So I don't mod much myself but I love to help where I can but I have a looksmenu preset I would like to share but I really don't know how to go about setting it up so it looks nice. Can anyone help me? Here is a quick look at the looksmenu preset I would like to share: http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/266091413824732425/8CB98D1FAA2C7AB7C96A1DF59A5D8A1252233E21/ Thanks and have a jelly baby. :D

So sick of building Sanctuary over and over :(
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
woohoo :D -
Update: I found it!! It was in a Sanctuary pre-war overhaul called "The Sanctuary." It falls under furniture/misc. It works and you can fill bottles from it and everything. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/266091945778230898/B4B3E5611F7CD1234CA2739244D1B7C8D6F93ECA/

Contraptions is Out - First Impressions
WaRi0 replied to RaffTheSweetling's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Is it just me or did Bethesda goto the nexus page, goto the top files section and just randomly picked 3 or 4 mods and decided to copy them and call them DLCs? We Have Functional Displays, DDprod's elevators and the build your own vault mods and then the rube goldberg crap and a few power things thrown in. The entire dlc seems very rushed almost as if the plan they had for wastland workshop 2 was scratched and they had to come up with a new dlc fast, lol. -
the one i'm thinking of was completely seperate from L shaped kitchen counter thing and it was empty, not filled with water and dishes like quaz's was. I have no clue what mod added it.
-
I swear I found a stand alone Kitchen Sink model in some mod that worked fine. You just had to use Place Anywhere to put it on top of the broken kitchen sink and it worked great for survival mode. But for the life of me I can't find it. I thought it was one of the Sanctuary/Players home mods that added it to the crafting menu along with some other pre-war stuff but I've been trying them all and still can't find it. At this point I'm just going to give up, lol. Plenty of mods that add working bathroom sinks for filling water bottles. :) Not that I even use survival mode, lol. I'm one of the blokes who preferred Hardcore Mode pre-1.5.

So sick of building Sanctuary over and over :(
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
thats the cell reset bug and its why i stay away from any mods that modify settlement cells  And yes I mean the furniture. Like for instance you could have a couch, 2 chairs, and end table between the chairs and a coffee table in the middle with a working stereo off to the side, maybe a end table with a lamp beside the couch. that would all be one "set" which you could plop down and then all the pieces would be able to be selected individually afterwards. A kitchen one might be the kitchen L-shaped counter with fridge/stove/sink and a island bar with 2 stools and a bar light over it. That would be the "kitchen" set. You get the idea. There are plenty of mods out there to add personal touches like Living Interior, Do It Yourshelf, Quaz's Craftables, Blurbeer's Buildables, (those 2 should get together and form a super crafting group :) heh) anyway but yea these would be basic item sets without much in the way of accessories or anything. -
I've been trying a ton of different mods lately and I found one that added a stand alone pre-war kitchen sink that worked. You could use place anywhere and put it on top of the broken one and it would work yay! Everyone and their aunt made working bathroom sinks as soon as survival mode was released but no one made a working kitchen sink. But now I can't remember what mod added it.

So the game starts and you find Sanctuary and its falling apart and looks hella ugly. Part of me is wanting to rebuild simply cuz it used to be my home and the other part knows people are gonna have to live here and they need a decent place to live. But building up Sanctuary over and over is soooo boring. I wish there were mods like Homemaker or Snap N Build that would have room sets so you could plop down a whole furniture set for each room and be done with the house a lot sooner. Like a living room set with couch, chairs, dining room table with dining room chairs, kitchen thingy with a fridge and stove, etc. Anyway you get the idea. I surprised no one has done this already to be honest. I mean I know every house is gonna be different and have different space requirements so one-fits-all thing wouldn't work but small ones like "living room" and "kitchen", "bathroom" etc would work fine I think. Anyway I'm just throwing this out there into the void. Peace ya'll

Settlement Keywords questions and conundrums

Oddly enough I found the mod that was messing everything up for me, Homemaker. Without homemaker everything shows up fine. Now I just have to figure out this CTD in Sanctuary problem. -
Settlement Keywords questions and conundrums
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
So I have been trying to get a lot of Settlement Workshop mods working together. Homemaker, Alternate Settlements, Snap'N'Build, Settlement Object Expansion Pack, Northland Diggers, DDProd All-In-One, Do it Yoursehelf, & OCDecorator. With SKE installed I got nothing but Homemaker, OCD, DDProd, Northland Diggers and Alternate Settlements showing up. I have the uninstaller holotapes for SnB and SOE and the SnB configurator item, but Do It Yoursehelf simply doesnt show up at all. Tried them all without SKx at all (using the non-SK version of alternate settlements) and now everything shows up except SnB, OCE and DIY. If Fallout 4 wasn't so awesomely fun I would have given up. :) -
I just wanted to stop for a second and give all the modders on nexus and Bethesda who create all of these wonderful mods for Fallout 4 a big thank you and kudos for all your hard work. I am completely in awe of all of the great work I see out there. I really love all the stuff that's been released from ground breaking overhauls to a zillion Piper faces its all been really amazing and its only going to get better as time goes on! :D The last 6 months or so have been some of the most fun I have had with a video game in my entire life. I honestly think Bethesda is releasing better and better games as they go along and we should be in for quite a treat when Elder Scrolls 6 finally comes out. Again, I just want to thank everyone and thanks for putting up with all my stupid questions Ethreon. ;)

which mod adds the clutter menu in decorations?
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I'm eagerly awaiting the new Homemaker release where he fixes the menus and navmeshes and such. The stuff I need comes from that mod. When building settlements I use a lot of stuff from the Decorations/Clutter and Decorations/Landscaping categories and the way the mod works right now you either lose one or the other with the various SK mods. I never ever get both at the same time unless I run Homemaker by itself wth no other mods :( -
uninstall and reinstall looksmenu that fixed it for me

Settlement Keywords questions and conundrums
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
okay thanks :) -
So it seems like ever since the F04 1.5 patch hit SK has been broken. I've seen SKE and SKI sprout up to try and fix the issue. I liked the original SK because it kept everything in vanilla menus. SKE makes the weirdest most convoluted menus that I can never find anything. And I STILL have missing menus in Homemaker that I can't get back no matter what manner of mods/SKXXX things I try. I just wish I could create my OWN menus and fix it myself. Anyone know of any way to get the SK stuff back in the vanilla menus where they belong? Sorry for the mini rant. >_<
-
I am pretty sure its Homemaker that adds it but maybe i'm wrong? I have been struggling to get Homemaker working with and without SK. Without SK at all seems to be the best compatible with the game but i'm still missing the clutter menu so I am missing stuff like the big sink/shower/stereo/fireplace etc. Argh! :( Someone please help and tell me how to get my clutter menu back.

I remember downloading a patch for Alternate Settlements so that it didn't require Settlement Keywords. Now I can't find it at all. Anyone know where it is? Thanks in advance.

yes turn on god mode and you will be able to build as much as you want plus no clip mode helps a ton of course. in the end i just used the console and removed enough of those red firewall barriers so the little green snot bugs could do their job and end the damn level :)
