which is the best Settlement scrap removal mod atm?
WaRi0 replied to NGiesberts's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I prefer Spring Cleaning as it doesn't allow you to scrap houses/roads/sidewalks that you arent supposed to. Its waaaay too easy to wind up scraping the road when trying to scrap leaf piles with Scrap Everything. Or scrapping the floor of a house when trying to scrap a debri pile in the house. -
What are the current working Mod Managers?
WaRi0 replied to Ru5tyShackleford's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I at first used the alpha of Mod Organizer as well but its very buggy and almost nothing works yet. I'm using NMM until they offivially release MO. -
So as you start to get more and more settlers in Sanctuary you will start to get the minutemen settlement-in-trouble quests from your settlers in Sanctuary. Most of us have probably made Sanctuaru the best defended place on the map and yet they are somehow having trouble with a group of raiders on the other side of the map!?! I don't know if this would even be possible before the GECK comes out but I would love a mod that would exclude Sanctuary from the random Minutemen quests. Also somehow make the random quests make the raiders NEAR where the settlement in trouble is.

on that note has anyone else noticed how much the fallout 4 stealth boys resemble the original series tricorders? :)

So there are tool racks in this game, mostly in the gas stations/mechanic shops and I've seen pictures of people displaying weapons on them but when I try nothing sticks to them. How is it done? Thanks in advance! :D

okay thats strange because I went to the da nexus and searched both file and author for 'jojjo' and nothing came up. i think the search function on the nexus sites is hosed. :(

found it myself, its Jojjo Weapons. I guess he was banned from the nexus or something.

I've been looking for a giant weapon mod pack that I always loved in DA:O. It was a ton of magic weapons with elemental effects on them and when the mod was installed the first time you went to camp after the intro finished you would have 3 zillion weapons in your backpack. Here is a screenshot of the mod I took a long time ago. http://i.imgur.com/ZekKd4K.jpg

So for a while now I have been looking for something and I don't even know if it exists. It just seems like such a neat idea that I really don't think I'm the only one who has ever thought of it. I would like to find a desktop app that basically turns the desktop into a 3D environment where I could have shelves on a wall and shortcuts could go on the shelves and I could also have statues or action figures or say a cat that walks around something cool like that. Clocks and calendars on the wall. Maybe even a Christmas tree or Halloween pumpkin for holidays. Anyone know of anything like this? Any time I search for virtual desktop it gives me results for the virtual desktop managers that allow you to have like 4 desktops and switch between them. That's not what I'm talking about. I just want a desktop where I can put things on a shelf and hang things on the wall and stuff. Thanks in advance.

So I love Craft Pack but it seems to be missing a LOT of recipes. Fission Batteries, Clothes, Armor, Weapons. With taking apart a zillion guns you would think you could turn around and create the same guns again. And you can disassemble clothing/armor into fabric/leather sheets and yet the only wearable item u can make is leather armor or combat armor and the only weapons you can make are melee ones like the baseball bat and sledgehammer. I would like to know how easy it is to make my own recipes? I'm fairly noobish with the GECK but I'm getting better slowly. Thanks in advance. To be clear, I'm looking to add recipes for: (to name a few) Fission Batteries Authority Glasses Cowboy Hat Sheriff Duster Hunting Rifle Cowboy Repeater Sniper Rifle etc. Like take for instance a sniper rifle. Maybe a good recipe could be something like varmint rifle + lead pipe + duct tape + soda bottle + 5 scrap metal.

Beginner Fallout PC YouTuber. Need advice!
WaRi0 replied to Le7Zins's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
It says both videos are private so we can't watch them. Set the videos to public on youtube. -
Try going back to the older version of NVSE.

Your hours spent playing New Vegas?
WaRi0 replied to WestdykeAutos's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
I have 924 hours in Fallout New Vegas. It's my favorite game of all time. I do dearly hope they in fact do announce Fallout 4 at E3 this year!! :) -
So I started off using NMM like everyone else. Then I saw a video on youtube by Gopher about a new mod manager called Mod Organizer. It offered some advanced features NMM didn't so I tried it out and loved it. With MO you can install a mod and are given a popup window wheere you can uncheck certan parts of the mod u dont need/want, re-arrange the mod to suit your needs and so on. That part I liked a lot. The part I didn't like so much as the fact that the more mods I installed with MO the more unstable FNV got. My max number of mods with MO was about 66. Beyond that and FNV wouldn't even start. So I moved back to NMM but decided to try the new beta 6.0 and since moving back, I have about 88 mods installed with no problems. I don't know, I really loved MO but at the same time it really seemed to hate FNV for some reason. My PC specs: AMD FX 8350 8-Core Processor 8GB DDR3 RAM Windows 7 Home 64bit Geforce 970 Just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there and my personal experiences with both mod managers. Another weird thing is the only way I can play Fallout 3 on my pc is to install the huge Tale of Two Wastelands mod which merges F03 with FNV, but that means 2 worlds load at the same time and my pc hates that mod and after maybe 10 minutes of game play the game starts slowing down to a crawl which doesnt happen with just FNV. Fallout 3 by itself just crashes on startup no matter what I try, and I've tried all the supposed "windows 7 crash fixes." Wario

So I'm trying to add a snowglobe stand to the goodsprings schoolhouse. I placed the display and then the REFs for the snowglobes onto the stand but in game when i click on the snowglobe stand it takes my snowglobes but doesn't display them. What am I doing wrong? I see in the GECK that there is something called vSnowglobeEnabler and vSnowglobeEnablerScript. Are these what I'm missing? If so how do I use them. Please help. :(

Could someone please add a bobblehead stand in the Goodsprings schoolhouse from the New Bison Steve And Lucky Casino Mod? Afterschool Special is awesome but the place needs a bobblehead stand. I tried adding it myself with the GECK but I can't do it and so could someone please help me? Thanks, WaRi0

Thanks it makes a big difference, for me at least.

yes make a copy of the gun in GECK, mess with the stats if you wish, and save it as a .ESP file. thats really the only way to do it.

I keep getting a "Missing Master Check Load Order"
WaRi0 replied to user2501's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
if you use mod organizer it will tell you which master your missing... switch over to it from NMM its soooo much better and not super complicated like people think. just watch Gopher's MO videos if you want, they tell how to use it and such. -
Who is Doc Mitchell...really?
WaRi0 replied to Deleted4363562User's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
When I was a kid I kept trying to tell my friends that the same actor, Harrison Ford, played Han Solo AND Indiana Jones and no one believed me, hehe. This was the early 80s and there wasn't an internet of course. :) -
I think he means a way to keep the experience bar visible 24/7. I wouldn't mind that either.
-
As more and more people make house mods in Goodsprings the town gets pretty full. Also a lot of mods like to use the back of the truck parked opposite Doc Mitchell's house to store their mod stuff like Briefcases and Trunks. I would love if someone would move the trunks from Tailor Maid, Distributed Neck Seam Necklaces, and Spice Of Life into Kristina's Closet mods house so all the clothing can be in one spot! :D

Weird problem with the sky in FNV
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
yea I stopped using an ENB with FNV and have had no more problems with that particular issue. I just wish RWL would stop making it cloudy so much. I just want a lighting mod that makes no weather at all and just makes it bright and hot looking. -
Weird problem with the sky in FNV
WaRi0 replied to WaRi0's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
yes I stopped using the ENB and I stopped using weather mods altogether and the problem has stopped. The problem with weather mods in FNV is they all want to make it cloudy/raining all the time when its a desert region where rain is very scarce. I just want some mod that makes it very bright sunlight to make it look hot.
