I would love to have a pair of long fall boots to go with the Space Core mod. I was looking for something to prevent fall damage and I thought why not have stylish and practical footwear do it? And please please PLEASE make it for both genders. I play male characters and the one thing I always hated about Oblivion's modding community is that everything was for women only. I felt left out. :(

I saw a shapeshifting mod somewhere but I cannot for the life of me find it now. It let the player turn into a fox, though it had some glitches if I remember right.

Someone already asked for a shark once, I'm not sure if anyone agreed to make it or not. Human-like races are easy to make because all you do is slap on a few textures and BOOM you're done. Animal races require new meshes made from scratch. The real problem with making new races like this is the head. There weren't a lot of people who could make meshes to begin with, much less a new head (which is a ton more complicated) and most of them have probably moved on to Skyrim now.

I tried, but it refuses to render correctly on my computer. I can't tell if it's working or not so I'm afraid someone else is going to have to do it.

I'll try the original skeleton once I reinstall Oblivion. I was using the Universal Skeleton .nif, perhaps that's what broke it.

The real hard part about making a race like this is the head. I don't know of too many people who can make new head models. Good luck in finding someone that can do this. It sounds like an interesting idea and if you ever do get someone to make it for you I want screenshots. They're bound to be entertaining.

I actually tried this once, sadly, it doesn't work in-game. Your extra tail(s) will show up fine on your inventory screen but will either not be there when you're moving around or they'll be waaaay off in the distance. Oblivion does not like rendering more than one tail, unfortunately. I never did get it to work.

Better Argonian Vampires changes the pink eye thing. Haven't seen anything to keep the exact same skin color, though.

I really don't see how it's any different than wanting to play as a wolf, yet plenty of people have made wolf-inspired races and even playable creature wolves.

These have already been done but they are scattered about in various mods. Some of the other things you're asking for aren't possible, though. They're hardcoded into the engine and no mod can fix that.
