purge...decide what mods you can't play without, and cut the rest. I usually endup with a bodyreplacer, 2-3 mods that change gameplay elements (like scrap metal and wonderglue for universial repairs), and quite a few quest mods, and maybe 3-4 armor/addon mods.
  11. Try this Replacing Music While the op of the thread wanted to replace the music, if you want to change the ambient music or make your own ambient markers etc...then look thru that thread.
  12. If you fixed the problem, then post the solution, so others who have the same problems can google it and find the answer without making another thread...
  13. Well I could have told you that. What I don't know is what I haven't done correctly. I followed this stupid video with the aforementioned ENB. What do I need to do, please. Anything else that I should mention? Mods that'd effect it? Setup? And if you went back and carefully looked at your new vegas folder and read the mod's requirements and readme rather then just jump in blind, you probably would have fixed your own problem by now. I watched the video...and > did you copy all of the enb files into your new vegas folder....NOT your Data folder (which is inside your NV folder) >for enbs do you have an exe folder in your NV vegas folder? if not make one. > did you move that one .dll file into the exe folder in the NV folder? > did you disable the steam overlay? > did you dis able v sync, antianlising to zero, and anti filtering to zero on the vanilla launcher? specific enough for you?
  14. ITMs...I have no idea....but if its the same thing...they were called dirty edits in BOSS. Mods may have dirty edits...it should be okay to clean those (check for a notice, that says not to first, just in case) Any of the ESM's from Bethesda do not clean...do no touch, do nothing....cleaning the offical esm's of dirty edits will casue severe headaches, heartaches and have been directly/indirectly resonsible to the death of one newbir mod user.
  15. Welcome to the Forums that most people overlook....I did the same thing and then I found the forums in the hype leading up to Skyrim's release...and I've been here every since.

    beauty

Beauty is both a part of nature and a part of our nature. - Beauty in nature is not as superficial as ours can be, and some people claim that beuaty in nature doesn't exist, but just look at animals looking for a mate. They may not have the same terms, or values that we humans place on beauty...to them its all about the mating game....whose got the strongest body, the bushiest tale, the most shapley muzzle. (ok human's nature of beaty does cross into this, but there is more to it) - Beauty in our nature is soley based on what we desire, want, and how we were rasiesd. Some features such as being healthy, and being capable of bearing kids tend to be the holdovers of the animal that is within us. and that is the crossover of natural beauty into manmade human beauty nature. The rest of it, looks, prefreances of various "things" is all up to the indivisual's taste, his own nature of beauty as defined by him.
  17. Well, NMM tends to not like certain games. For Fallout 3 and New Vegas, I would use Fallout Mod Manger. See if that makes a diffrence.
  18. > have you tried to open the chests (with a targested unlock console command, and just take all the items? However if he isn't respawning/ resetting his inventory then use the above method to remove the offending items....problem solved... > or you can open console, click on the npc in question, and then type "resurrect", and your npc has died, been reborn, asn has a reset inventory...
  19. > what is your mod order/ load list, the culprit could be hiding there > What modded radio / radio stations are you using, it could be that mod, as 9/10 the problem stems from a mod that affects the problem area
  20. > sounds like you either: - installed incorrectly (everyone has at some point) - failed to install all parts of the mod - failed to meet all requiements set by the mod author
  21. > well...not that I don't trust you, but post your mod list/ load order so we can have a look. > It could be UI related if you have any UI mods. > Recent mod installs, updates, or creative tinkering in the game files that we should know about?
  22. Well off the cuff you shouldn't have anything replacing anything. Unless NMC Texture Pack also includes weapons in which case it would override/ be overidden depending if you installed it or the Weapon retex pack first. However If what your refering to as folder merging, its fine. just hit yes.
  23. > Having multiple accounts....thats against the rules, if you thought your account had that bad of an issue then you should have contacted the staff. > Soley relying on an automatied Mod Manger is ill advised as you are at the machines mercy. > Did you even look thru the forums before making new accounts and trying the most extreme methods possiable "Unable to download from the nexus" Here is the highlights: Either a busy server, and/or you have to clean out your NMM folder of all the partial downloads. > Antivirus is for viruses, and Malwarebytes is for malware, diffrent programs.
  24. weell if that list that you copy/pasted is how your game loads, then you need to redo and run thru BOSS and then triple check it. Maninthing thats wrong right of the bat is that HUD.esm is above the FalloutNV.esm....in the world of modding and load order that is hearsey. FalloutNV.esm is always loaded first. Poor load order while primarly causes crashes, will also cause performace issues.
