I looked at all 3 of the hubs I found, the ones I believe to be my 2.0 ports all had the tab and said high speed. Unfortunately the one I think is my 3.0 (its called Fresco Logic xHCI (USB3) Root hub) does not seem to have the advanced tab. So there is no telling if what its speed is. The box of the harddrive states is a super speed USB3 capable harddrive though. If my computer would recognize it. While i was there I did have windows look for a driver update but there was none found.

Thanks for the response. I had thought I had already had the selected but when I plugged it in again it wasn't. Anyways in trying it out. . . it did seem to help for a minute or two then it still tapers down to sub 2.0 transfer rates. like 20mbps.

Hey, I recently got a usb 3.0 harddrive because my video card was crashing(53 times yesterday) to make a back up in case I had to send my computer to the manufacturer. I had been using a 2.0 hard drive and was getting speeds of about 15mbps. Then I switched to the 3.0 and got about 18mbps. So I got on the internet and think I got the right Drivers (for a Asus G73sw-A1 if anyone knows of better drivers?) and Saw 70mbps right away but then it eventually dwindled to 8mbps. half as fast as my usb 2.0? So something has to be wrong? I mean when I start copying I get around 60-50mbps, but it always goes down between 10-20. I have read up and it seems i should atleast see around 70-100. Would any of you guys be able to tell me potentially what could be wrong? I'm running Windows 7 64 bit Got a Asus G73sw-A1 And a Seagate 1tb 3.0 external drive. And this is the driver I installed: USB3_Fresco_Win7_64_Z35240 which I found on the Asus forums. As for the graphics card Issue, it seems to be fixed for now, but it had no reason to start in the first place so who knows Thanks for any help!

Yeah, I just don't think it has the monitors, cause the desktop gadget I used couldn't find fanspeed either. Not helpful at all for me lol. I'm think I'm just gonna start the process to send it in. Hopefully they don't come up with some excuse as to why it can't be warrantied, my accidental year warranty ran out about the 15th of May so that would just suck. also is it normal for the gpu to be so much hotter than the cpu? In that pic at idle (though dual monitoring) its a good 20 degrees hotter.

Yeah I'm gonna wait and check out my options more. On the CPUID where does it say fan speed? I only see temperatures.

The link I gave will tell you what the speed and temps are... you can anyone to look at it if your not under warranty. I don't recommend opening it up yourself unless you know allot about laptops. I believe I have a 2 year warranty for malfunctions, but if its just dust i don't want to send it off for 2 weeks, that seems excessive, but I do need them to fix my V key that fell of the week after i bought it. I have a gtx 460m(in a ASUS G73sw-A1) and according to a desktop gadget its been running super hot lately, like 80-93 degrees celsius, within 10 minutes of any game(portal 2, minecraft, even a gamecube emulator),and just dual monitoring with netflix takes me up to 80c with out anything else going on my computer . And I used to be able to run skyrim for hours and never go above 80 degrees. Could this be my drivers? Or a hardware issue? Or maybe just fan blockage? It doesn't make any sense that it would get this hot lately. Is there some common reasons I could check? Or a better place to ask this question? when i dual monitor it seems to go up 10 degrees even at idle, is that something I should see? Both monitors are 1920x1080.

Ive been having the same problems, 296 even gave me a blue screen error. I am using the 64 bit drivers. 296 worked fine for about 2 weeks for me too, until yesterday. Then it got to the point i could use it, until the blue screen. I finally got 301 up, and it crashed to (just the driver and only once). Well I got the autocomplete and highlighting working. But it freezes on run, but atleast its doing something lol. So I guess I just need to get the right pathfile and I should be good Thanks, your suggestions helped a lot

I think i did all that, for some reason i have an ansi and a unicode folder in my np++ folder, so I put the plug in in the Api folders for each. I did import the highlighting file, and it says "import successful, but when i opened a script it was still black and white. Do I need to click the "user defined Languages" option in the langauges menu or something? I browsed to the batch file and clicked it, so I dont think it would be wrong, or is that not how I am supposed to do it? In the batch file i put "%D%\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Papyrus Compiler\PapyrusCompiler.exe" %1 -f="TESV_Papyrus_Flags.flg" -i="%D%\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data\Scripts\Source" -o="%D%\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\Data\Scripts" Pause My steam folder is in the my d drive with no folders in between, so I believe that is right? I was following the wiki to import the Papyrus stuff to Np++. I copied the xml to the apis folder, I imported the highlighting xml, which says the import was successful. Yet it doesn't highlight? :wallbash: I cant find the plug in the list of plugins, and it doesn't auto complete. It also seems not to compile :psyduck: , I made sure to change the .bat to the correct path(at least as far as i know). Yet when I hit run it seems to do nothing at all :unsure: Does does anyone know a better tutorial than the wiki? or just any advice on how they got it to work? or a better outside ck scripting program? Thanks!

I'm having same problem. All I'm doing is duplicating the race, and it won't render. Help appreciated. This does this trying to copy anything, like horse and what not too :/ and I cant find the files to reapply the models and textures

Okay so I think I could get it to work if i could turn the horse files to wolf ones, but I can not find where the game hides the textures? Does anyone know what folder its in?

I have the 460m 1.5gb in my Asus, would I be able to do the same as you to help my fps? Id like to be able to run ultra better, as I can only get 20fps in cities right now

I have the g73sw-a1, that i got for $1850 in may, and I only run at high35-50fps, 20-35fps on ultra, i didnt think they were that different?

I think if you choose your mod as the "active file" it fixes it, as far as I have noticed We all answered at the same time lol
