I'm gonna ask a dumb question. I know it's dumb because I should know the answer. What all do I need to start modding Skyrim? The last thing I modded was Fallout New Vegas and it has been a while since I did that. I know I need the SKSE but what else?

I know that all files need to be downloaded into the steam folder and so on and so on. What I needed to know was is there something different about installing with windows7 64bit versus the windows7 32bit. Since upgrading to 64bit from the 32bit I can not get a single mod to work properly with installing them like I normally did with 32bit.

I don't know how to turn off the UAC. The files are under C:\Program files(x86)\Steam

This is my first time using windows 7 64 bit and I'm needing help installing my mods. I thought it would be the same as the 32 bit version but either I'm wrong or I had a complete mind fart and I'm installing the mods wrong some how. After installing Willow, the only face I can use is willow's face now. I have no idea how I got her as a preset face. NMCs_Texture_Pack_For_New_Vegas isn't showing up at all and the same goes for the other mods I added including Anthony Lings Coiffure - Hair Eyes Lashes for FONV. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!

I will have to alter some of the designs a bit and need to make them transparent. I don't know how to put it up in blender.

I'm needing to crop pieces from like two or three sets to make mine. I have to mesh them together and then retexture them and color them. I have the pieces pulled up in nifskope but I don't know how to make changes to them.

I'm having a problem with the scope on a weapon and I want to see if I can adjust it in the geck, but I can't seem to find the weapon. Just needs some help on this.

I figured out what was causing the lag. It was the F3NV Project Reality MkI mod so I turned it off but left it installed. now I'm getting a CTD every time I try to set a aid item to a hot key.

Ok. I tried all this and was checking my fps with fraps and it seems that no matter what setting I have it on (even the lowest it can go) the fps stays around 15 - 25.

I'm having a problem with my game being laggy after adding mods to it. Here is a copy of my load order. I have no clue which mod or mods could be causing it to lag up like it is. Any suggestions would be more than welcomed. Also I have noticed that sometimes it be laggy then all of a sudden it starts running just a smooth as it should. So is this a problem with the mods or something with my system? They referred to California many times in the game so I think it will be there. Maybe we will get to have earthquakes in the game.

I'm running both mod manager and archive invalidation. right before mine crashes it lags up then either just crash or freezes up. if I was to disable them all then re-inable them it would take a long time to figure out which one it is due to it being so random.

You said to just re-download them via steam but how do I do that? I can't find anything on steam that will let me do that.

I deleted them in FOMM, but I just don't know how to get them back.

I had to do a fresh install of the game and I removed Dead Money and Honest Hearts from FOMM and now I need to re-add them but I don't no how. Also I lost my stealth suit that you get in OWB and my saved game is after I had finish it. Any one know how I can get the suit back?
