well the events of the book take place 40 years after oblivion. and skyrim takes place like 200 years after oblivion, so it's already happened . get your times right

also i heard that "Tales of" games are awful. is that true?

yeah, i have phantasy star 2 3 and 4 on my psp, from the genesis collection. difficult though. but they're good.

i have final fantasy 6 advance for my gba sp,i'll get the other 5 if i can find them, though i doubt it. i've played chrono trigger before but i haven't beat it,i might pick it up and try it again.

but i'm wanting just nes and super nes rpg's. i have zelda 2 . the gold cartridge is turning black.but any good nes rpg's beside dragon quest and final fantasy? i'm sure there are. as fro the snes. i'm thinking secret of man and secret of evermore. and does actraiser count as an rpg? i think the second one just has the side scrolling aspect. also didn't the first 3 dq games get re released on the snes? did those over come to america or were they japan only remakes?. i know there are the gbc remakes. if the snes versions were never released here, i might get them since the DQ graphics for the nes hurt my eyes a bit.i also read DQ 4 was re released on ps1. i'll get that if i can find it. otherwise i can just search Ebay or Amazon. also. is the soul blazer series any good?

so, i recently acquired a hankering to play some old rpgs. so i've dusted off my NES and SNES systems and i'm soon going to by some games from a local games store that carries old games. but i some opinions on what good rpgs i should get. i already decided i'd get the dragon warrior/quest games.

well,that was rude of you crudius, getting mad won't solve any problems now will it? and i agree with Balakirev, you do need some cheering up. also, i think it's about time we get a playable demo of the game. it'll also give us a head start on mod ideas if we find something we don't like.

yeah we SAW the dual wielding in the E3 demo. but how can you say that Oblivion's fanbase will decline? just because a new game is coming out doesn't mean people will stop liking the old ones. it is true that a lot of people will concentrate on Skyrim when it releases, but if you're that worried about mods, just make them yourself. lol, but yeah, i understand your concerns, but decline happens to a lot of games. so it will decline a bit once skyrim is out and the mods start being made. but i don't think you should really be worried too much.

so you ran it through steam? i usually started it right from the folder i put it in, never did it using steam before.

did you put OBSE in the same place as your Oblivion.exe?

yes, Daggerfall mods would be interesting, even if it is an old game. i'm playing it for the first time today, so i'd like some mods here if it's possible.

by the way, i didn't write this story, ComputerAngel did. she mailed it to me and asked me to post this first part for her. she doesn't have a computer at home. so she's only able to post when she's at school. which is why she asked me to post. so most of the rest of the story will be posted by her. unless she's at home and wants me to do it for her. post some constructive criticism please.

Long ago, long before humans existed, the Divine lived on Earth. They were powerful beings that could control the elments, Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Only two beings were granted the honor of wielding the most powerful elements of all, Light and Darkness. Serenity was the wielder of light and Dameon was the wielder of darkness. Throughout the years, Serenity and Dameon ruled over the Divine beings peacefully and kept balance over the world. Unfortunately, that all changed one day. Dameon had come across the scroll of Thedas, a powerful scroll that housed a demon wolf named Fenrir, an ancient demon that was locked away by the first Divine, for they feared the power Fenrir held. Fenrir held great hatred towards the Divine, and planned to have them destroy themselves since he couldn`t do it from inside the scroll. Fenrir manipulated Dameon, led him to believe that Serenity was planning on killing Dameon and absorbing his power so that she could gain full control over the Divine. Dameon felt furious. How dare she betray me, he thought angrily........thats all i got so far. tell me what you think about it.
