  1. About the model. I was planning to have another stimpack right behind it that would have the tubes as well. Reason why I chose tubes was because the original render in Tactics had a bunch of tubes on it. I wanted to try something similar as well and it kind of fit with the materials you would need to make it. I can't exactly do a 100% accurate model of the Tactics version due to the game engine and how the item would be static, but then again the Super Stimpack to me doesn't look like an exact replica of the ones in the older games. So I decided to make something that would be somewhat familiar to the original version.
  2. Alright, I managed to get Blender to edit the model. Here's what I got so far. `http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613346341000.png http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613330817200.png http://www.ezimba.com/work/140905C/ezimba19613311249600.png Stats I'm planning to do for it: -Heal 108 HP at the start, increases with your Medicine Skill to a max of 270 HP -Has a Ultra Stimpak debuff effect, it's similar to the Super Stim debuff but lasts longer, along with decreased Endurance and Radiation Resistance -Can be crafted with 100 Science using 1 Stimpak, 1 Super Stimpak, Surgical Tubing and 1 Banana Yucca Fruit (the fruit's in there because making a super stimpack requires a mutfruit, so I decided to do something similar) What do you guys think so far?
  3. Hello. Currently I'm planning to make an ultra stimpak model for NV. This is what I'm planning for the mesh to look like. However, I have a problem when it comes to using Blender. I can't seem to edit the mesh. I want to create tubes connecting from the stimpack into the belt but the grab tool is not letting me do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
  4. I have tried to make a purple plasma projectile and goo puddle for the GRA plasma weapons so they have something unique about them. The problem is that when I tried to edit the colors in nifskope, the mesh shows that the color is purple, but in game it is green. I do edit the NifTriStrips so that the colors are purple and they show up in nifskope, but is there anything else I have to do?

  8. Alright, so I tried to do an explosion for the cloud mines/grenades. I based it off the fire extinguisher explosion, since it looked the closest to a gas grenade explosion to me. I retextured the colors to be red/pink, similar to the cloud. You could handwave it as the residue being a powder that can be easily dispersed, while the poisons are watered down and not useful for aerial contamination. Probably have 3 tiers, similar to the poison, but involving explosive or repair skill (e.g: Cloud Grenade Mk 1, Cloud Grenade Mk 2, Cloud Grenade Mk 3), each one doing more damage but requiring more cloud residue to use. (Mk 1 needs 1 jar of cloud residue, Mk 2 needs 2 jars, Mk 3 needs 3).

  10. When I finished Dead Money, I was somewhat dissapointed that the cloud residue was only useful for characters based on Survival and nothing else. The cloud is a highly toxic chemical, so how come a player with a high explosives or science skill could not make another form of delivery that doesn't involve coating a melee weapon in it? It would be interesting to use Cloud-based gas grenades and mines against enemies, and I have not seen yet seen weapons based upon this concept yet.
  11. I have a mod for New Vegas that adds in screwdrivers that you can buy/pick up in the game. What I want to do is make a script that checks to see if you have a screwdriver and bobby pin in your inventory. If you have both, you can do the lockpick minigame. If you don't, you get a message saying you can't lockpick. Help would be appreciated on to how to create this script. Thank you for your time.
  12. Possibly the luminescence can increase your perception? The wiki says that "Their enlarged eyes appear to be an adaptation to the conditions of their preferred habitat and are sensitive to light; a condition which would explain their extreme aversion to weapons like flash bangs and flare guns, and to the sun itself." It could work similar to the night person perk, so it will only increase perception during nighttime.
  13. As far as I know, the only way to do that is to edit the entire skeleton of the model in order to allow it.
  14. You could also make it so that depending on one of your SPECIAL stats, your chance of having a nightmare is lowered (lowered, but never 0%). I would say either Luck or Charisma. Luck due to it being a chance type of thing, or Charisma since that stat doesn't seem to be useful compared to the others.
  15. I'm having a problem with a custom mod I'm doing. I want to change the projectile color of the plasma bolt from green to blue, along with making the person melt into a pile of blue goo as well. I've only worked on the plasma projectile so far, and the projectile is still green. How would I go about changing these colors?

Okay, so I thought Fellout would be the problem due to it modifying lights and imagespaces after running FNVEdit to see if there were any conflicts with these items (there were none, btw).   20. I'm not sure why, but recently, whenever I get into combat, or I'm detected by an enemy, my game becomes really bright. Originaly it would only happen if enemies got too close to me, but now its happening whenever I fight, no matter how far away I am. Any fixes to this problem will be appreciated.
  21. So far, I've been trying to create a few perks that NPCs use (e.g: Better Criticals, Adamentium Skeleton, etc) using the Actor Effect and Base Effect list. However, I'm wondering, how would I create a perk like Nerd Rage or Hit the Deck so that NPCs could use that perk as well?
  22. Hello. I was wondering, would it be possible to give NPCs perks? For example, having NCR heavy troopers get the Hit the Deck perk, Centurions gaining the Piercing Strike perk or Paladins gaining Laser Commander. I know that there's a perk for NCR rangers that increase their DT, so I'm assuming I could do the same with these perks. It would also make combat more interesting when fighting these enemies, so you'll have to use different strategies against them.
  23. There's this mod that's out. http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38653 However, the only things you can use are dynamite, powder charges and c4. You can't use a frag grenade to open the lock, for example.
  24. Funny thing about that, turned out to be one of my mods. Or rather, one of the mods I edited. Game's running perfectly now. I don't even know why it would do that though. I just edited a few things and that was it.
