Have you tried the CTD & Memory patch by Boris? I had similar freezes until I installed ENB Series v.209 and the CTD & Memory patch. v211 also works. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//? http://www.enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.htm

Is there anyway to correct this checker board effect that I'm getting.. I installed Vurt's Flora Overhaul, but doesn't seem to help. All other textures are fine except for low grass. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

First my system info. (4 years old now) Motherboard: ASUS M3N72-D CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 940 BE (OC'd to 3.5Ghz) Memory: 8 Gig (4x2) Corsair OCZ Platinum DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 PSU: hec Zephyr MX 750 750W Peak Output ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 SLI Ready Video: 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (OC'd:Core Clocks=708 MHz,Shader Clocks=1526MHz,Memory Clocks=1060) Video Driver: 310.90 Skyrim will run okay at times averaging 30-45 FPS (and 60 FPS in interiors,caves & dungeons) in SLI mode for a while then will either freeze up, or CTD. I'm using the newest ENBSeries 0.138 and I do have quit a few Mods) I usually either have to restart the computer or disable & enable one of the video cards in "Device Manager" to get it working again. It will run okay when I disable SLI mode, but FPS are so low it makes game play impossible. My question is: 1st- Any ideas? 2nd: What is the best NVIDIA driver for the GTX 260? Should I rollback to an older driver? (As a note: Fallout 3, FalloutNV, Assassin's Creed 3, and most other games run fine in SLI mode) Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

How about a 58 year old woman? There are, presently, three females in my livingroom with their gaming laptops. Me, my daughter, and my neice. We're all gamers; it's in the blood, evidently :dance: . And pong, yes, that was my first video game. Older gamers for ever ! My daughter (37 years old) is a big time gamer also. She brought her Skyrim saves on a thumb drive when she visited me for the holidays so she could play here. 64 and Baulder's Gate is the first rpg you ever played? Why did you wait so long? OKay, didn't want to admit it but my first gaming experience was pong. My first computer was an Atari 1200XL and loved Space War. The 1200XL came out when I was in my 30s. Built my 3rd PC a little over 2 years ago with AMD quad core black edition, oc'd to 3.5ghz (just using air cooling). running 8 gig ram and dual nvidia 260s in SLI mode on 32" monitor. A long way from the Atari.

I just wanted to give a Thx to Nexus, Bethesda, and all the great modders out there. I'm probably one of the oldest gamers you'll find. I'm 64 and been playing RPGs since Baulders Gate. Skyrim is the best game I've ever played, and with the help of Nexus and great mods it is becoming a perfect combo of playability and 1st class graphics. Thanks again to all envolved.
