All the cardboard boxes, plastic bins, and wooden bins are such an ugly eye sore. I'd like to request that they be made invisible and have no collision. (Don't want to be running into things I can't see.) Or just completely disabled from the game world. I know there are mods that allow you to scrap practically anything anywhere, but I'd really rather they didn't exist in the first place. I can't be the only one that wants this! Haha. Thanks to anyone that is willing to take on this project.

Force Settlement Quests To Ally With Them/Bug Fix
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Zero impact? Is that why your mod's "user notes" and "known issues" take up almost the entire description page? The user notes sound a heck of a lot like "this mod will only work if you follow these steps" which doesn't make it very elegant in my book. Plus, scripts can have their downsides and cause their own issues, too. They're not the godsend you are trying to make them out to be. I appreciate you giving AbsolutGrndZer0 another option if they are in fact interested and/or using mods like that, but the way you went about it seemed extremely pompous. No need to get defensive when I didn't even know your mod existed.- 4 replies

Force Settlement Quests To Ally With Them/Bug Fix
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
It took me about half a year to figure out what the problem was. It was mods. Or, a single mod. Any mods that stop or change settlement attacks will hinder you in obtaining settlements. Settlement attacks have to be able to start whenever they want in order for random events to occur to start the quests you need. I got rid of NSA - No Settlement Attacks (I think that was the mod), started a fresh game, and had zero issues. (I had had the same issue over and over again over several different save games with that mod installed.) I also got rid of an addon that altered how often Preston gave out radiant quests and such. I've heard those kind of mods can cause bugs with settlements as well. I'd recommend doing the same, if you have any. I hope this helps!!- 4 replies

I'm wanting to make my own Settlement Keywords Expanded patch for the mod Old World Plaids. I've tried following the guide found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ydVOcJy_SUR41vyfucY-FX2j9kFWmIGIkT2UAKowyn8/edit But it's really just not enough information for me. I need something more in-depth and specific, I guess. I even installed the Automation Tools it recommends and tried using the QuickChange script, but I guess I'm not putting in the right information for the script to do what it's supposed to. *sigh* But even if I did get that part to work right, I don't feel like I'd be doing anything correctly. lol Do you only change the FNAM - Category Keyword of the Constructible Objects??? What else has to be done??? Sooo confused. I've tried looking online for other guides and videos, but I literally can't find anything else. If anyone knows any links to some good guides or videos, that would be great. I'm really wanting to know how to make SKE patches for any and all mods that add items to the vanilla menus. Whether it be just for myself, or if the author of whatever mod it may be would like to make use of it as well. Please, please, please help me out here. I really want to get this done. Thank you to anyone that has some genuine help to offer. <3

It would be great if I could type something into the console (or maybe use a holotape?) and view what the last 5, 10, or 20 things I picked up were. Or something along those lines. There's so many times that I'm in my own little world while playing, or I pick something up accidentally or too quickly. And i'd love to be able to view something, like a small list, of the last few things I added to my inventory. Especially when it comes to notes and holotapes. No idea if anything like this is possible, even with f4se. But it sure would be amazing if it was.

Wasn't sure if I should post this in Mod Requests or Mod Troubleshooting... I'm hoping for some help with the mod "FO4 Ring of Jetpack Ability", found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2416 I'm wanting to still retain the jetpack ability when I'm using Power Armor, without actually having a jetpack equipped. Just the ring from the mod. Is it possible to add this in on FO4Edit? If so, could someone explain how? Thank you!

I actually created something with the CK that works well enough for me. Since it's the first thing I ever created with the CK, there were a couple things I edited that were unnecessary (like audio templates or some such??? they were under "actors" so, whatever...) but it doesn't seem to effect anything... yet. lol I also added a few other things to be friendly for sanity sake. Like, caravan guards to be friendly with the bugs and such. I was getting annoyed seeing them walk down roads and suddenly attacking seemingly friendly things. I would post the file here, but I'm not sure what the rules are with people posting their work on the forum. If someone took my mod and put it up as their own somewhere, I'd be pretty ticked off. So, thanks everyone!!!
-
Tried that. After spending 4-5 hours in FO4Edit trying different things, I turned to the CK. Something I was hoping I wouldn't have to do. Spent 2-3 hours watching videos and trying to figure out how the CK works. I think I may have figured it out. After creating it and adding it to my plugin list, it seems to work how I want in-game... I'm just concerned about it messing up quests, mainly. I didnt mess with anything that started with "MQ" (though I don't recall there being anything). When I look at the mod I made compared to other mods that are similar, the changes are different. The rest of the mods seem to be editing "Faction" and "XNAM - Relation", while my mod edits "Non-Player Character (Actor)" and "SNAM - Faction" and "AIDT - AI Data".
-
I've been using a few mods for a while that cause certain enemies to become friendly. I've taken a look at these mods in FO4Edit, and it appears that all they did was add "PlayerFaction "Player Faction" [FACT:0001C21C]" in XNAM - Relation and changed the Group Combat Reaction of that to Ally or Friend. I've been trying to create an ESP for myself in FO4Edit that includes Deathclaws, Rad Scorpions, Mirelurks, Molerats, Yao Guais, Radroaches, Bloodbugs, Bloatflies, and Stingwings. (I'll get around to adding DLC nasty creature types later). I want them all to be completely friendly to me, and anyone else I'm friends with. The reason for this is the other mods I use already make ragstags, ghouls, dogs, and wolves friendly to me and I only want to kill humans & robots in this play-through. I even went as far as trying to add other factions to their lists to try to make it work! The CaptiveFaction, DogmeatFaction, PlayerAllyFaction, and PlayerFriendFaction. Nothing is working. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or why it may not be working? Mods I'm currently using that are what I want done to other enemies: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3208 - Docile Radstags https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20381 - Friendly Ghouls https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19754 - NMDD - No More Dead Dogs https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18219 - Less Aggressive Wolves

Robot Armor Retextures Needed
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Actually, I meant robot armor for the player. I guess I didn't really specify back when I posted this. I meant this armor: (Not my screenshot, all credit goes to whomever) https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1151/images/12187-2-1461134934.jpg I believe that's a shot from the author that made the gear 4k. Which is great and all, something I used for a while, but I like my gear to look clean and sleek. That armor desperately needs new textures/colors/everything. I haven't checked to see if anyone has made any in months because I've been playing other games, but yeah. But Starwaster, that robot looks freakin' awesome!!! I love it!! Great work. Looks like something I'd definitely be interested in if/when I pick up FO4 again. -
Below is a screenshot of a wall in Highpoint Tower. Although I've seen this brownish-green moss (or whatever it is) all over the place and it's disgusting looking. Anyone know of a mod/retexture that gets rid of (makes invisible?) or improves the look of this hideous moss stuff? Or would be willing to make a mod for this? http://i.imgur.com/L2YE279.png?1 I already use NobleSkyrim, CC's HQ Caves, CC's HQ Mines, HQ Towns and Villages, SMIM, etc etc and it doesn't seem like any of these has done anything about the grossness on these walls. Edit: For all I know, these textures could actually come from NobleSkyrim. So if it's not actually part of the wall and something that can be textured to be invisible, that'd be awesome.

SSE Enable Fast Travel With Enemies Nearby
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
If you're talking about http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/9550/? (Fast Travel Ambushes and Consequences SE), then that's not what I'm looking for at all. I just want to be able to fast travel without getting the message that I cannot fast travel while enemies are nearby. I want to be able to bypass/ignore that and fast travel anyway. -
SSE Enable Fast Travel With Enemies Nearby
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
yes, i'm on PC and i use Skyrim Special Edition. I searched so much for something like that! If you find something for Skyrim SE, please let me know. -
A few mods out there get rid of fast travel all together... But I'd rather have a mod that allows me to fast travel while there are "enemies nearby". I've searched the Nexus and the forums and couldn't even find a request for this! I'm really surprised. I've tried using the "tdetect" console command to get around this, but it doesn't work for that. Besides, I'd rather just have a mod that takes care of it for me instead of having to use the console (if there is in fact another command that works) every time I'm too lazy to run around looking for the nearby enemy. Anyone willing to take this on?

Wanting a mod that allows us to see how many of a specific item we already have in our inventory. For example, when you hover over an item in a container, it brings up a small window to describe the item. (See screenshot below.) It would be great if in one of the corners of the window or after the name of the object, it would specify how many of those items we already have in our inventory. http://i.imgur.com/8lQvpyV.png?1

So far, I've only come across 3 mods that retexture the robot armor. One that does 2k and 4k versions of green or black, one that makes it all black, and one that made it look like Optimus Prime. Where are the silver/clean metal or chrome retextures? Or gradient colors? Or even solid colors? The armor itself isn't that appealing as it is, and could really use some retexture work. lol. Thanks for checking out my request! Excited to see if anyone volunteers.

Never mind... How the heck do you delete posts you've made?

I've seen tons of retextures/replacers for Dogmeat... But what about all the other dogs in the Fallout 4 world? Particularly the mongrels. I recently started using Crimsomrider's mod that retextures the raider dogs. (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20599/?) And it made me realize how absolutely hideous the wild mongrels and such are. I'm using a mod that causes dogs to ignore you and makes them protected so they can't be killed by NPCs. (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19754/?) So having nice looking dogs running around the commonwealth would be awesome. Also would be cool to use the wasteland workshop cages to catch some dogs that actually looked like he belonged in my settlement. The junkyard dogs look okay, except some of their faces look injured. Would want that taken care of if possible, too. I have a mod that retextures cats, another that retextures brahmin, etc. Now I need one for the dogs of the Commonwealth! This may be non-lore friendly to some, but since I've probably put in over 1,000 hours into FO4, I don't really care for lore friendly things. I like clean, pretty things. Haha. Please let me know if you're willing to take on this request, or post a comment if this is something you'd like to see, too!

I've come across quite the bug. I've been unable to ally with the following settlements: Nordhagen Beach, Oberland Station, and County Crossing. Preston nor Radio Freedom will give me any quests related to these areas so that I'm able to ally with them and use their workshops. Just a few other radiant quests to save settlers from kidnappers, etc, and it seems I get quests for Tenpines Bluff more than anything. Ugh. After scouring Google about this issue, it seems a lot of others have had the same issue. Several theories like if you don't ally with all the settlements before level 50, you're out of luck... all saying this has been happening since patch 1.5. I'm aware that I could use the console to "setownership" of the workshop, but that comes with a lot of issues/bugs. And I know that I could simply slaughter all of the current settlers at those locations to obtain ownership. But I'd really rather do neither. Nordhagen Beach has a child settler, for goodness sake! Anyway, I'm hoping it would be possible to create a holotape or something that would allow you to select quests to force. For instance, a "Kidnapping at Oberland Station" radiant quest so that I'd be able to complete it and become an ally to the settlement. Or even just a bug fix??? Thanks for checking out my mod request. If anyone has any insight to this problem or has had this problem themselves and would also be interested in a fix, please leave a comment.

Any Rustless Power Armor Mods?
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Alright, I think I'm good. Found some things that work for me! http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/738/? -- Power Armor (Recolors) -- Using "Black T-51" file http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2239/? -- Coldchylde's Powerarmor Shop -- Using "Brotherhood Outcast T60 Re-texture", "Minuteman PA Re-texture", and "Paladin and Elder T60 Re-texture" files (some overwriting here and there) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4233/? -- Black Titanium Power Armor Frame (Includes great jetpack retexture!) http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4994/? -- Fusion Core Retexture http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1898/? -- Hd Black.red Power Armor Station http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10937/? -- Better Dials for Power Armor - Fallout 4 -- "Better Dials for Power Armor - Vault-Tech BLUE" file Spawned a few suits with the Cheat Terminal mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13285/?) and looked at the several suits I had already collected through my travels and everything seems to be covered. Danse's suit also looks SO much better, yay! At this point, I think I'm good. Just thought I'd link everything I decided to use in case anyone else wants to check them out. -
Any Rustless Power Armor Mods?
NeuroticPixels replied to NeuroticPixels's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Worsin's wouldn't work for me because it's not paints that I'm looking for. I'm wanting a retexture of all the vanilla power armors that takes away rust. I appreciate that the Consistent Power Armor Overhaul mod gave a "metal" paint that gets rid of the rust, but it's still just a paint. If I understand correctly, I'm not going to see NPCs in power armors out in the world using these paints. They're just for me to use. So they don't solve this eye-sore of an issue. Like this one. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5326/? Unfortunately, it only changes one set of power armor, and it doesn't include Danse's suit according to the posts, and the author links a mod that no longer exists to fix Danse's suit. And I totally agree. Less immersive AND ugly. I can repair and paint my stuff until kingdom come, but I want the suits I find out in the world and the ones NPCs are already wearing to be gentle on the eyes and not cringe-worthy. So I was hoping someone already knew of a mod, or multiple I could use without conflict, to solve it. Thanks for your response! EDIT: Actually, after rereading the description page for the Consistent Power Armor Overhaul, it sounds like it's a retexture... yet he continually uses the word "paint job" and such. So I'm a tad confused. But I may try it out later to see what it actually does. Unfortunately, he says he gave the T51a a rusty texture. Bleh. -
I've looked through the retexture and power armor categories on Nexus, and even tried using specific keywords in the "file name contains" and "description contains" search fields... I even Googled! But I can't seem to find a mod that retextures all of the power armors that show signs of rusting. Especially for the one that Paladin Danse wears. I don't want 4k and I don't want the armors to be all black or a whole different color. I want the retextures to be pretty close to the vanilla look, just minus all the rust. AND I do not want something that will somehow modify the stats or whatnot of the power armor. I just want retextures. Have I missed something?? Can someone please let me know if they know of a mod that does this? P.S. I've found http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3089/? this mod ("Black Raider Power Armor"), which is pretty much what I'm looking for, just for all the other rusty power armors out there. They took the rusty parts and turned them black. Which is fine. Gets rid of the ugly brown/orange colors. Thank you!

The only mod I've found that attempts to give us all of the Eddie Winter holotapes to quickly complete the quest Long Time Coming from Nick Valentine does not work... http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16493/? I'm hoping someone would be willing to create a (hopefully quick and easy-ish) mod to allow us to grab up those holotape quest items real quick and be finished with Nick's quest. It'd be even better if they actually deleted them from the game world as well so we don't end up with multiples. Thanks for checking out my request.
