  1. I think one of the companions from Honest Hearts has a perk that does something like this but lowers the enemy's perception while you are sneaking, if you have the dlc you could try looking into how it's done in that.

So i have been working on a companion mod and I would say i'm about half way through it; just need to finish the quest part and do the lip sync, and I'd really like a custom armor to go with it but even after i tried following tutorials i basically got nowhere, so now i'm hoping someone else would like to do this. Here is the basic idea of what i wanted it to look like http://imageshack.us/f/528/desmondoutfitdesign01.png/ I did design it so that it could probably be done using stuff from the game put together and re-textured. What I was going to use was the kings outfit but re-textured and maybe some different pants, the ammo belt from the raider badlands armor and goggles around the neck. (I dont care too much about the goggles or ammo belt, i just added them because it was looking kind of boring)
  4. Fallout mod manager lets you do this if you just go onto tools and then saved games it gives you a list of all the saves and what mods are active in them

  7. I think I remember seeing a weapon like that included in the Monster Mod as a weapon you could find on robots or something, it could be what you mean

  9. I found the combination of a stealth boy, flare gun and an anti-material rifle workes well at that point
  10. I dont think it's really ever explained but after old world blues i assumed they where like those trauma harrness things with dead bodies inside

This isnt really a mod request but i wasn't really sure where I should post it :confused: Okay so I had an idea for a Quest/ New land mod for new vegas and I just want to hear some opinions of the story, setting and ideas before I actually try and attempt it. I should mention that I am new to modding and all i can do so far in the GECK are worldspaces, interiors and NPCs so i'm not sure how much of this i'd actually be able to do. ----------------------------- STORY The courier is captured by an unknown enemy and taken to a strange area. Once there he is told that the only way he will earn his freedom is to take part in numerous combat challanges; that are filmed and broadcast all over the wasteland for entertainment. The player must then play through different challanges all with different settings, enemies and objectives. The difficulty would increase as you go on. When the player completes all the challanges then they are given the choice to either destroy the people who are running the whole thing or just leave allowing them to continue abducting people. ----------------------------- The kinds of challanges i was thinking of would be things like simply fighting you're way through a place full of enimies, boss fights, stealing eggs from a deathclaw nest, ect. after each challange you would be rewarded with things like money, weapons, armor and ammo. There would also be a central hub area where you can acess all the different challange areas with things like a player home and vendors. ----------------------------- Again this isn't really a mod request but any help with ideas or advise would be welcome. And also if i try and fail then i guess it would become a request..
  13. I had a similar problem a while back with AWOP when unckecking it wouldnt work so i deactivated it. Then when i installed it again the unchecking worked fine. I don't know if this will really help you though.
  14. This mod looks like it's going to be amazing. Also if you need anything like concept art for armor, weapons and stuff i'd be happy to help, I could probably do other graphics stuff as well if you need it like pipboy icons.

  16. Ok so up until now i've had no problms downloading files from the site, but then when i tried to download something today after the bit where you select the server it just goes onto a white box and some sort of messege keeps flashing on and off. So i'm not sure whats going on.
  17. not sure about FOOK and NVR, i had some bugs when i tried it but i dont know if FOOK caused it. I dont think nevada skies caused any problems with NVR but i cant remember for sure. AWOP and monster mod seem to work fine with FOOK as far as i can tell.
