  1. What if I don't even release the mod, and just use it for personal use. well, it is still probably illegal still, but since they cant see it, they cant really do anything about it. So you are probably good then.
  2. You can not use them. Using parts of other games in skyrim is considered violating copy right laws and is illegal.
  3. I want to say yes, I am fairly sure no matter what you cant use parts of previous games in mods.
  4. The Rise of Death Category: Quest and Adventures!!! Additional infomation: The Rise of Death is mod based around the old myth of Death originally being a living breathing person, who was then chosen to guide people to the afterlife. IN this mod, The tomb which holds death has been opened, by who? by what? Only the Dragon Born can find out. The story will follow a non-linear path with some side quests and choices to be made greatly affecting what will happen in the story and(hopefully) Skyrim itself. The mod will take you through dungeons with MULTIPLE ways to go all differing in difficulty enemies and rewards. As well as a large new world space will be present, a place lost in time, the city where Death was chosen, cursed forever by the gods. But the fun doesn't stop there, the mod will also include many new weapons and armor, and maybe even some new buildings, landscape etc(that is still to be decided). Talent: I am looking for basically anyone who thinks they can contribute. There is a place for people who do all things. As long as you can accomplish the task given, I will not expect any more from you. SO if you are interested in this mod and would like to help or know more just PM me.
  5. Using Meshes from other games violates copy right laws. You cant.
  6. EDIT: I figured one of them out so its only one thing now. 1. In some parts of the mod, only some, the enemies there will not move. But if attack them they will begin to move again and attack back. What happened here? I know it is not the navmesh bug because enemies in the same cell acted normal.

  8. Or it would just be a mod adding a different variant using the animations etc. from dawngaurd.
  9. NO, you would not be able to take anything from the past games. Doing so would violate copy right issues and spark a whole bunch of stuff. The animations would have to be from scratch or modified from skyrim ones.
  10. I am not much with animation but you can get a free trail for 3ds max or if you are a student you can get it free.
  11. What if one was that it made ethereal clones of yourself. They would have low skills etc. but have a high aggro effect to draw many enemies away from you. AS would a group of many of the same person would cause.
  12. Thanks that did work...somewhat I just have to move some more stuff around to get it to work as for #1..anyone else know how to do that?
  13. how bout a shout that picks up jagged rocks in the area and hurls them at the direction of the shout. knocking enemies down, causing bleeding damage, as well as kicking up dirt to hinder sight. another one could be one that forces who ever is hit by it(with some execptions) to become your follower. a side effect to add balance is that they do not regernate health and their max hp is halved or something along those lines. what do you all think?
  14. I dont know about an invisible wall but you could just make it down a cliff far enough so if they jumped down to it they would die.
  15. Thank you, But I am not much of a scripter. I understand how to use mostly everything except that auto property. hmmm i have been trying to make a script for this but it is not working well. Is there any chance you could make one(I can fill in the variables and those parts, I just cant get it to all work together.)
  16. 1. How do you make it so it is always snowing, I made a new world space I want it to be snowing all the time as well as be darker all the time. How would i do this? 2. Can you script an event and have say a rock or building fall off something somewhere when you pass through a marker? kind of was thnking at some point having an avalanche or something, so is it possible? Any help would be great. THANKS!

  18. So I want to make a event where at a certain marker, the player will no longer be able to move and the screen will shake. Along with this, a voice will boom at them. Can anyone help with this? I have the script for stopping the player. Any help would be great thanks!

  20. I thought I would start a thread about obviously how to do certain things in the modding world. Post answers or questions. Ill start: Does anyone know how to add voices to be said. Kinda of like the graybeards calling for you in the beginning of the game?
