  1. I cam across the 3DNPC FNV Bundle by Kris Takahashi, does anyone have any experience playing with it? I did some minor testing and it seems quite solid, voice acting is great(as is expected with something from him), just wondering mainly about compatibility with other major mods. Does anyone know anything regarding conflicts with other quest mods, or mods that add in new locations?

Since you have such a good impression of the mod, would you care to share a link?

  2. Right, I haven't played this in a while and forgot you have to see Catherine at the landing.

Did you buy the ticket from Tobar before laying on the cot?

When you lie on the cot, the screen should go black and when the scene returns, you will be in Point Lookout.

Have you tried starting the quest without PointLookoutFixes active?

  3. i'm actually coming here hoping if anyone has a tutorial for getting any and all models from the nexus mod page and being able to put them into blender for things such as posing and animation

this search started when i found a mod for joshua graham and i wanted to re-design him to fight into my mascot (god that sounds cringe), as he was one of the characters that inspired me to make my mascot, so i'm hoping someone has a tutorial i can use to get the authentic burned man model into blender

also if there's any way we can have some kind of area for just models that can be used in blender or other software would be a good idea, kind of like open3dlab.

Go to the Oblivion Nexus and in the search use "Blender". It will give you a list of mods concerning Blender and a couple of tutorials. There is also a user's manual available from the Blender website. You need to get Blender version 2.49. There are newer versions but the don't work with Fallout 3/Fallout: New Vegas. You will also need Nifskope, Python, PyFFI and NifSkripts. On the Blender page are instructions on installing Blender and the addons. Pay particular attention to the install order and location.

  4. Using the search function that is found at the top of every page of Nexus Mods with the search term of "Body", 126 results were returned in 9 ms. Why not check them out?

  5. Start FOMM, at the top of the UI is "Tools". Left mouse click on it. At the bottom of the drop-down menu, you will see "Archive Invalidation". If it has a check mark to the left of it, left mouse click on the check mark. You will then be asked if you want to remove Archive Invalidation. Select "yes". The menu will close. Open the Tools menu again and left click to the left of Archive Invalidation to place a check mark there. You will be asked if you want to apply Archive Invalidation. Select "yes". This is toggling Archive Invalidation and MUST be done each and every time you make ANY change to ANY texture in the game.

If there is no check mark next to Archive Invalidation, add one. If your texture files have been installed properly, the new textures should be visible.

  6. There is a sub-forum for questions and concerns for Fallout 3. It can be found in Game-specific Forums, games starting with f, Fallout 3. If you have questions about Fallout 3, it would be better to post them there instead of the general PC Gaming forum. The only reason I saw this is that it was listed under Recent Topics.

Anyway, what mod manager are you using? And since most mods use texture and meshes, what mods don't work? Please provide a sample list with links.

  7. Also, why do you say that the UUFO3P has dependencies including the sprint mod?

Seems like it only requires the DLCs, Command Extender and NVSE.

There seems to be typo here, Not NVSE but FOSE and the DLCs are all that is required. These are shown under "Requirements". There are three sections under this heading.

DLC requirements and Off-site requirements. These list the requirements to run the mod. Do not confuse this with "Mods requiring this file". That is a list of mods that require the Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch. Not a list of mods that are required to use the patch.

  8. Make sure you are reading the list correctly. The first list shows the additional mods that are required for the mod to work as the author intended.

The second list shows the mods that require the mod you are viewing. Don't get them confused.

There are a lot of people on the Nexus that complain about the number of additional files that the mod requires to work. 99 times out of 100, they are confusing the two.
