I know what this thread needs more of - redheads. :D http://i.imgur.com/o0madSi.jpg Some beer would be nice too. Speaking of which, someone really needs to come up with downloadable cold beer, I'd give my left nut for that. Though considering how slow my internet connection is, it would be room temperature by the time the download finishes. Damn Croatian internet, it's so slow it makes my imaginary beer warm.

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/wordpress/stg.ign.com/2015/07/nuke.jpg I'm pretty sure I could cram a tiny PC inside that mini nuke and play Fallout on it.

Or you can do it like so... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7fe3bIml-I EDIT: Turns out MS will be giving away free Win10 to anyone who has an insider account with 10 connected to it. I usually don't much like MS but since I got that account along with Win10 installed on my second PC, they now rank slightly lower on my s***list for giving me a free copy to use on the little thing. Good job, Microsoft.

Been waiting all day and AMD finally spilled the beans on their new high-end lineup. The top dog is all nice and dandy but this is the card that caught my attention... http://cdn.overclock.net/d/dc/dc58cdf9_2015-06-16-18_51_18-AMD-Twitch.jpeg Nope, that's not a budget card, that thing is supposedly faster than a GTX 980. Just look how cute and tiny it is.

I generally hate commercials but that thing easily takes the cake as the worst one I've seen. I sincerely hope I never see something that is worse. If that thing were to pop up on my TV, I'd beat the poor electronic bastard to death with a shoe. On the other hand, it seems like good interrogation material for cops. Guy giving you a silent treatment? Put this on repeat and go for a coffee and a stroll in the park, he'll be singing like a birdie after that. It might count as police brutality though. :D

Post, I was busy so I couldn't do it before. Napping is serious business, you know.

Is that a Mako I saw there at 1:11? Here's hoping they make planet exploration like in ME1 where you could just drive around in a Mako and blow stuff up, that was fun. Speaking of which, I once had the game glitch out during that "get Liara" quest cause I drove all the way to the excavation site entrance, then I ended up watching a cutscene in which a horny Mako humped the brains out of a passed-out Geth armature.

You and me both. Also... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7g6BfvU6A8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NteAPGprDJk I better mop up the drool, it's starting to drip from the desk.

I wonder if it would be possible to install a desktop OS on a phone...

Nope, I win. And speaking of fixing... God bless 3M electrical tape. :D

That's cute... Anyway, the skeleton exploded, that means the Havok engine is out of sync. Make sure your iPresentInterval is set to 1 in FalloutPrefs.ini and iFPSClamp (if you have that one) is set to 0. Also, if you're using Stutter Remover, open it's ini in Data/FOSE/plugins and set bAllowSlowMotion to 0, that setting has a tendency to turn humans into Deathclaw hybrids. EDIT: God bless Creation Engine and Bethesda for swapping that crappy Gamebryo with it. Fallout 3 and New Vegas are held back by my graphics card at 1440x900 and reach over 1GB VRAM making my game stutter as hell. Skyrim uses up 720MB tops and runs perfectly fine at 1920x1200, even though it has larger textures and more GPU-demanding post-processing. If Fallout 4 runs on Creation Engine and runs as well as Skyrim, I'll be happy. And I'll be even happier if Bethesda decides to multi-thread the engine, which is possible considering the game is developed for those 8-core consoles with weak individual cores.

Make one shortcut for fose_loader.exe and another for fose_loader.exe -editor. Just change the names so you know which is which. Did you read the news? One of the five server clusters is down and traffic is up 22% due to FO3/NV going on sale on Steam following the FO4 announcement. Basically, the site is under 52% higher load than it should be and is slow as hell, combine that with a slow mobile connection and you have a clusterf***. And by the way, the Nexus search has been rendered more or less useless since the site overhaul a few years back, now you have to sift through thousands of useless threads just to find the right one. EDIT: I got bored so I made pitching machines in FO3 fire frag grenades at random, makes them hell of a lot more useful as traps. :D
-
You need to put the -editor suffix outside the system path quotation marks, like so... "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Fallout 3\fose_loader.exe" -editorAnything inside them is read as part of the file path, anything outside them is read as execution functionality.

Turns out using a PC that dumps 250W of heat into a room without air conditioning during summer is a bad idea, I'm being cooked alive. Ah well, stock clocks and undervolting it is. I hate it but it has to be done.

I never tried maple syrup.

You know, I'd actually pay for that.

Not unusual, considering the only things revealed about the game are location and number 111. Here's one possibility - Bethesda trolls us all and makes us play as the protagonist's pet dog. And that video reminds me, the best part of FO3 was sneaking through 108 and messing with Gary. It was often hilarious, especially if sneaking around with Jericho. :D Gary: Gary? Jericho: "F*** you!" *blasts Gary to pieces with a shotgun* Another Gary: "Gary!" Jericho: "Pineapple!" *Blows up Gary with a plasma grenade* Tenth Gary we ran into: "Gary!" Jericho "Goddammit, aren't you dead already?" *blasts Gary to pieces with a shotgun again*

Well, control vaults were set to open after 10-20 years which would make it possible. However, there's way too many vertibirds in the trailer (they were experimental in 2077, meant to enter service is 2085 with only Enclave capable of manufacturing them decades later), that flying fortress, and way too much rebuilding to be done in just a 20-30 year span tops (since the vault guy in the trailer seems be about 20-30). It could go either way I guess, we'll have to wait and see.

A modding tool on release, metro networks for crawling around, a radio DJ as good as Three Dog (or Three Dog himself, I did get his antenna and put it on that giant stone dildo to boost the signal) and a 64-bit DX11 engine. That's what I'm hoping for.
-
If they don't, I'll go to Maryland and pee on their headquarters.
-
I just hope they release GECK alongside the game this time around, having the game without the modding tool is just maddening.

It is I, LeClerc.

I finished making the kinetic barrier for FO3, even made a model for it (modified TeslaFX), thing works almost flawlessly. And I have to admit, it comes in handy when you get caught unarmored in the open by a super mutant overlord, as happened to me. The only downside is that limb damage is present even when the barrier is up, but it's not a big deal at all. And the script. http://files.overclock.net/images/smilies/drool.gif
