nope doesn't set it for me ether.. it has proven to be able to unset the read-only flag but not reset it for some reason

most good 3rd party mod managers set the Plugins.txt to read-only when done to stop the game from resetting once launched.. I have no idea why one as big as NMM would ignore such a useful and simple fix such as this.. Even if its just a stop-gap until a proper method if found (most likely with the GECK's release) It's still better then what we have now....

I can do that too, However I would like the game to run properly when ever possible because you never know what the underline cause is and how it might mess up later.. Like break mods or DLC's later making it easier to track and fix now then trouble shoot later after many more changes

As the topic says my game crashes every time it tries to enter the Pre-war Vault 111. I.E. during the new game prologue or trying to use the COC command on another game.. As far as I know I didn't install any mods that effects Vault 111 at all but will include my plugins.txt just to be sure. Post War V111 load just fine as does the rest of the prologue cells Any thoughts would be appreciated..

I could be wrong but I think ATM the problem is FO4 has added movment physics to hair modders are still trying to figure out.. this get harder the longer the hair is... give it time and it will get sorted out and start showing up.. I for one was hoping to see more male long hair mods too

Well that's where I lose the trail... Scripting and I have never been on friendly terms.. Add the fact that Scripting knowledge for this game is limited still until the GECK is released or the FO4Edit team track down more info. This might be a more long term project.. But in pasted games I have seen Modders wright scripts able to store the player state and reapply it later so I'm sure the same will be possible in this one as well.. -

I might be nothing but if you watch as you or any NPC enter the armor the whole thing goes though a swap.. I'm thinking its actually completely replacing the PC or NPC with a PA actor, So the effects don't stack because the other gear is no longer in play until you "exit" the armor are the original actor is restored... What you are proposing might be possible but will need scripting functions and maybe F4SE to work.. I.E. a script that stores the active values and effects of the actor and re-apples them to the PA actor -
I have been think about the stabilized mod on PA arms as well... To me it would seem that as a military combat platform weapon stabilization would be a basic function of even the PA frame...

I 2nd this.. it bugged me that Piper would just abandon Nat and her paper even after your "talk"... or Nick would just forget about his agency.. Other then Deacon the rest are ether homeless or already live at a settlement though

Disable or prolong Sentry Bot movment overheat

Edit: I found a value in the sentry bot race menu "sentrybotmaxheatlevel" set a stock 35. Using the in game console I upped it to 70 with the Setav command and it did take much longer for it to overheat. but also seem to take longer to cool as well.. But I didn't have time to test it well before having to go to work.. (Damn real life getting in the way =P) What I can't find is what effects the heat generation.. I figured it would be a globle like the power armor core drain is but I didn't seem to see anything that looks right yet.. -
I would like to see a mod that will disable the heat build up a Sentry Bot has just when moving.. with companions mods staring to show and even the stock hacking of one makes it half useless when you have to stop and wait every 100 ft. for it to cool down if you want to travel with it.. Or even trying to follow the prototype one from the scrapyard anywhere.. Best case would be to leave the combat heat build up alone just kill the movement heat but a disable all overheating will be a ok stop-gap mod till the GECK..

GRA's 12 gauge ammo causing corruption

Well an update I seem to have tracked part of the problem to somguy2000's "The Inheritance" but now I need to see where its conflicting (with GRA itself or with GRA integration) -
I have an interesting issue when ever I save with any shotgun loaded with GRA's 12 gauge ammo my save will be corrupted (infinite loading screen). The only mod I have that I know would effect that ammo is GunRunners Arsenal Integration Mod by Lopham which has not been a problem before. I have tested it on multiple characters and it also does not matter what type of save (quick, auto or manual) or type of shotgun always the same result. I have also tested other forms of GRA ammo (40mm grenade, 5.56m match etc) and they all seem to save and load fine. I have added a copy of my plugins.txt in case someone spots a conflicting mod that I didn't think of. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.... (note the point lookout type double barrel shotgun added doublebarrelshotgun.esp has no effect on GRA and can not use GRA ammo)

I am having a problem with the converter tool for the Real Teeth mod used to fix the "stuck teeth" problem.. I follow the instructions but it seems like it is bugged and can't make or find the files it needs and nothing is placed in the out folder. I have tried different drives, running it as admin and disabling my AV \ spyware programs with no change.. Attached it the output from the cmd. Any help would be appreciated.. on a side note I remember back in the DOS days sometimes when an older program had to make temp files running it on too fast of computer would cause it to error due to not having time to do so before looking for them.. Looking at the output I wounder if it's a similar issue here?...

Well she started a new game and so far removing one mod from there and running LOOT has seemed to helped a lot, Though I am still resorting some of the mods that LOOT moved out of a working order.. Like some of jinjishu's Weightless mods don't work if they are too high in the order..

In a recent help request post I made I learned that a certain site had been banned. And after a staff member answered my request for clarification I understood the reasons why it was.. However searching the site for the reason didn't help me understand on my own or do I have any way to know about what sites are Taboo here without posting one by mistake.. So I suggest a new pinned topic in the "Forum rules and warnings" or maybe a new sub forum there as was done for "Closed accounts" listing any and all taboo sites with more detailed reasons for the banning.

I ran LOOT and there was some improvement but not much. The only real warnings came from one mod that was stable (player home made before the CK was released) and another that we haven't had active in along time just never deleted form the folder. However going by posts from there I did deactivate two mods from ****** that where know to cause issues which might still be hurting the save file with missing scripts and hidden quests. I told her to start a new game and let me know if it helps... @Thandal Ah.. understood. Thank you

<site not allowed> is a banned site on the Nexus dont bring it up again. also make sure she reads through these troubleshooting things so 'mistakes' dont happen again. anyways have her run LOOT and get back to me: https://loot.github.io/ ok I will run it on her computer later or tomorrow.. Also I am not trying to press the issue but, Is there a post that details why it is a banned site? I'm just trying to understand the logic of why is all. A search of the forum didn't help

So I made the mistake of letting my girlfriend on to Nexus and <site not allowed> unsupervised and install stuff on her own. Well now her game stability is very poor. I done what I can to try to sort the order and find conflicts but I could use some help. So if anyone can see a glaring issue any help would be appreciated.. I am attaching her plugins.txt, It is quite long (Her game folder itself is now over 65Gb)
