I have 1.70 up and running still and I did have one issue, but I fixed it by removing Better Settlers. Like I said in an earlier post, the creator of DCMS recommended it, but there's a problem after a bit. So, it's not DCMS that has a problem, it's something with Better Settlers. So, if you have it installed remove it, otherwise you might end up with issues.

It worked. But, are we doing the right thing setting it to ignore? My fan control isn't external. It's a Kingwin FPX-004. Slips right into an unused bay.
Edit:
Whoops! The Kingwin was pulled when I Installed the Captain 240 EX. I now have the NZXT Sentry 3 installed. -
Not at all. I have the aio hooked into my Kingwin LCD fan controller. But, it's set in the BIOS to monitored. Maybe I should connect it to fan control 1 on the mobo? Or I could just set it to ignored.
Edit:
I think ignored is the best bet though. Since it's already hooked into the fan control. -
I just bought a DeepCool Captain 240 EX white a few days ago. I followed the installation instructions, even watched a few youtubes before I installed it. But, I have a problem. Every time I restart my computer, I get a CPU fan error. So, I hit F1 and go into my BIOS and check the settings and everything seems fine. I exit out of BIOS and my OS starts up without any issues. Any help would be awesome. Thank you.

There's a whole walkthru to complete it as you want.

Might as well post your answer here so that someone else (or you in the future!) will have the answer.
Umm....

I usually work 7 days a week. up to 16 hours a day. I rarely take a day off. I work for myself and the jobs are never ending.
-
Oh Duh. Not VM/CMS editing.. Sometimes my head goes elsewhere.
-
Figured it out. Thanks, no one. LOL!

Ballistic weave isn't important to me. If I want it, all I need to do is open console and type in:
RailroadClothingArmorModAvailable 1
And I have it. Saving toasters to get it, isn't in my job descript. I scrap toasters for parts. lol I've completed every single ending and the Institute is the best way to go.
-
Yes. But not complete it with them. Just use them to help you get to the Institute. That's what I did. If I tell you why I did it that way, it might spoil it for you.
-
Well you've had better luck than I have then. Every. Single. Time. I used xEdit from within MO it crashed on exit. It seriously never one single time closed without crashing. Opening CK from within MO, it would consistently crash on startup 3-5 times before successfully opening. Both programs appeared to work regardless of the start/close crashes. For example, I cleaned my bridge mods a couple weeks ago in prep for uploading updates. Since I have a clean OS reinstall as of this past week, I don't currently have a FO4 save game setup or even a mod manager installed. So I'm just doing manual installs of stuff to do mod work this weekend and I checked the bridge mods to make sure the exit on crash after cleaning them previously didn't mess things up. It appears that the crashing usually happens after the file saves at least because they were clean and not corrupted. *shrugs*
Double check your edits on it with FO4Edit. I stopped using xedit due to reasons I can't remember now.

See my signature pic? Most of these people are going to tell you to choose BoS, Minutemen or the Railroad. I won't spoil anything for you. But, IMHO the Institute is mankind's ONLY hope.

MO2 works fabulously if the only thing you're doing is playing the game. But if you're trying to work on mod development as well, using external tools like the CK and xEdit through MO2 is just way too unstable.
Agreed. But, I had no real issues with it. A few crashes here and there. But, nothing major. The way things are going here at the Nexus, with different things, I quit modding. I had planned on uploading the newest version of the mod I took over from TheScout201, after I completely rebuilt it. But, that's not going to happen now.

Open beta NMM is pretty much a hot mess right now. I've struggled to use it on a Skyrim SE game. I'm about to start a new Fallout game and I'm seriously considering going back to manually installing everything even though it's a pain in the rear end.
That's what I do. NMM is a broken, unusable mess. MO still works great, but, with Tannin42 jumping his own ship, I've taken a life preserver and jumped off the sinking ship. So, manual install is the only choice.

Is it:
setfog 0 1
Or is it:
setfog 1 0
I keep forgetting. I am redoing my ini files after reformatting. I wished I could have saved them prior, but I Win10 had other issues.

Wait! You don't like the wishy washy: "You know, since we talked I'm feeling swell ...." ??? It's one of the things that made me enjoy this mod. It was like, in my opinion, going over to a neighbor's home just to shoot the s**t.

What is the latest version of the mod?
I don't know, but I seem to remember 1.71. I've got 1.70, which is missing some features that were added with the last update. Such as, as I mentioned, the R key for jumping right into trade menus, or the update on the Vault Tec Soda Fountain. It's a blind spot for my version of the mod, but the version I had running before my system crashed recognized it.
For me, 1.71 was a broken mess. I never really cared for the press "R" thing. So, missing that is no big deal.
-
I have 1.70 and 1.71. The 1.71 is a mess though. Also, I have noticed if I use "Better Settlers" as the author recommended, the scripts in DCMS break down after awhile. BS says it doesn't use scripts, but, something is causing the issue between the two. I can't live without DCMS, so BS got the boot.
-
I just realized that the DCmS mod was hidden. I've haven't had any problems with it yet and I'm hoping none come up. I really don't want to have to restart again and this mod is essential.
As I've repeatedly said, it never caused any issues with my game. Which is more than I can say about other mods. I make it my business to never blame any mod creator, since there are people being ble to use it. I'm now running an older version. The only one I was able to find. Again, no issues.
If people don't take care of their mods, their mods don't take care of them. Best guess is, the guys having had issues had some conflicting mods running. Common sense of what's supposed to work or not work with certain conficgurations sometimes is an alien term.
It doesn't matter how many times we say that the mod is not broken, there are too many snivelers who say that there is. We are just wasting our breath on this.

I went back today, (4 days ingame) and there was a new female raider. Legendary. Anyway. I tried talking to her like the previous, this time I got a response: "I don't have time for your s#*!, asshole."
-
Wrong. I'm sure I'm onto something. Seems like there's a non hostile raider homesteading the area. When I first saw her, she was hiding behind one of the buildings near the brahmin house.Anyways, here's some screens:

Y'all are crazy. It's not a bathtub and it's NOT a settlement area.
Is there anything similar to "don't call me settler"?

I have 6 mods installed.
1. Blur Killer
2. DoF Removal
3. FogOut Interiors
4. FogOut Exteriors
5. DCMS
6. No Nuka World Requirements
I also have an ENB and SweetFX.
So, no. Nothing else is messing with it.
