I didn't know you were a farm kid Pagafyr I grew up on a ranch myself. I remember haying season and sometimes running at night if I was running the Baler or Harrow bed . It was a family operation so no cooks just grandma and my aunt but everything was home cooked and delicious miss it sometimes. Anyway sorry for getting of topic I am not much of a pizza eater when I do have it 's a plain old Pepperoni and sometimes I will add mushrooms or onions. GF is a Anchovies and sometimes caviar persons( I hate both) with onions. The place is local here where I live that makes it fresh you can order it and pick it up or go there and watch them toss and spin the dough around which is kind of entertaining.

I want to first apologize for my action on this form. I feel very passionate about this as i feel it represents more then the internet. When I feel this strongly about something I sometime go a little overboard which is what I have done. Anyway this is a bill being presented in the senate HR 4585. This bill would stop the repeal of Net Neutrality from ever taking effect. I have contacted my local reps and they emailed me back with the following response December 19, 2017 Dear Mr. Morgan, Thank you for contacting my office regarding net neutrality. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on this important issue. On December 14, 2017, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted 3-2 to rollback net neutrality protections. I am extremely disappointed with the FCC’s short-sided vote to overturn net neutrality and create ‘fast lanes’ which would allow internet service providers to unfairly discriminate against certain companies and consumers. This will jeopardize economic growth in New Mexico and across the country, where innovators and small companies depend on an open, free, and fair internet. I am also concerned with reports of the FCC ignoring millions of Americans by mishandling the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking comments process. That is why I have cosponsored the Save Net Neutrality Act (H.R. 4585) which would invalidate the recent FCC vote to remove net neutrality protections. The comment process is an essential procedure in rulemaking and the FCC did not conduct itself in a responsible manner and accurately account for the opinions of a wide range of American citizens. It is my honor to serve the 1st Congressional District of New Mexico. Your thoughts and comments on this and other issues are important to my work in Congress. Thank you for taking the time to share your views with me. I encourage you to visit my website,(did think it was appropriate to show the email address on a public form), where you can find updates on my work in Congress and sign up for my e-newsletter. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can assist you in any way. Sincerely, Michelle Lujan Grisham Member of Congress Please I encourage you to take a few minutes from your busy day and do that same Thanks

One more site to article http://digg.com/2017/comcast-net-neutrality-fake-comments Tweet by Ben Jordan on Comcast Oh and just to clarify I'm not saying this is prove that Comcast is behind it but they are not exactly know for their ethical business practices and if you put it all together it looks suspicious.

I also found this article http://bgr.com/2017/05/23/comcast-fcc-net-neutrality-legal-analysis/ Comcast had a cease and deist order against them but what I find interesting was what this site was used for.

The whole fake comments things is taking and interesting turn not going to jump to conclusion's but some of these article's are well I'll let you judge for yourself. https://www.forbes.com/sites/janetwburns/2017/12/14/earth-to-pai-those-fake-anti-net-neutrality-comments-used-stolen-identities/#28741f7b6c6a Simulation possible 80 fake comments are Pro-repeal https://gizmodo.com/fcc-commissioner-blasts-her-own-agency-for-withhold-evi-1821133018https://gizmodo.com/fcc-commissioner-blasts-her-own-agency-for-withhold-evi-1821133018 FCC Commissioner Blast her own agency for withholding evidence https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/11/fcc-stonewalled-investigation-of-net-neutrality-comment-fraud-ny-ag-says/ Stone Walled investigation https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2017/11/comcast-deleted-net-neutrality-pledge-the-same-day-fcc-announced-repeal/ Comcast delete pledge on the same day https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/how-congress-dismantled-federal-internet-privacy-rules/2017/05/29/7ad06e14-2f5b-11e7-8674-437ddb6e813e_story.html?utm_term=.c0576ea9b541 Congress dismantles internet privacy rules giving ISP access to personal information without your consent. The ones I find most interesting are the top two and the last two. It going to be interesting how this all plays out in the next few months

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. - Edmund Burke . This quote sums up my thoughts on the matter You maybe right nothing may come of this but the fact remains that the FCC whom is there for the purpose of protecting the consumers and regulating these companies has failed as current law stands and while deregulation was not main the cause of the financial crisis it did play a part as corporate banks who took advantage of relaxed regulations. We are still feeling the effects of that mess people echoed the same statement you have made above but something did happen and we paid a price for it and may one day in the future pay a bigger price. I maybe completely off the mark and completely wrong. If I am i will accept that and move on but until that is the case I am not going to sit and wait and be silent about something I feel is a ticking time bomb.

My personal opinion some people are just wired wrong but they get very good at hiding it from others. Then something sets them off and the craziness comes out and incidents like this happen. I bet if you talk to the guy he has some crazy reason for doing it. Ever watch a biography on serial killer and they interview his friends and family they are shocked by what he/she did.

I am actually in the process of putting one together that involves small ISP's from my community and separates the fact from the fiction that is the FCC but it takes time so while I am putting it together, I am trying to get others involved by posting on boards of the sites I frequent. It not the best way to do this I know but if I give someone a link to a site and they read an article that gets them involved then that's one more person involved that wasn't and if they don't well then I take the comfort in knowing that i stood up for something that I thought was important even if others didn't.

"constitutional rights for internet traffic" You don't have a constitutional right to internet traffic. The world did not end on Wednesday, nor did the internet shut down. We will just have to wait and see what happens. I don't think ISP's want to take on the burden of tracking every bit of traffic that goes thru their servers and compare it to a white/black list. Just not fesible. They don't huh this 2007 article show other wise Verizon blocked text sent to consumer simply because they thought it was controversial don't believe me read the article yourself http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/27/us/27verizon.html. I agree with you on one thing we will have to wait and see but doesn't mean we shouldn't voice our opinions on it.

Here is an interesting article while not directly related to this topic i think explains a lot about why people don't want to get involved. https://www.ineteconomics.org/perspectives/blog/america-is-regressing-into-a-developing-nation-for-most-people

another interesting article doesn't have anything to do with net neutrality but still i think it says a lot about what our country has become https://www.ineteconomics.org/perspectives/blog/america-is-regressing-into-a-developing-nation-for-most-people

I am not much different online as I am in really life. I tend to be very laid back and follow a simple rule if I don't have anything constructive or nice to say I don't say anything . Some people take what i say out of context I have even had a few get offended but id don't really care. There are only a few people who opinions I value in life and none of them are online .

Exactly what amendment of the Constitution is that? There isn't but maybe their should be. Lets talk a hypothetically lets say that there is a law to be passed that effects you. You heard about in on the news from what they have said you don't think it will effect you personally but you decide to do some more research. You get on the internet only to find your ISP has throttle you back on sites outside their "pipeline" or worse block you, They present you with a message full of rhetorical nonsense about why they did what they did because under the current laws that is all they are required to do but the truth is that the reason they did it is because people have paid them a great deal of money to keep these facts from you. You will still be able to find the information you want to but it would take more time, time you simply do not have. You decide to report it but find out that it would be a long and complicated process that will take months to resolve and even then it may not get resolved simply because the ISP did nothing wrong by the law. So you are forced to accept what you are being told is everything you need to make an informed decision. Is that the kind of choice you want to face . I sure don't.

The answer to the question above to me is a resounding yes. Why do you ask is this fight important? Well i believe that answer is a simple one you see this isn't really about the internet, its not about data packets that transfer across the servers of these companies, its not about your favorite music site, your favorite game sites , streaming service, blog , U-tube channel or Facebook page it is about your freedom to choose. That's right it about your constitutional right to make a choice to download that music to visit your favorite gaming site , watch that streaming video or post for or against something in your blog. That choice will be taken away from you mark my words it may not happen today or tomorrow or even 10 years from now but it will happen. That is why this fight is so important. Some of you might be rolling your eyes to the above saying to yourself great another liberal activist crying that the sky is falling like chicken little and you could not be further from the truth. I am that guy that doesn't like to get involved, avoids and hates conflict doesn't tell others what to do and waits quietly in line for his turn but there are times when i feel the need to stand up an assert myself even make my voice heard and in-courage others to do the same even if it seems like a lost cause. There is another reason this topic is important the fact of the matter is letting these corporate entities police themselves doesn't work. Corporations will always care about how fat their bottom line is that will always be the case and there is nothing wrong with that but there are times when they over step. That is exactly what the FCC will allow these ISP's to do greatly overstep and it is our responsibility to stand up and ask "where do you think you are going"? I would have had no problem if the FCC would have on Dec 14 abolished Net Neutrality for the shake of a better solution that would have be beneficial to all something that showed they had everyone's best interest at heart, but that is not what happened they abolish these rules and replaced them with one that puts me at the mercy of my ISP. Then to add insult to injury they attempted to make sure that no one could stop this out of control train. They don't want anyone even the states to derail it. These are the reasons that i feel this fight is so important the internet will go on. People will continue to live their lives and do what is needed to survive it is what we do but i for one am tired of being told what to do by some rich guy in a suit . I enjoy the freedom that the internet provides me with an I will not stand quietly in line i will stand up get in your face and let you know that this is not acceptable and I will continue to do so until you present me with a solution to the problem that befits all.

Some great advice about what to expect in the coming months since the vote. This site also has some great articles about this topic enjoy! https://techcrunch.com/2017/12/14/the-fcc-just-repealed-net-neutrality-what-happens-next/

There is a matter of the the fraudulent replies that were received before the vote was cast and the fact that he ignored request from a representative who asked him to delay the vote . I am actually hoping that as this debate continues that evidence of fraudulent behavior will show he is in the pocket of one of these Isp (Comcast I suspect) and that everything he has done will come crashing down around him. I just can help but feel Ajit Pai and Michael O’Rielly the other commissioner who voted for repeal have an agenda that they are hiding from everyone but only time will tell.

What do you feel are the most important things that should be in any legislation that congress presents involving that right to an open netThese are mine 1) No corporate entity, private organization or person's should be allowed to block, slow down or prioritize lawful content that he/she as a consumer choose to view or present solely for the propose of personal momentary gain or self promotion. 2)No corporate entity, private organization or person's should be allow to use personal information without he/she express consent and should this consent be given it should only be used only in the pursuit of providing a a better service not in the pursuit of personal monetary gain. 3) No corporate entity, private organization or person's should be allowed to interfere or influence the free market of the information hwy in unsavory, illegal or monopolizing manner for the sole purpose of self promotion or monetary gain. 4) No corporate entity, private organization or persons should be allowed to censor lawful content for the sole purpose of self promotion or monetary gain. 5)No corporate entity, private organization or person's shall be allowed to restrict access to information based solely on a person personal, religious, social , racial or economic status. The fight to keep the internet open is an important one not because it is of what the internet is but because of what it represents an open information hwy free for all to enjoy. I posted this to generate a debate on what others feel is important about keeping the internet open to all. Regardless of your views on Net Neutrality or its impact on the internet I feel that any law regarding this topic needs to be address by the people not just corporate entities or those who would use their political power to further their agendas. I also would like to ask those of you who post your ideas to send you ideas to this email address [email protected]

I just thought I would post these links to some websites for those of you who are interested in joining the fight to keep information super hwy free to all who would use it as a lawful source of information , entertainment and cultural expression. https://www.battleforthenet.com/ https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/ https://www.battleforthenet.com/jointeaminternet/

The problem I have with this issue and the current FCC that is that they are removing these laws and replacing them we a very vague one that basically says that an ISP has the right to do whatever they want and the only requirement is that they tell me that they are going to do it.They are even attempting to to prevent the states from enforcing rules upon ISP's enforcing net neutrality should they feel the need to do so. There needs to be clear cut laws that say what they can or can not do, the FCC under Obama was at least attempting to do that that is not the case with the current one. The other thing that bothers me is how quickly Ajit Pai the current head of the FCC and his associates are trying to push this through and how quickly some of the ISP's(Comcast) changed their views on the idea of the open internet when the vote came back in their favor. I normally don't get involved with things like this or believe the outcry's of doom and glum that are normally associated with topics like this. I try to keep a optimistic view on matters but from what I have read about the subject has me worried enough to voice my opinion to my local Representative with the hopes that they will step up to the plate an come up with some clear cut laws that protect the consumer from these corporations that seem to feel they have the right to control the information hwy. On a side note I do know one thing if my ISP attempts to block my access to Nexus they are losing a customer !!!!!
