I have another Graphics card, a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT. Would that be better than the AMD one?

Okay, I've looked up different mods and did what I could but can't seem to get the game running as smooth as I'd like. Not sure if anyone here has some ideas that would help me out. :wallbash: Upon starting the game it told me to run on high. I have the following installed; (Bethesda) HD textures installed, fps background booster, windows mode, bethesda Hi-Res DLC Optimized, Realistic Lighting with Customization, Unofficial Skyrim Patch, W.A.T.E.R. Using NMM for almost everything and BOSS for load order. Everything else is just items, armor, weapons, smithing overhaul, nothing I would think that makes the game work more. I'd like to have the game running smooth and still look good is why I ask this. PC specs: Windows 7 64 bit RAM (installed) 10 GB (9.77 GB usable) AMD FX 6120 Six Core Processor 3.50 GHz Nothing awesome or anything but it should be smoother with that kinda specs right? Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I'm missing something. Heard there was a mod to make the game use multi-core but thought that was fixed in a patch. Also tried HighAlgoBoost but it made things fuzzy when moving...(maybe I'm using it wrong) gave me a headache and still only a slight improvement. Thanks for any help. :biggrin:

I would really love to see an a sari race mod. The blue ladies from mass effect. Would also like multi shades of blue, green and purple if able. If body shape is an option cbbe and unp are good. Thanks :-)

(Skip-able) So, I buy the elder scrolls games on console first for a year and then buy the PC version. I do this to just play the game and then by the time a year is up, a ton of great mods are out and most of the kinks are worked out of them. well, its about that time. So, I'm getting back into modding and would like to know where to start. It's been a year and most of the things I've learned in oblivion are hidden in the back of my mind. I'm not asking for anyone to post a guide themselves, rather I'd like a short list of something like this; what downloads do I need? what to download first? links to said downloads or to a post that talks about them. I'm not asking for mods like textures, armor, weapons, or gameplay, more like the stuff to get me started so I can start adding those mods in. I remember in oblivion there was something like a manager and bsa thing or something like that and maybe something else, but now everything's so new and I'm lost. Life is pretty busy at the moment too, so any help would be nice. Thanks so much for your time!

So, when I go to manage images. Non of my supporter images are showing up, only the pics in the regular share. Anyone else with this problem? If ya know a fix, please PM me :)

ok so I've noticed a few outfits that have been asked for in the thread here and I was wondering something. There seems to be a set of outfits with "Lady" as the pre-title ex: Lady Elegance. Now, I'm not sure but are these ripped? Cuz I've seen a few shots on the nexus here and they aren't reported and some of them are even in the high rating list. So, is this "Lady" set ripped or illegal in some way or am I just delusional? *I know this isn't really the place for this kinda question but it relates to the topic (since multiple posts ask about some of the outfits in the series)*

So, question. If you're a supporter, can you post pictures in the image gallery (supporter gallery) of ported content?

So I know it's not ok to post pictures of content that has been ripped from other games but what if you're not sure if it has been ripped or not? So, for example; I download an outfit from another site and there isn't any info on weather it's ripped or not. How do I tell? Thanks for the help. :)

Something with runes and maybe some arcane circles hovering around it would be cool. A good example: Weapon and armor

If you have a photoshop like program and a dds converter you should be able to go into the original orc files and just tint the skins (head, hands, body). If you want only player to be purple you could use the cs to create a different race and copy the textures then color the copies and path them to the new race. It sounds hard than it is but since no one answered you I figured I would say something. Tutorials should be in the cs (construction set) wiki if u need them. Hope this helps :)

So I've edited a few mods around and made a gorgon race for my own personal use. But I'm not much of a modder and I can't get the head full of snakes type look. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to make the meshes and textures for snakes for a race. Something that would be able to be picked like it was a hair selection would be nice. Nevermind I figured it out. The DTX type was the issue I just cycled through them until I got the right one. Ok, so I'm replacing a texture using gimp and I'm having some issues. The texture I'm replacing is a hair texture. I'm more or less just changing the look of the hair in gimp. When I go to save it though and play in game the texture comes out very very dark. I've tried lightening the texture, saving under different DXT types, and nothing. When I bring it up in nifskope it looks the way I want it to but in game it's so dark. Anyone know if i'm missing something, or how to fix this.?

So does anyone know of some mods that add better textures to the spells, I've seen one called enhanced magic or something like that but it was only for self spells, i'm looking for things that change fire and ice and whatnot. Also, if anyone could give me the path in the files so I could do it myself would be ok too. I've looked and I can't find the dds files for any of the spells in my folders but they are fine in game. So if anyone knows where they are hiding it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

1. If I modify a mod only for personal use, without ever choosing to redistribute, do I need the author's permission to do so? (even though it will never be public) 2. If it is ok to do the previous, then is it ok to post images in the gallery? (again not distributing the modified mod, just using it to get a different look in pictures) Thanks for the help.

Ok, so I've been looking around and I dunno if I'm missing something or what but I couldn't find a mod for this so maybe someone can make one or knows of a simple way to do it myself. I was looking for a way to cast a spell (spell, greater/lesser power) that would let me transform my character into a fire element like being. It could be a spell or a race or whatever. If there is a way to alter a current mod or make this myself with a very simple tweak (not much of a modder) then that would be fine as well. An example would be how the siren race changes what you're wearing when you enter the water. My idea was to maybe change/apply that concept to a spell that lasts for ~60sec. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

So my buddy told me there is a mod out there that allows you to transform your character into a fire element like form for a limited amount of time. I was wondering if anyone here knows of such a mod. It could be a race, less/greater power, spell, or anything. Thanks in advance for the replies. :)
