Hmm.. it might be having write/read issues or is not connected right. It may also have on overheating problem. Try defragmenting, if that doesn't help, take it to Best Buy or Circuit City and get it looked at. Oh, if this is one that did not come with the computer, meaning you bought it separately, problems occasionally occur with parts like this.

Yes, the Steam version is VERY easy to mod, no worries there, try the Detailed Normals Texture Pack, NO fps hits whatsoever (Not even one!!), makes everything look better. -

If it doesn't work, you can always install some radio station mods and put the songs, or your custom songs, on them. My two favorites are: MyRadio -Easy to install, works great. R.A.C.E - Radio Active Channel Extender -More complicated to install and get working, but has more options, works great. -

My friend has Turtle Beach x11s, there pretty good, but i've heard there not for recording your voice, just for live audio chat. I don't do much online playing, I have a bad headset that works for me and a nice set of KOSS UR21vs, which does not have a mic, but are comfortable to wear for long periods of time, has high-quality sound, noise-cancelling and volume changer on the cord, quite nice, I like them.

Better Cities is activated but is having no effect

Try going to a place unaffected by mods, such as the Wilderness or, even better, an unmodded Interior Cell (Room, House, Dungeon) and make a hard (Via Pause Menu) save. Wait or sleep 3 in-game days and 1 hour. (73 Hours) This should cause all cells to respawn and MIGHT fix your problem. -
Hmmm, there was a mod for Oblivion called "Kiera (Or something)'s Journals" that allowed you to type into books that you could edit in-game, but i'm not sure if it could be transferred to NV, perhaps with terminals. But I don't know how to do so, or if it's even possible.

Seventh, maybe you want a Sniper Rifle with no suppressor for high-profile kills or a 9mm with ironsights for faster aiming. Good idea. -

Alienware, Macs can't even play most games. Besides, do you want a glowing half-eaten apple or a glowing Alien Head on the Case? I have a Dell, but think about it, as well as there is no Mac-Version of GECK. -
One handed to Two handed and opposite

In the GECK, if you select a weapon, there will be tabs near the top of the weapon box. Click that one that says "Art and Sound" and go down to the bottom where there is a box that says "Has Scope," "Has Night Vision," "Comes from Mod." Just above that is a drop-down box labeled "Animation Type" drop it down and select your animation type, however be warned that some weapons were not meant to be used and will cause floating, bad clipping, wierd animations, ect. but will still do the same damage the same way. Oh, and the names are just names, you could have a gun called "The Best Gun in the World" and have it do 1 damage, or vice-versa, "The Worst Knife in the World" Damage: 999 MAKE SURE TO CREATE A NEW FormId if you want it to be unique, of you'll end up having Fiends armed with 999 damage knives. -
Hmm, it sounds interesting. I might like to help. I know my around the G.E.C.K. like the back of my hand. (Looks at hand) Oh, thats new. :laugh: Anyway, I am good at naming clothes and creating effects that go with them, as well as thinking of perks or traits. Just a quick thrown in idea, due to the way that the Fallout games work (Good and Evil) When you FIND the thief you should get a option for them to pay you off and then you go and report that they are dead... maybe if they man who hired you wants a finger, part of what you do after he pays you is you have to kill a certain person and get the finger. Bottom line, there should be an evil option. Or the Evil Option could be to kill him, the Good to arrest him. New Vegas Bounties II has the same thing, you can kill them, or bring them in alive for more money.

I know, I wish they had developed him more, it seemed so promising that i'd find him at one of his hideouts as a non-hostile, non-feral ghoul. But we only saw his skeleton.

The alternate reality will also take over your MP3 player and install weird music on it, of that which you have never heard of before. Mine used to do that. :biggrin: No, i'm serious.... really.... I am.... -

That happens to me too. Has no effect on the computer or the next time you play FNV. Just close it. -
Legion are hostile at first encounter?

Also when you enter, keep your weapons holstered, my friend was playing and had the same problem at least 3 times before I told him to try holstering your weapon. He was playing on Xbox. On PC hold the "R" key, assuming defaults. -
Create the folder yourself. (Not sure if this will work., try it first, make sure you create the folders using proper caps, ex. Textures NOT textures) OR, using Fallout Mod Manager unpack the BSA Archive and move to the data folders. (You shouldn't need to do this) You may need to use Archieve Invalidation, google it. Read the ReadMe. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Now I have a question, I use the mods: -Centered 3rd Person -Compiled Patch/Community Bugfix Compilation Patch -CONELRAd 640-1240 -Free player after end -some graphic mods -level 60 cap -Neveda Skies -Perk Every Level Do you think these will effect the mod? Probably not, although Nevada Skies might not be compatible with Fo3. The radio should work fine, as I have a radio mod (MyRadio) that works in all DLCs, mods, anywhere. The free play might conflict, so I recommend getting GOTY and/or the Broken Steel DLC to extend the Fo3 ending. I'm not sure how the scripts would collide between Fo3 and FNV endings with FNV free play mod, or if they even would. And Fallout 3 has a perk every level already, so that should be fine.

I've always thought about it, such as having a leg sheath for a dagger when you are using a different weapon, just on there as apparel, the dagger static, equipped with the sheath not as an actual weapon. Good idea.
