  1. Konnor, the UOP does indeed FIX the prison dialogue, because if I remember correctly (I haven't played the vanilla, non-patched game in ages) without it, Valen Dreth will not talk to your custom race character AT ALL. From my point of view, and since I don't know which additional lines of dialogue the Custom Race FIx by Kinetarse is supposed to add, everything is working as expected for you. No Custom Race Fix: Valen Dreth says nothing to you. Custom Race Fix: Valen Dreth talks to you. Cheers!
  2. Hey, Rangaros! Yes, the nif files you need to build a whole female body, like a Doctor Frankenstein at large, are these four. What the OCO compatibility patches do is provide matching body textures for Robert Male, Robert Female, and HGEC, but these latter without beast races, as we discovered. I told you: the base or Core OCO package only includes head textures and vanilla body textures. If you want to use RobMale, RobFem or HGEC and have matching body textures, you need the compatibility patches (or if you don't mind the neck seams, other textures for these body types). Of course, with the arrival of Seamless Equipments, there are some seamless textures. THe HGEC body replacer ALREADY has seamless textures, being the most popular body type out here, so Movomo did not find the need to create more than the ones included in the Seamless Heads Nuska Edition (minus the Beast races). ANd yep, the installation order you say is the correct one: when using the Seamless Series, we want it to "win" in the Meshes and textures match. Now I need to go to bed. If you see Striker, kiss him for me and then laugh at the face he will put (be careful though: his beard is a weapon of mass destruction). Cheers!
  3. Yep, since Striker is ignoring me, I'll ignore him back and go to bed. Hugs for Lupinette too. See ya tomorrow! Cheers!
  4. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, you actually did include an Alpha channel (it is not shown in the Channels tab on the screenshots) and recalled to put the _n suffix to the filename. Well, thas WAS a normalmap then, albeit a very basic one. See how the surface of the ruler is flat, featureless (and is it the same color as before? I thought it was white). For items with "textured" surfaces you need to do things a little bit differently. Don't think for a minute I feel ashamed for being wrong. First of all, I've lost the track of how many times I was wrong during this session. Secondly, I know not the meaning of the word "shame". Cheers!
  5. Hey, Striker! Hope you did see what Lupis here did earlier. Lupis, sorry, matey, but that is not a normalmap. Try it in-game and see for yourself. And yes, Export As and Export do the exact same thing on my end too. Cheers!
  6. Good. But the drop-down list I was talking about is the "Select File Type (by Extension)" below the drop-down list that selects the files shown in the navigation window. Did you set the compression to DTX5 and enabled mipmaps? Cheers!
  7. But changing the extension how? You go to the upper input field where you can change the name of the file and manually delete the .png extension and type .dds? That's not possible. When you click the file type in the drop-down list, the file extension in the upper input field changes automatically, or it should. Check the exported file. Something is not right here. Cheers!
  8. Not sure what happened here, but hey, if that worked, good! Just for the record, on my end, the thing goes as follows (translated from Spanish, English actual names may vary): File - Expor: select file type - dds (file extension changes automatically when clicking "dds") - export - Compression and mipmaps dialogue - ok. Cheers!
  9. You don't need to manually change the extension, it is an export, as soon as you select the file format on the drop-down list, the extension is set automatically. Did the final file came out as dds or png? Are you sure? Cheers!
  10. Yep, I checked, the documentation is totally outdated and I no longer have a copy of my pdf. It's Export as dds, and there IS the option to choose which compression method and if creating or not mipmaps. Just try to export it as dds until you reach the dialogue where these options are shown. Cheers!
  11. Oh, I was, but Striker simply walked out, saying nothing. That was strange. Cheers! PS: Yep, the normalmap plugin has no documentation, only the dds plugin. Well, here you have the tutorial I was talking about.
  12. Hey, Striker! Go back one or two pages and see what Lupis did today! Cheers!
  13. Open an Oblivion texture file, then have a look at the Tools - Maps, or anything. There was a pdf file in the downloads page with instructions on how to use the plugin, by the way. Cheers!
  14. And? Is it working or right now a plume of flames and smoke is coming out of your computer and you're calling your local airport asking for the next flight to Spain and if you can bring blunt objects with you? Cheers!
  15. Most plug-ins for advances software are indeed exe files. Now install the normalmap plugin and let's see what happens. Cheers!
  16. Ehr, yes. Same for the normalmap plug-in. About that "not reading the readme file"... Cheers!
  17. Wait. What are you trying to do with the dds plug-in? And why is it in the root GIMP folder? According to the included readme: gimp-dds 3.0.0 (C) Copyright 2004-2013 Shawn Kirst <[email protected]> To install, extract these files to your GIMP plugins directory. This directory is usually located at: C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins
  18. Is your computer a 32-bits one? Cheers!
  19. You are in the right place, see my previous post and my edit to it. Now I don't know where the hell I got that 2.8.2 Windows version. Consider me facepalmed. Cheers!
  20. Whoa, your GIMP is pretty outdated. Mine is too, and mine is 2.8.2. I should upgrade it, but I'm lazy. I can't find the version for 2.8.x, all the available versions are HERE. I suggest you downloading the latest 3.0.1 The normalmap plugin is HERE. Again, download the latest version. Now I'm on it, I'll upgrade my GIMP. Cheers! EDIT: Funny. Now I see my GIMP for WIndows is up-to-date, but no download for my version, the newest one at the GIMP homepage is, indeed, yours. Unix/Linux versions are more advanced than WIndows.
  21. Which one? I linked the one for Paint.net. If you want the one for GIMP, tell me which version of GIMP you got. Cheers!
  22. If you have the dds plugin for GIMP, of course it can! Cheers!
